We stayed at Rodeway inn mainly due to the price and the location. When we first arrived, I ws fairly disappointed with the room we were given. At midnight that same night, we called the front desk and let them know we wanted a refund and to check out, we wanted to go to a different hotel. The manager was extremely nice and offered us the best room […] in the hotel with no extra charge for the rest of our stay. After this, the stay turned out to be excellent and had an amazing vacation. Would recommend the hotel on the customer service alone. Mehr

Nice hotel..family owned and wanted to be the best. One weird thing that happened was that I went to lobby and asked to break Down some money to tip the maids. We went out for 2 hours for breakfast and when we returned, the money was taken but the rooms were still unkempt! Weird.

At the beginning when I where about to move in I noticed that the occupant of the next to my room staing at the stair and smoking marijuana. As soon as he seen me he hide in his room. Despite strong smell of the staff no one seems to react. When try to turn on the light in the bathroom I realised that bulb is almost finished and hardly gives yellow […] light that far not enough to be called a light. At my request to replace it I have been advised by manager to do it myself so they are ready to provide a new bulb. So my point - for this money that they charge you can ask for much more. When I remind them I am just a guest and they have to do it themself they swear they do it just in a five minutes so they never done it at the end at least for two days that I stayed in the hotel. Nice clean motel with fresh breakfast items. Beds were comfy, the rooms were clean and the price was great. What impressed me the most however, were the owners. Great people who want to make your stay enjoyable.

my wife & i notice that the room was really dusty. the sheets were dirty , good thing we took are own. Also we order an extra pair of pillows they never brought them. we try calling the front desk but no answer. also we check it around 10pm check out at 1am, we couldnt stand the smell also on the room.

It's just OK. The staff was super nice, but if you stay here, try to get a room on the top 3rd floor cuz at night it was really loud with people walking across the walkway upstairs. Kept me up and I didn't sleep well. The TV selection is really good.

It is a bit of a drive to Disneyland, but the for price and service, it is great. Hotel is older, but the staff more than makes up for it - super friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast is small and not much, but the rooms do have fridges and microwaves.

I've stayed here twice, I plan on staying here again.

For the price the hotel was ok. The TV remote did not work even when switching out batteries. When I went to check out no once came to the front desk. After waiting for 5 minutes I gave up and had to leave without a receipt. This hotel was a very convenient location for Disneyland. We were only about 15 minutes away. I stayed for 2 nights. Neighborhood was quiet but heard police sirens going by pretty often. This could be due to the fact that it was New Years. Crazy drunk people roaming around the streets. I was 2 hours early to the check-in and they were very accommodating. […] They found me a room within 5 minutes. The room seemed clean. It was comfortable but the issue I had was the bathroom. There was a bit of mold right above the shower. This is probably due to no ventilation. The floor had paint smudges and some of the wood looked like it was rotting and then painted over. I believe this is the best hotel anyone can find for the price. I will be back. Mehr

Decided on a last minute trip to Disneyland on a budget for New Years. It is about a 10-15 minute drive to disneyland from the hotel. staff was friendly and helpful. Typical breakfast with juice, coffee, and pastries.

Pleasant Stay.. Nice hotel

this hotel is easy to get to from LAX and to Disneyland. the room was comfortable the beds were nice. the room did smell a little bit of smoke for a non smoking room but nothing that would bother you. Also they only have shampoo and a bar of soap but no conditioner or lotion. but other than that is a great place to stay.

Hotel was adequate for our stay to go to Disney (about 10 minutes drive). We picked this hotel to avoid the crowds near Disney and also the exorbitant prices that comes with it. This hotel room was large and convenient. The front desk was extremely friendly. Of course free parking also helps given we would have had to pay for parking if we stayed closer […] to Disney. Would recommend this hotel as convenient, with no frills. But again for the price, I could have not asked for anything more. Mehr

This was a nice little hotel. Neighborhood is nice, very quite and the staff was very helpful. Needs some cosmetic work in the rooms, but they were clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.

