Light bulb burned out in bathroom upon arrival. Holes in towels and shower curtain was badly torn. Waffle maker out of service. Sign saying some foods were out of stock due to high occupancy. Guess they don't expect to rent rooms. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful.

sure would have liked a mini fridge in my room

Very close to Napa and very clean rooms. Friendly staff and great breakfast. If traffic noise bothers you, ask them to put you away from the highway ahead of time.

I stayed at this location last year, and specifically wanted to stay there again in 2012. I was very satisfied again with the room, the comfortable bed, and cleanliness. Thie Holiday Inn Express & Suites will be my first choice for a repeat visit to Napa!

We chose this hotel to be close to Napa but also close to ferry at vallejo so we could get to San Franciso. (That was a great way to see SF without getting killed in traffic!!) The hotel met all our needs although we thought that all king bed rooms had fridge and microwave. We were disappointed to learn that was not the case. Staff were great and took […] great care of us. Reasonable rate, good location, excellent complementary breakfast, nice room with free internet. I would definitely stay there again.

This is pretty much just like every other Holiday Inn Express - nothing special, but the rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and the free breakfast is good. This hotel is located in a town about 10 minutes from Napa and is priced much lower than most of the B & Bs and hotels directly in Napa. The only real problem I had with the place was that the surrounding […] area was not great - it's essentially next to a Walmart - and there aren't many restaurants around. However, as I mentioned, Napa is close by and has many fantastic restaurants to offer. Mehr

The heater/air conditioner was so loud I had to turn it off.

Reasonable rate, great customer service from front desk staff at my check-in, inside hotel was very clean, our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very responsive. Locaction with a food court and a Walmart close by made it easy for the business traveler. Our stay also included pets and the park across the street was a great location to walk.

Because the price was low, we were not expecting much, but this place is amazing. The breakfast was complimentary as was parking and it's on the same road as the napa wineries (but still 20 min away from them, so don't go on too many wine tours before going back to the hotel). This hotel was great. We spent our days in Napa and spent the nights here. There were many restaurants located nearby and even shopping areas. We used every amentity the hotel had to offer. We used the heated pool, the hot tub and the gym. The breakfast buffet changed daily. I would definitely stay there again

Had an excellent stay at this hotel (first time at a Holiday Inn Express). We were a bit early but Tyler at the front desk went out of his way to accomodate us and even provided us with a room facing the hills and not the highway (grateful for other reviews that suggested we request a view of the hills). Accomodations were very well kept, clean and […] comfortable. Staff was really nice and helpful. The location was great and the proximity to Napa was great as well. One of the best hotel experiences we've had...we'd definitely go back and will put Holiday Inn Express at the top of our list. The price was right and totally worth it...much less than some iffy looking places in Napa. One last point...we locked the keys to our rental car in the car in the parking lot and Tyler did all the calling and had a locksmith out in less than an hour. We're fans. Mehr

I had to go to a hotel near Napa because my daughter had emergency surgery. This hotel was only 4 miles from Kaiser, Vallejo and reasonable compared to others. Because of the nature of my trip I spent very little time in my room and tried to sleep. The walls are apparently very thin and the doors very heavy and apparently difficult to just close, one […] must slam them...all night. Mehr

Hotel was very convenient, clean, safe, with acceptable amenities. VERY slow Internet connection through the free wireless connection. Breakfast was okay. Starbucks, Jamba Juice and Wal-Mart within walking distance. We went for leisure and enjoyed activities in both Sonoma and Napa valley. This was a great place to use as a home front. Very nice room and convenient for us to get to Napa. The only thing that I would have liked to have would have been a small refrigerator in the room. The breakfast was quite good.

I know American Canyon is not Napa, and is even farther from the actual Wine Country, but planned on staying at this hotel for the price and the amenities. I never expected to be in Wine Country, so I will not knock this hotel because of its location to Wine Country. The hotel was very nice and very clean. Our room was awesome, and the front desk concierge […] made sure I had a 3rd floor park-view room when I asked for it. The comforts of the room were great! Loved the bed and the 2 different pillows (different firmness). The bathroom was clean and the towels and toiletries were great. I would (and will) totally stay here again. I wish I could find a place of this quality and price closer to Wine Country, but can manage driving to American Canyon for this quality stay while visiting Wine Country. The 12:00 noon check out was great. I have stayed at so many hotels with a 10:00 or 11:00 check-out, and feel so rushed. Thank you for the 12:00 check out, the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms, and the great continental breakfast! Definitely coming back! Mehr

Very clean good beds

Breakfast could have been better...the eggs were powdered, bacon not "real". No clock in room, kleenex not replaced. Staff very helpful and nice though

Terrible noise from the aircondition unit in the room. Shut it down and opened the window, then had to listen to the noise from the main road outside. Apart from the noise: Good hotel.

I have paid more for rooms I liked less. The staff was courteous and informative about where things were located. The advice about visiting vineyards was extremely useful during our stay. The only thing I would have done differently was to ask for a third floor room.

Overall great hotel. Only issue was with the breakfast-since I can't eat anything with wheat MOST of the food was off limits (pastries, pancakes, cereal, bagels, etc.). If they could at least provide Corn Flakes instead of Frosted Flakes I would not have had a issue. Great friendly staff. Easy to get to location.

The hotel was 15 minutes drive from center of Napa, it was conveniently located on the highway. Front desk was very nice and smiley, room was clean and the hotel overall was well maintained.

A great place to stay. The only negative was that the airconditioning in the room was so loud that it made sleeping at night impossible, so we turned it off and the room got a little hot. Overall we were very impressed and would certainly stay at the hotel again.

Great place to stay! It was a little bit of a drive (about 15 minutes) to Napa and to Sonoma, but that hardly mattered. The guest relations were fantastic! They rushed shaving cream up to my room when I realized I forgot mine. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable.
