Very nice and comfortable hotel.

It was good, right along the bus route. Was disappointed about the directions for the bus from the airport.Staff very nice. Room always clean.

Walking distance to food and entertainment.

I was scheduled to perform at the Kimo and had my partner check-in with ALL documents. The front desk employee refused to speak to him, nor check him in, NOR speak to me. I can understand verifying information and following policies, however, it was extremely rude to refuse any verbal conversation. She appeared irate at having any communication and […] tried to justify her actions by pointing to the "Check ID" policy. That being said, on my confirmation the only requirements were "Gov't ID and CC." Overall, it was very poor customer service...would not recommend it to anyone. Mehr

Depite poor reception w/ no people skills, and very little curb appeal, my room was very pleasant and cozy. My room/bathroom had just been renovated. A flat screen TV was a nice touch. They do provide continental breakfast but is minimal. It is conveniently located on main bus route for those who don't have car and very close to downtown. Not too many […] restaurants located nearby. The hotel seems to be located in a grey area where most activity food & fun is located East of highway and West downtown. East by the U of New Mexico is a great place to start. **However, it was a nice stay and certainly great value for the $. **They do have to work on their reception skills though. fine motel for a resonable price

Road noise - I didn't care for the road noise, especially on a weekend. Central was busy and did not sleep well. Hotel was clean. No wired internet service as was told there was. Okay facility.

This hotel was clean and good value for the rate we paid. The surrounding location is not ideal but there are a couple of good places to eat within walking distance and you can catch a bus not far up from the hotel to the old town which is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. The check in room smells dirty - did not get off to a good start. Front desk woman totally unhelpful with bus schedule, and atm info, plus our room wasn't ready at 5pm. There is no parking if you get in late - we had to parked in handicapped area , not knowing where else to park in the city. The pool hrs. are short and the pool was locked, thus making […] for another trip to the front desk. Rotten bananas in the breakfast area. Towels were not replaced after the 1st night. Cramped quarters in room w/2 queen beds. We needed the fridge and micro so booked here, but I can tell you, if you dont need that, go stay at the Days Inn on Menaul - friendly staff, heated pool and lots of ice. I disliked this place very much - could not wait to leave. Not worth the extra money and aggravation for just a micro and fridge. I would like to say one positive - the bed was comfortable. Mehr

Great hotel for the price. The rooms are very nice and look exactly like the pictures. They also had a separate office/ living room area As far as the area is it not bad at all. there is a lot to see and do within a short walk of the hotel. My only complaint is that the parking lot is a little too small.

Lovely owners and newly renovated rooms. If you catch the workmen there they will carry your bags up the stairs! Breakfast was a joke, but the hotel was near a group of lovely restaurants. Great on a budget.

The room was ok, a little small for a king size bed., but had everything needed to survive. The only real problem was it was a no smoking room with the smoking area right in front of the door. We had people standing around outside our window all night smoking, sometimes till 3:00 in the morning. The A/C did not work the first night, but I checked the […] filter, it had not been cleaned in a long time, after I cleaned it out the A/C work great. Mehr

The staff was unattentive and rude. I couldn't get anyone to provide me with basic directions or maps of the area. The room was clean but dim and depressing. I would not stay there again, as there are many other inexpensive motels on the same street.

There were lots of bums and other people wandering on the street outside the motel most of the night. Not a good neighborhood. Didn't feel safe.

Counter person was not very friendly. The room, for four people, was very small and the beds felt like double beds, not queens. Room wasn't vacuumed before we checked in and next day it wasn't vacuumed again and the beds weren't made. We had to call to get them made and room vacuumed. Wasn't very happy with breakfast. Had to wait for coffee to be made […] and then brewed. Drank juice instead because we had to leave before it was done.The area of hotel looked like it was in the older part of town. was not comfortable to set and relax

I'm not sure which hotel this used to be, but it's been completely redone inside and the rooms, although a bit small, are quite nice. Beds are newish, bathrooms are nice and my entire party was quite happy. The enighborhood looks worse than it is. There has been a lot of work in downtown and surroundings to improve the area, and the work contiues. The […] burgers-and-fish place catty-corner to the hotel has been empty for years and needs to go, but it's not a big deal. Close to downtown and right on Route 66. I paid quite a bit for the rooms, but it was during balloon fiesta and it was still cheaper than most places. I think ordinarily the rooms will be quite a bit less and would stay herre again if this is true. Mehr
