A quick 4 minute walk from baggage claim at the airport. When you want to get your hea on a pillow fast, this is the place. Nice breakfast in the morning.

We were very disappointed, aside from the very musty, moldy smell of the inside of the hotel and everywhere in the hotel, our first night they put us in a handicap room with safety bars everywhere, shower with no curtain, just imagine taking showers you'll create literally flooding in the bathroom. The moldy smell in the room and hallways almost take […] your breath away. Breakfast has limited items and the service is fair ie. running out plates. You get your own coffee and literally have to clear your own table. The only thing positive with our stay was the location of the hotel, across the international airport. Everyone in the hotel is superb except for the front desk staff. They seemed so stiff, unfriendly, not very helpful and above all, lacked the basic customer service skills ( greet and smile). I expect a great customer service when I pay for my stay.

The lobby is very nice. Front desk is professional and efficient. The rooms, especially the carpet, need upgrading, but are still comfortable. Bathrooms are very nice. Breakfast is becoming more and more geared towards Asian tastes, which is understandable. Small and unappealing selection of the same 3 fruits each morning. I have stayed at the Waterfront hotels on many occasions over the last several years. This visit will be my last time I patronize this chain. I had spent the previous week at the hotel before taking a side trip to bohol. Upon returning via ferry, my room room as not yet ready, so to kill some time I decided to go to a local mall. I went outside to get a taxi, and requested one. Several seconds later, two Korean businessmen with suits and ties walked out . When the taxi arrived, the bellman shielded me from getting in, allowing the Koreans to have the taxi. I felt like I was in the American South in the 1950s. It was overt racism of the worst kind. I completely lost my temper. The bellman made some completely idiodic excuse, but the bottom line is that Asians, especially Koreans, are more valued and important customers than Americans and will get preferrence in the eyes of the staff. In the future, I will look for a hotel that treats all of their guests with the same courtesy. Mehr

I was concerned that we would listen to airplanes across the street. We only heard them when we were outside, and even then, not often. I wouldn't take any money into the casino unless I was prepared to part with it. I didn't see anyone on a winning streak like you frequently see in Vegas or Atlantic City. The Waterfront Hotel is very convenient to Cebu Airport and the Staff is AWESOME! 5+. However, the up keeping of the property has been neglected for an example the shower could not balance the hot/cold water, lamp was not working properly, the light switches were confusing and the safe was not big enough to hold my laptop. I arrived the hotel 2 am when I arrived in cebu airport. It was just in front of airport ( good location) After I entered in the room, mixed smell of smoking. and fonge made us uncomfortable even the floor is non smoking floor. The Hotel is located right across the street from I T Park which has plenty of food options. A short taxi ride to the mall. The hotels has concerts every week which are pretty decent. They just need to upgrade their rooms. A flat screen tv goes a long way.

i had a late check in and they really treated me well they upgraded me to a bigger room , the rooms smell damp but really nice .Interent service was bad . I liked the breakfast buffet alot of great food .The staff was great in the hotel i didnt go to the casino yet im still here for another 4 days

The hotel has easy access to the airport for short term stays and is not to far from anywhere. Leave the minibar alone unless you have more money then you need and if so you won't be staying there. The SM market is a short taxi ride away where you can stock up on water, beer and snacks. The room is really confortable and the price is fair for the price. For the restaurant, the salty food was excellent but when we arrived to the desserts, they were better to look than to eat. We arrived a day early, and staff we very helpful in providing a room at short notice. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a good view of Mactan Airport and waterfront. Room service was prompt, and single serves were provided as requested. Breakfast buffet was exceptional and staff went the extra mile to make dining a pleasure. Was given a floor on the smoking floor after having requested non-smoking at the time of booking. The hotel apologized and promptly gave us a room on the non-smoking floor. The room was large and comfortable with plenty of cupboard space ( but lacking in hangers). Staff in the hotel were courteous and helpful, especially Dick, the Concierge. A note […] was taken of any taxi we used and a slip of paper handed to us with the details, if there were any problems, which there weren't. The hotel has large open spaces and a beautiful pool area to wile away a few pleasant hours; poolside service is available via a phone, towels available from the fitness centre. The buffet breakfast was extensive with something for everyone. Whilst breakfast was good, the restaurant was only average for other meals. The toilet seat had a crack in it and needs to be replaced. Warning: You don't want to injure yourself sitting on a cracked toilet seat in the room we had (Room 552). The windows are very dirty and need to be cleaned! The hotel is badly maintained! No salt and pepper available on the tables in their restaurant.

Our family arrived late from the airport Christmas Night and we were certainly tired. The Staff upgraded us to an Executive Suite which was very nice. The Waterfront has the makings to be a truly fabulous hotel. There are things that could be improved that stand in it's way for that to be a reality. One that stood out was a huge gap of the glass shower […] doors which resulted in a big puddle in the bathroom. Cleaning up water with our towels late at night was not what I had in mind. I think that having 3 prong electrical outlets (grounded) thinking safety here, would be something I would also expect from a top hotel. Waterfront has superb ambiance and we interacted with very polite staff when we had any problem. The two complimentary buffet breakfasts were the great surprise! It was unequaled anywhere in it's abundance and variety in Cebu City. Overall, The Waterfront Hotel was a very good value and we would recommend it. Mehr

Good value, good service, good price, facing the Airport, 20 mn by taxi to all Malls in Cebu. very nice pool, if you can guet one of the rooms facing the pool , you are in Heaven. One of my favorite.
