Stonehurst Place - Atlanta

Beautiful. Exceptionally clean. Nice and relaxing environment. Tiny bathroom but suitable. Excellent breakfast. I cannot wait to stay there again!

My 4 friends and I stayed at Stonehurst Place for 2 nights while in ATL recently, in the 2 downstairs rooms and the Gables Suite upstairs. We were all impressed by the Hotel decor - myself especially with the owner's collection of art and classic architect-designed furniture. Caroline was fabulous as was the daily breakfast. We had a wonderful stay at Stonehurst. I only wish we had more time to relax there as it was a business trip mainly. Our hosts were lovely and the property is beautifully restored and GREEN, which is important to us. Can't wait to go again!

Stonehurst Place is a gorgeous bed and breakfast in an interesting revitalized neighborhood not far from downtown Atlanta. My sister and I stayed in one of the top-floor suites and loved it. The bathroom was a dream, the bed and bedding about the most comfortable we've ever enjoyed, and the hospitality superb. We were treated to delicious snacks always […] available in the dining room, lovely wine at happy hour, and gourmet breakfasts each morning. Our hosts were charming and efficient, too. Their recommendations for restaurants were excellent, and their directions to those we chose as well as to other attractions enabled us to feel at home out in the city as well. We were especially impressed with the renovation of the inn. A stone and wood exterior opened to a delightfully redone interior. The owners have retained the significant features of the house, such as beautiful floors and lovely architectural moldings and cabinetry and have added gallery-quality modern art and the latest conveniences, such as luxurious showers and fine electronics. We highly recommend this inn for a luxurious and relaxing stay in a charming neighborhood with wonderful hosts. Mehr

I rarely ever write a review...hotels are hotels and most are just fine. But, this place deserves high praise. Stunningly beautiful bed and breakfast. Very recent and full restoration of a grand old Atlanta home. No expense spared on critical amenities. Book a room just for the sumptuous bathroom. A real surprise. Just two blocks from downtown on Peachtree […] St. I wanted to extend my stay a week. Everything was first class, from the greeting at the door to my very early morning departure. This bed and breakfast is the best hidden secret in all of atlanta! They have amazing service, wonderful rooms, and an amazing mix of old and new that makes this place beautiful! They were very accomadating with my diet needs and prepared exactly what i needed for breakfast! Lovely, historic B&B. They took such great care of me. The building is amazing. The neighborhood is fun, too.
