Lage vom Hotel TOP. Sehr Zentral gelegen.
"Review"
My daughter and two teenage grandchildren stayed in a room for four. They had two twin beds set up in a semi separate area from the queen sized bed. The room was very comfortable for all of us. Our room was over a less used street and not the main street with the bars. It was very quiet and we all slelpt comfortably. The bathroom was large and modern. […] The room was very clean. The reason we booked the room was the location and it was perfect. We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Casanova. Mehr

"Short visit in Venice"
If you like for any reason or you must stay in Venice, district is quite different from other towns. In that case choosing hotel located in centrum will help to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. If you must travel between surrounding towns and Venice island then hotel near north part (near bus / railway stations) would be quicker to start / come […] back, eg. in business trips. Hotel Casanova very near San Macro's remarkable buildings, reached by water buses, is more better choise the more time you have, so when you are in holiday etc. Mehr
"Once is enough"
The hotel was a 1 minute walk to the Water taxi and the square. It was convenient, but I wasn't a fan of the hotel room itself. I don't mind old and outdated but the the bedding can be better - that is one easy fix for old hotels. The bathroom shower was broke and had gross soap scum and moldy grout. Venice is small enough that with a short walk we […] could have had a better hotel not in San Marcos I am glad that I went to Venice but don't think I will return. Venice is a tourist trap and too expensive for what you get. Food is terrible compared to the rest of Italy. Mehr

"hotel casanova venice"
best hotel i have stayed in venice for this price. great central location. love venice no where like it.. came home and watched the tourist that night to remind me of a beautiful place with a beautiful lady. took my lady for her first visit she fell in love again with her harvey.x
"Perfect Location at Hotel Casanova"
This hotel was beautiful and in the perfect spot. The beds were comfortable and clean. The fridge did not work however.
"What a location!!"
We chose Hotel Casanova for its location and it was PERFECT. Both teenage daughters (13 and 15) were able to walk alone during day and evening time, since it was so easy to find back to hotel. Italian mattresses are somewhat hard for American taste, but that did not bother us. and yes, in Venice you can find 3 spots of mold in bathroom, normal for Venice... Hotel […] is however quite clean and we would recommend this hotel to budget minded travellers, who want to be 38 seconds away from St. Marcos square. We will be back, and same place for sure. Mehr
"Great location but needs attitude upgrade"
Great location only 1 minute from St Marks Square but they need to have a friendlier attitude, particularly the breakfast staff. Only sweet pastries are supplied in their continental breakfast and if you dare ask for a bowl to eat your own packet of cereal then you can expect an embarrassing confrontation.
"Cnetral location!"
The hotel was smak dab in teh middle of everything, from San Marco Square and the Grand Canal. The hotel was a bit older, but the staff was friendly, the breakfast was tasty, and there was free wi-fi in the lobby.
"Hotel Casanova in Venece"
Good hotel, service and excelent location. No complains.
"Casanova Hotel Venice....San Marco"
Hotel was in great shopping area next to Saint Marc Plaza. Front desk people very friendly and knowledgable of surrounding area. Will stay here on next trip to Venice.
"Good place to stay in Venice"
The price is a little higher but it provides wireless and breakfast, and the most attractive thing is that it is in the center of venice. Very convenient.
VERY OLD, AND THE MOST EXPENSIVE HOTEL WE STAYED IN. FOR THE PRICE WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED.
"Great Location - Room was Awful!"
To start with a positive, the location was great - just a short walk to the vaporetto and the Square. The morning breakfast was adequate - I just wish I didn't feel like I was putting the hostess out when she had to serve me. Now onto the room... I was VERY disappointed in the room but tried to look on the bright side - I would only be in the room to […] sleep. But the beds and the noise made sure sleep didn't happen. The room was extremely dated and nothing seemed to work. They had a mini-fridge which I liked to call the room temperature box - nothing inside was cold. The bathrooms were the worst - one tiny, dirty shower stall where the shower nozzle just hung (the clasp was broken) and had only 3 low pressure streams of water coming out. You had to hold it otherwise it would spray everywhere. It was like bathing in a water fountain. The shower didn't drain fast so you were always in a puddle of water. They say hair dryer in room but it was like a vacuum nozzle and my sister could blow on my hair and have it dry faster. They gave us one roll of TP and that's it for 2 nights, 3 days. The sink faucet wouldn't turn off so we heard the drip all night. The webpage says every room has a sofa bed, bidet and shower/bath combination - that's not true. Mine didn't have any of those. And the final insult - bugs in the room. Needless to say I was very disappointed and will not be returning to this hotel. Mehr
"Good news/bad news are the same"
Good news: this hotel is 30 seconds from Piazza San Marco Bad news: this hotel is 30 seconds from Piazza San Marco. Very noisy street tll close to midnight (we were on the 2nd floor), no way to really block out the sound. The bed and pillows were hard as rocks. We didn't notice the extra pillows in the cabinet until the morning, but they were rocks, […] too. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE BED. Luckily we were only there one night. 1000 TV channels - all in Italian. Nice fee breakfast included. Free wi-fi - but only in the lobby. Clerk behind the counter was a bit gruff and rude to our repeated questions (sorry, we just didn't understand what you said!) However, it's location made it super easy to get to and from Piazza San Marco or the water bus. Good price as well, but I would not stay there again. Mehr
"Casanova-Location, location, location!"
Right off the square! Very friendly staff. large clean room. A/c worked well. Nice continental breakfast.
"Hotel Casanova in Venice"
The hotel personell was very helpful. The hotel is very centric and you get a bang for your buck.
"The hotel Cassanova"
This was the perfect hotel for my stay. It is 120 meters from the Vaporetto, 100 meters to Paizza San Marco and the post office is just behind the hotel. PostItaliia, is the best best place to exchange currency. THe rate is the highest and up to USD1000 has a fixed comission of EUR 2.58. If you are a late sleeper request a room at the rear as front […] rooms have a bit of street noise. The dek clerks were very helpful. Airconditioning was very good and the elevator ( lift ) a bonus when handling baggage. Not all Vence hotels have them. Mehr
"Hotel Casanova"
Excelent location
"Hotel Cassanova Venice Italy"
A fabulously easy and central location. 100m from the St Marks vaporetto stop , remarkably easy to find! It was the central location that made this hotel. But I think it was expensive. If you are travelling on a buget (like I was) I suspect you could find equally good places further out, as Venice is small and walkable the central location may not be […] a real consideration. Mehr

