We stayed here for 4 nights and were very happy overall. We found it to be an excellent location- there are buses running to Kyoto station from out the front of the hotel, and it is a short walk to a number of temples and Gion. It's a very pleasant and great stay! Clean and Tidy! It's not very convenient although a bus stop to Tokyo station just outside the hotel! It is in the middle of the main MTR station

Good location: It only costs Yen 1200 from Kansai airport to 河源町 station in kyoto and it takes around 10 minutes by walk to get the hotel from the station. The only problem is you need to write down the characters for the hotel name and show japanese, they can direct you to the hotel. They don't know the english name showed on this website.

We have stayed many tomes at the Sun Route and have had no complaints. They furnish everything you might need if you decide to spend that unschudled, impulsive night in Kyoto. There are a number of buses that pass by originating at the train station and taking you back to the station. Breakfast can be had at the top floor (buffet style) or, less expensively, […] at the street level lunch counter. The hotel is centrally located and easy to travel to all main attractions by bus, and you can also buy the bus day pass directly from the front desk. The staff was very helpful in assisting us to make dinner reservation. Will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend to friends.

Sunroute Kyoto Hotel - convenient locations to main sight seeing. Helpful front desk with maps showing you how to go to main sights from the hotel. The hotel room is comfortable & clean, although not new or luxury. Overall, value for money.

Wonderful little hotel, great location for walking or for the excellent Kyoto bus system which we also used. Staff were very helpful and polite. Rooms a little small esp the bathrooms but its Japan, right, and for the price in this location it was perfect.

Excellent hotel and in a perfect location for exploring the Gion, Kiyamichi, Yasaka Jinja, and Kiyomizudera areas. The room was excellent and the staff was very pleasant. I highly recommend it.

I stayed for two nights with my friend and I definetely recommend it. The rooms are small and the bathroom extremely small, but everything is clean and comfy.

It's clean and convinent. Totally it's very good.

Servcie is good, and the room is small, but it's clean. The location is convinent for travellers.

Although the room is a bit small, but its enough for us. Its a deal considering the price they charged. The hotel staff can speak pretty good English and very accommodating and polite. I wish we had booked the entire stay here instead of just one night.

This is the first time I have visited Japan and Kyoto. Arrived at Kyoto Station by Shinkansen(bullet train) and my group of 4 took a taxi to the hotel. The ride took 5 minutes and cost 800 yen(about S$13.50). As expected the rooms were small but very clean and well-designed so that we were actually quite comfortable. Only complain about the room is […] that we could only get one English channel on TV (CNN). Every other channel was Japanese. Anyway I didn't come to Japan to watch TV. Since it was too early to check-in, the hotel reception gave us directions to wlak downtown which was only 5 minutes away and it was a very vibrant area. Suggested sight-seeing spots to me, and also taught me the route. It is impressive for me to the good service of front desk.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station and Gion. The staff speaks very little English but is very helpful and friendly. The room was a bit of a shocker: small, no proper window and looks very dated. The room was clean apart from the bath tub, where we found pubic hair - not nice! Anyway, the hotel is ok for one night...

We spent an enjoyable 6 nights at Hotel Sunroute. The room, although basic, was very clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance to the Gion district and the subway stop Gojo Station. We loved walking along the river and surrounding neighborhood. It was also close to a wonderful market. The only negative part was that the hotel restaurant […] and cafe had terrible food. My husband and I stayed in a semi-double room and had a very nice time. The bed was small, but comfortable. For a couple, I might recommend paying for a full double or larger because the size of the rooms and beds are very small in comparison to what we are used to. The rooms were clean and the hotel has a nice location. There was a bike rental shop […] 2 blocks south of the hotel that was cheap and you could get almost anywhere in Kyoto. It was very convenient. We seemed to be close to downtown, with a few bars in the area. Overall the hotel was very nice. Look closely for the sign!! We walked right past it at first. Mehr

The Hotel lacks services that can improve the stay. A gymnasium, English newspapers, more info on Kyoto and What's On. The facilities are cramped.

Clean, nice spacious room (comfy beds !), very friendly efficient staff - but hotel is far from Kyoto station, so taxi fare is expensive. Overall a very positive, enjoyable stay.

Slightly dated hotel with quite small rooms with not much space to move around if you have a medium sized trolley but this is a japan-wide thing as rooms are generally compact. Also, hotel could do with a sign in English at the front of the building maybe to help spot it! The hotel is within walkiing distance (15 minutes) from Kyoto train station. […] Also, the metro station is about 10 minutes away as is the shopping area. Imperial palace is also about half an hour's walk with good bus, train and metro links for all sights. The cafe near the hotel entrance is also very good and has good breakfast deals. Great hotel! Room was very small but just right for us. We had a semi-double room. The very comfortable bed was tucked by the window. The location wasn't too great, as it was one stop away from Kyoto station not by JR but by another line, and not very close to main attractions. It is close to a good "downtown" sort of street. Cafe on the first floor […] had great bread but not much else. Bus stop just outside the hotel. Sold all-day bus passes at the reception desk, which I recommend. Mehr

The room and the bathroom were a little small, but very clean, well kept, there's free internet in the lobby, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended!