Hotel is in a great location, very quiet and peaceful. Very clean room, and excellent service. Check in couldn't get any easier. Eventhough we didn't have time to eat breakfast, it was nice having the owner offering breakfast before we left. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a pretty nice hotel. We stayed one night and the staff was nice and we even got 2 bottles of water when we walked in. The room was clean and comfy. They were some updates that made it nice. The only complaint we had was the toilet was lose so it made it smell bad in the bathroom. Our solution was to keep door closed at all times. But other […] than that it was a nice place to stay. We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The facilities corresponds to the price that we pay. It does not have a pool, but his quality of service and cleanliness were very good. The location was also perfect for the vacation plans that we had (Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Dowtown LA, etc). I would go back to the same hotel again.

This was my first time booking a room in California. I know there are a lot of unsafe areas in LA so safety was my primary concern in choosing a place to stay...even if had to pay more. Not only was this a safe area, but there was a lot of restaurants and shops close by...but they all close by around 10pm...even the gas stations and pharmacies (CVS […] & WalGreens). The Room - for the price, all I wanted was a clean room...but I was surprised to find a bit more. Fast and complimentary wireless Internet...speedtest rated download speed at over 10MB/s. Complimentary cold breakfast. Maid service / room cleaning was offered everyday. The staff was friendly. Basically, for the area this is a great deal. Throw in a clean room and friendly staff and this is a great deal! Mehr

The TV in the room should have a remote control. Space in the breakfast area better larger in area.

Really the best motel you will find in the area for the cheap price.

The room had alot of amenities and close to most shops, restaurants, gas stations - BUT it was not 13 miles from my convention as listed on Hotels.com. It was 32 miles away. Not only did I have to endure the traffic, it was so inconvenient.

Arrived late, and although I had to wake the owner, he was extremely friendly and attentive. He made me feel welcome...especially at such a late hour. My room was especially neat and clean. I was very satisfied.

I stayed 2 nights at the Rodeway Inn in Cypress, CA. My overall stay was O.K the towels were very dirty but I had my own. The neighbors were way too loud, and I couldnt call out with the phones the hotel provided to complain.

The room was in excellent shape. The staff was extra nice. I'd definately recommend this place.

We arrived late but the person working at the front desk was SO nice. He was very accomidating and was even willing to get up early the next morning to ensure that we had coffee before we left for our early flight out! The customer service was excellent! Simple hotel and close to the airport.

The Rodeway is your standard lower-priced, clean hotel, a la Super 8 or Vagabond. It was nice and friendly, with a little desk/table and a fridge/microwave. I was just there overnight but could have stayed for a few days with no problems. Easy to get to and several restaurants in the area.

I really liked this place. The front desk was very nice and helpful. We ended up getting a good price on our second night just because we chated with the owner. The pace wasn't the nicess place and not in the best neighborhood, but I would definitely stay there again.

The price was great! The motel was out of the way, but easy to find. The hotel staff was friendly and accomodating. The rooms were clean and the overall stay was pleasant. I would recommend this hotel. I will certainly stay here again when I am in the area.

If you want to get fancy go some where fancy but I think most visitors just want a quite reasonable place to stay for the night that is reasonably close to all the action. This provides all of that and great hospitality. Highly recommended.

Two Words: Bed Bugs. Both of us had rashes on our body the next day. it seems like they only replace bed sheets once a year. Very dirty place. Hotel Front desk was kind and seemed like a nice person. I think he himself was the owner. But it doesn't make up for the smell and dirty place he is running. I DONOT recommend this place to anyone!

so ugly the room and the smell it sucks!! it's like a motel room!!! the aircon turns on and off.. the blankets are dirty!!! the service and people are nice but the over all hotel really really ugly

We had a great stay at the Rodeway Inn. It was nice to see the owners involved in the operations, it made the difference. The rooms were spacious and clean with a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was limited but still provided. Overall we had an excellent stay and would stay there again.

... without the higher hotel prices that you find closer to Disneyland. For me checking in went fine, but two guys checking in to another room at the same time said their key didn't work. They and the desk clerk went through three cycles of trying the plastic key card in the lock and reprogramming it. During that hassle I heard the younger of the […] two guys say, "My father-in-law just peed in his pants." He had been holding it in while they drove to the Rodeway Inn. But my plastic key card worked fine the first time. The only negative thing I remember from my stay here two nights ago, and I admit it is very minor, is that the door to the toilet / shower didn't stay closed. I stayed at the hotel alone so it didn't matter to me. I couldn't hear any traffic noise in my room on the third floor, and that was nice. Mehr