"Superb location"
This is a relatively low cost hotel for Venice and extremely low cost for being so close to Piazza San Marcos. While the rooms seem old, it's in line with most hotels in Venice with the exception of the very expensive ones. The service was adequate, but I would've preferred slightly more friendly staff. Overall, I don't really have any complaints and […] would recommend it to friends and family. Mehr
"Bad experience ruined beginning of vacation"
The hotel is dingy, dismal, dirty and depressing. Booked it online on short notice when we added an extra night at the beginning of our stay in Venice; we chose it based on location- close to San Marco Square- and star rating. Disgusting experience ruined the first night of a vacation in Venice- luckily we had better hotels booked for the rest of the […] stay. Mehr

"not a hotel but on a nice location, uncomfortable"
the location is super right near the most important plaza, also easy to find coming from boat station, according to a paper that was in the room the type of the establishment was not a hotel was something different maybe an inn or something like this, on bad side in the rooms the "bed" was made out of 2 beds witch was very uncomfortable to sleep as […] a couple. the bathroom was clean but pretty old and not in the best shape. Mehr
"Very Close to Piazza San Marco but...."
Yes it has a great location, but is certainly not a 4 star as stated on the building. The rooms and bathrooms are old...70s old. Bottom line overpriced and far to aged to for the price you pay.
"great place"
we loved staying at Hotel Casanova.....great service. best of all is the location. I got a chance to get up early and walk along the grand canal..wonderful experience.
"Great Hotel"
We loved the Casanova hotel. It was SO close to St. Mark's Square. Also near Harry's bar and shopping district. The hotel staff is very helpful.
"hotel casanova in venice,italy"
This hotel was in great location few feet from st. marks sqare. Staff were great! Only dissappointment was our bed was two twin beds pushed together. Very uncomfortable for a couple. Great location! Great service! Wonderful staff.
"Casanova Hotel in Venice"
The location of the hotel was perfect in San Marco...the bed is good and room was very clean...staff are very helpful but just at night, it may be noisy as it is just opposite to a cafe....
"Hotel Casanova, Venice - breakfast"
Although the hotel was very conveniene for St. Mark's Square and the Vaporetto, the rooms were ok and the reception staff excellent, the breakfasts were simply not acceptable at a 4-star hotel. A dry croissant, roll and yoghurt simply doesn't cut it
"best kept secret in Venice"
this little gem, close to just about everything, was a God sent for our first trip to Venice. I can guarantee that I'll be going back to Venice and will be staying in the Casanova again.
"The Hotel Casanova in Venize - close to everything"
Look if you want to be in the middle of Vencie with a bar in front of you stay here. Noise and light came from our window. It was clean and for Venize at a competitive price taking into consideration that it is Venize. We check out @ 4:30 AM and the man in the front desk was terribly upset that we did not tell him the night before. I will recommend […] location, but ask to stay in a room that the window does not go to the front street YOU WILL NOT SLEEP with all the noise in the street. Mehr

"Great Location and great little hotel"
I was surprised at how close to the nicest square I went to in Italy this hotel was. It makes it a perfect romantic location in this very romantic city.
"Venice Hotel Casanova"
This was a perfect location from all the sites - close to the boats but not too close, close to St. Marks square but not in the center. The staff was very pleasant. The journey to our room was so funny - it was an elevator ride, a walk around the 4th floor and a climb straight up steep stairs to our floor. It was a nice private room but just be aware […] you probably will be walking up steps to your room in Italy - be prepared to carry your luggage! Great help finding a restaurant from the staff. Thanks so much for the wonderful hospitality! Perfect! Mehr
"Great location"
The hotel is very well located, just a few steps from San Mark’s Basilica and near most of the action in Venice. It is a little hard to find, but once you get there everything is easy to access. The staff was ok. The room was comfortable too. I would just loved that the bathroom would be a little nicer (didn’t have much light and it didn’t feel so clean, […] if you know what I mean). Breakfast is ok, too. Mehr
"Nice Hotel"
Hotel Casanova is a fairly nice hotel in a very expensive city. It's a good value for Venice but probably not anywhere else. They have a nice staff and a excellent location. But its a little dated and had the typical hard European beds and flat pillows. They had interent access and they AC in our room worked very well. A decent breakfast was served […] as well. Mehr
"Venezian huippua!"
Suosittelen lämpimästi! Upea huone, Grand Canal ja Vaporetto-asema näkyivät ikkkunasta.
Dommage
