Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague - Prag

We booked three rooms for mid April and we all had a fabulous time. The hotel is located in the middle of everything. It is relatively new so it feels extremely clean and technologically advanced. Will stay again if I return to Prague.

I was simply perplexed with the quality of the hotel and, more importantly, the attentiveness of the hotel staff. My girlfriend and I had to catch a flight early in the morning and checked out at 5 am. Even though breakfast hours started at 6:30, the front desk associate arranged boxes with full breakfast items we had requested the night before. Genuinely fun and helpful staff. Good touches (cocktail on arrival). The hotel is well decked out with a bose sound system, good bathrooms. Nice for a couples weekend break. Slick but not too slick that you feel rinsed for cash at every turn.

This hotel is exclusive with kind persons inside. This was my second visit. The first time I forgot my Hugo-Boss suite in the hotel and realized it after two months. The hotel found my suite! I would like to recommend this hotel.

Quality decor and immaculate service. This boutique hotel is a class above most high end commercial chain hotel. An excellent choice for those who loves the finer things in life. You can't go wrong with this place.

What a wonderful hotel experience! The location is perfect and the staff were friendly, helpful and kind. They offer you complimentary drinks when you check-in (which are taken to your room) and each day they bring you chocolates and a little snack to your room. The halls have a slight incense smell, and you have a very zen/peaceful feel throughout […] the hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated and you can play the beautiful music they have programmed in the flat screened television. By chance, if you happend to arrive in Prague via the train (and if you arrive late at night) I highly recommend having the hotel arrange for a car to pick you up from the train station, as there are few taxis at the train station waiting in the evening. I had emailed the hotel to set this up for me in advance, and this worked out nicely when we arrived. Mehr

It was a wonderful stay at Buddha Bar hotel. We stayed at a standard room and were very pleased with the service and room from the beginning. When we checked in, we were told that we could go to the Siddhartha Cafe and get our complimentary welcome cocktails. Then a representative escorted us to the room and explained the service, the room workings, […] and all the amenities. The room was very spacious. A king size bed, large television that also played the radio. Huge closet space and a big mini-bar (two fridges), and a fancy espresso maker with complimentary espresso (which was necessary one morning when we checked out at dawn). There was also a very large desk and of course the two chairs and coffee table. There was also a small foyer area in the room and a stand that contained mints and fruit. There was a roomy toilet room that had a toilet and sink. The wash room was very large. Two sinks, a shower, and a really large tub that stood on 4 legs (loved that). Toiletries were L'Occitane. And there was also a television in the bathroom facing the tub. One thing I do enjoy about Buddha Bar is that there are really wacky fixings. There were tons of switches, dimmers, mechanical curtains, etc. Also, the room was romantic with asian-style lamps hanging from the high ceiling, vases on stands, and writing kits left on desks and night stands. One thing is that we didn't get a wake up call one morning! Also, this is a very minor complaint, but the shower has three glass walls but not a forth. I wish they'd install a door because even though I tried to be careful, water splashed out. Of course I'd recommend the food at Buddha Bar restaurant. However, I'm a bit hesitant for Siddhartha Cafe. I went there for breakfast two times. The pastries were delicious and the service impeccable, but I felt the main breakfast meals themselves were mediocre. I recommend this hotel. Hotel is wonderful; interiors are very nice,rooms are large and well appointed with some very unique features you will not find in any other hotel, staff is incredibly helpful. It was however very empty which is unusual for a property of this high standard (5 star). The location could not be better. We did not use the Spa, so I cannot comment there. An overall outstanding experience. I don't have a bad thing to say.

Buddha Bar is the sort of place one seeks out when they share a unique interest in the sort of the place that takes it aesthetics, customer relations, but most of all hand-picked selection of ambient global grooves to that unprecedented place of a mind, body and soul rapture. My main motivation for selecting this venue was because of the tunes, and […] I thoroughly enjoyed the state of the art sound system set up throughout the entire room. The lobby was always courteous, respectful, and accommodating at even the twilight hours of the night. While, I did have a few minor discrepancies, it was the staff's prompt response in correcting them that really demonstrated their commitment to excellence. THIS HOTEL IS A MUST!! Mehr

Vi hadde et flott opphold i Premier room. Beliggenheten er fantastisk - gå distanse til alt. L'occitane toalettartikler og velfylt minibar. Eneste negative: Roomservice tok feil av en bestilling og hotellet glemte å reservere et restaurantbord. Anbefaler å bestille hotelbil fra og til flyplassen - veldig behagelig.

Buddha-bar hotel is the perfect place for your well-deserved escape to Prague. Situated right in the heart of the city, I booked this unique hotel as I wanted to be sure of a luxurious, relaxing time with my wife whilst taking in the best that Prague can offer. And we were not disappointed. Yes, the BBH is not cheap, but you get what you pay for and […] I'd always rather pay a bit more and be guaranteed a great time than taking an alternative 5* hotel, slightly cheaper, but not quite knowing what you'll get. From the greeting on arrival to the amazing rooms, everything about the Buddha-bar hotel is consistently high quality. The rooms are to die for, with enormous, ultra-comfy bed, moody lighting, luxury bathroom, great quality of finish and gadgets galore. Never quite worked out all the light switches, but that added to the experience rather than being annoying. Breakfast was good, but not great, but that did nothing to take away from the overall experience. This exotic boutique hotel is located just a few steps away from the Old Town Square, on a quiet side street, which is perfect for a tourist. Hotel has a mysterious atmosphere and the oriental spirit is imprinted in all the details starting from the lobby and continuing all through the hotel to the guest rooms. I thought this concept was really nice […] and refreshing in the middle of old Europe. Our room was situated on the top floor and it featured ceiling windows, big buddha statue in a corner of the bedroom, deep colors of red, dark brown and black etc. This hotel is all about modern technology - special electronic lock on the door, completely motorized windows with blinds, Bang & Olufsen TV, remote controlled sound system with several speakers on the ceiling and advanced lighting system. We liked it a LOT, but as always with new technology it took some time to get acquaintance with all that hi tech. Complimentary wi-fi was included, like every 5* hotel should have but yet so many charge for it, and snack with chocolate was brought to the room daily. The staff was friendly and helpfull. Fitness centre was extremely small so didn't actually use it, but you could have a run there on a treadmill. The only small minus was the breakfast. Like others have already pointed out, there is no buffet breakfast but instead you get to choose one breakfast out of 2 options and also one warm drink and one cold. A bread basket with some pastries follows. So no fresh veggies or fruits what so ever, which to us are a must. Then again you do avoid over eating this way, but some greens would be desired. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We appreciated the details a lot, most of them being very costly to execute and therefore you often don't see such standard in a hotel. We recommend this hotel to all with some hunger for exoticism and high standard. Mehr