他のお客さんのレビューを読んで、よさそうなのでここに決めましたが、正解でした。フロント、1階のカフェ、10階のイタリアンレストランのスタッフの皆さんが親切でてきぱきとして、とても感じが良かったです。 立地も良くて、歩いて10分弱で阪急河原町だし、ホテルの前にバス停があるし、地理に暗い観光客にとってはとても助かる便利な場所でした。 部屋はツインベッドが入っているので少し狭いかなと思いましたが、椅子も二つ用意されていたので良かったです。 浴室もちょっと狭めだけど、この値段でこの設備なら十分許容範囲だと思いました。 夜は疲れ果てて外に食事に行く気力が残っていなかったのでしかたなく10階のイタリアンレストランへ行ったのですが、これも思いがけず大正解でした。 前菜二つとパスタとグラスワインをいただき […] ましたが、どれもおいしく、窓の外の夜景とともに堪能しました。割引券を下さったので思いのほか安くつき、友人とともに大満足でした。おいしくって雰囲気も良くて安くて、とても得した気分でした。 　寝巻もグレーのモダンなデザインで、少しタイトなので裾がまくれ上がってこず、快適に眠ることが出来ました。 京都に来ることがあったらまた泊まりたいです。 Mehr

洗面、バス、トイレが非常に清潔である。室内が過度な飾りもなくシンプルで清潔であり、落ち着いた時間を過ごすことができる。

딸과 둘이서 세미더블로 2박을 했는데 객실과 침대사이즈, 욕조크기까지 예상외로 커서 쾌적하게 지낼 수 있었다. 방마다 있는 공기청정기도 마음에 들었고. 직원들도 친절했다. 다만 jr선 교토역이나 한큐선에서 내려 걸어서 찾아가기에는 부담스러운 거리에 있다. 주변에 괜찮은 식당도 발견 못했고. 편의점은 가까이에 있다. 여러가지 면을 고려해도 다음에 교토에 가면 꼭 다시 묵고 싶은 호텔이다.

房間乾淨舒適，飯店門口就有市公車站牌，交通非常方便。離0101百貨及大葉高島屋百貨距離，走路只須10分鐘。清水寺也可徒步前往(約15分鐘)。是間非常推薦的飯店。

細心且溫暖的服務 雖然沒有訂到無菸房 但是房間還是很乾淨無異味 燒水的迷你電磁爐很方便 距離景點(三四條、清水寺、八坂神社、祇園等)很近 飯店門口就有公車站牌，對於常常需要以公車往返的京都之旅而言很便利

年末年始を京都で過ごそうと思い立ち予約しました。 基本的にはビジネスホテルのカテゴリーに近いかと思いますが、結構快適に過ごせました。 部屋はやや狭いですが、設備も完備されておりＣＰは高いと思います。 なにより四条川原町まで10分以内で歩いて行けるのは便利。さらにまん前にバス停があり観光に便利に利用させてもらいました。 ただビジネス系の悲しさか・・・館内のレストランがイマイチ。規模的には仕方ないですがね・・・ 個人的には、気楽に利用できる便利なホテルとしてまた使いたいと思っています。

翌日の場所に近い所で探していたので、とてもラッキーだった。またチェックアウトが１１時なので、今回は部屋で仕事が出来、良かった。 　何より、ベッドがセミダブルでゆっくりと休めた。全体的には清潔度、など仕事だったので、満足している。が、その分、浴槽が狭く、外人の方は困るだろうな、と思う位小さかった。 　中で食事をしていないのでそちらの関係は分からないが、それぞれの目的でホテルを選ぶので、良いのではないかと思った。感謝！

京都へ行くときは、いつもサンルート京都を利用させていただいております。 良心的なお値段、無駄のないサービス、バス停目の前とすっごくお勧めのホテルです。 そしてなんといっても、私が一番大好きな焼肉屋さんの目と鼻の先だから！！！（笑） ホテルと合わせて、こちらにも是非行って頂きたいです！！

ホテルサンルート京都に一泊でしたが、口コミの良い評価以上のホテルで大変満足のいく滞在ができました。 交通の便も良く、２日間バス地下鉄フリーチケットを購入し、北は大原三千院から西は嵐山まで、主な観光スポットを訪れることができ、思い出に残る旅ができました。 部屋はセミダブル（１２０ｃｍ）で、予約当初は夫婦二人には窮屈かとも思いましたが、部屋に設置されたソファが身長１８０ｃｍの私にも余裕の簡易ベッドに変わるもので、大変快適でした。 紅葉シーズン直前でしたが、料金はかなりリーズナブルでしたので、ぜひまたお世話になりたいと思っています。

京都太陽道酒店 (Sunroute Hotel Kyoto) 走路15分鐘左右可以走到先斗町,四通河原町非常方便,飯店門口也有公車站,對面也有.飯店的人員很親切解說地圖並協助餐廳訂位.非常的感動.飯店房內有飯店特別製作的餐廳介紹本及旅遊觀光景點介紹及詳細的交通搭乘方式.非常的用心,又方便,下次再去京都一定會再次入住京都太陽道酒店 (Sunroute Hotel Kyoto).

all the factors are recommandable except the customers requirement. we could not have the river view room after the 3 months ago reservation in advance. how early can we reserve the view room ? half-year in advance ?

Pedimos una habitación doble, sin más. Y al llegar allí nos encontramos con una habitación minúscula con una cama de 1,20. Después de reclamar (2 veces) conseguimos que nos cambiaran a una habitación con una cama de 1,60, eso sí, pagando la diferencia. El hotel no está mal. No está excesivamente limpio, pero es aceptable. La situación es muy buena y […] los alrededores bonitos. Eso si, pedid habitación grande!!! Aseguraros bien de las medidas de la cama... no os llevéis un susto al llegar! Mehr

　喫煙室しか空いていませんでしたが、空気清浄機があり、あまり気になりませんでした。 　嬉しかったのは、チェックインしている間に、何も告げず、わざわざ消臭剤を散布して下さっていたことです。 　そういう何気ない心遣いができるところに、このホテルの素晴らしさを感じました。 　京都に泊まる時は、是非また利用させていただきたいと思っています。 　ありがとうございました。
