Nur ca. 80 m von der Metrostation Deak Ference entfernt. Großteil der Sehenswürdigkeiten von dort aus zu Fuß erreichbar. Ansonsten optimale Anbindung an Metro, Straßenbahn und Bus. Das Hotel selber kann ich jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Preis- und Leistungsverhältnis passen.

Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe der EXPO. Da wir ein Auto dabei hatten, war mfür mich der kostenlose Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel super. In anderen Hotels in BUD musste ich immer bis zu 16 EUR zahlen. Dafür ist man hier etwas abseits, jedoch in ca. 10 minuten mitten in BUD. Das Frühstücksbuffet entsprach den Erwartungen. Auswahl an Eierspeisen und Wurst war besser als im Mercure. Und das beste, hier noch alles inkl. Auf dem Dach gibt es auch noch einen WellnessBereich. Hier der Abstrich, die Sauna wurde leider erst am abend angeschaltet und der Jacuzi war leider abends um 7 immer noch auf 29 Grad. DIeser wurde zwar an diesem Tag gereinigt, doch dies hätte man auch am Vormittag machen können, so dass am Abend dieser auch zu benutzen ist! Ansonsten, tolles Hotel. Ich werde beim nächsten mal dieses wieder buchen. TIP: LH hat mir dieses Hotel schon mal angeboten, als mein Flug leider nicht zurück nach FRA starten konnte

Das Hotel hat eine Top-Lage in der Innenstadt. Das Haus ist sehr schön restauriert. Der Restaurant- Bereich ist besonders schön im alten Stil hergerichtet. Am Frühstücksbuffett ist für jeden etwas zu finden und bis zum Schluss wird alles aufgefüllt. Die Zimmer sind gut. Allerdings war der W-Lan Empfang im Anbau schlecht. Ein Netzwerkkabel gehörte auch zur Ausstattung. Der Wellness- Bereich ist sauber und gut. Alles in allem ein Super- Hotel, um die Stadt zu erkunden.

Großes, schön eingerichtetes Hotel, zwar etwas Abseits gelegen und die Umgebung ist eine einfache Wohngegend. Dennoch reizvoll direkt gegenüber der Margareteninsel und man ist schnell bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Bezahlbare Parkplätze vor dem Hotel sind ein großer Pluspunkt in Budapest.

Lage: Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs, in einer etwas ruhigeren Seitenstraße und ist relativ einfach zu finden. Die Stadt-Busse fahren fast direkt vor dem Hotel vorbei, so dass man diese wunderbar für die Fahrt in den Stadtkern nutzten kann. Die Tickets konnten wir direkt im Hotel kaufen. Hotel: Das Hotel macht schon von Außen einen sehr schönen und gepflegten Eindruck und auch der Empfangsbreich sowie die Aufzüge und Flure alles super sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Die Empfangsmitarbeiter waren sehr nett und man konnte alles auf Deutsch erledigen. Zimmer: Die Zimmer waren sauber, nur im Bad waren ein paar kleine Stellen, die noch genauer geputzt hätten werden können und die Dusche hätte von Außen eine neue Fuge benötigt. Aber die Dusche im innreren und die Amaturen waren sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Das Bett war super bequem und auch sehr schön groß! Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk war sehr schön. Das Zimmer war sehr warm, da wir die Klimaanlage nicht zum laufen gebracht haben, aber wir haben das Fenster zum Balkon geöffnet und das war dann sehr angenehm. Schwimmbad/Restaurant: Haben wir beides nicht benutzt und können dazu nichts sagen. Frühstück: Die Auswahl war umfangreich, viele frische Früchte und Müsli, verschiedene Brote, Wurst und Käse. Auch warme Speisen. Es war für jeden etwas dabei. Tiefgarage: Wir haben den Tiefgaragenplatz genutzt, weil unser Auto ziemlich neu ist. Leider ist die Abfahrt in das zweite UG ziemglich eng und steil, so dass man vorsichtig fahren bzw. sein Auto gut kennen sollte. Aber ansonsten ist die Garage sehr parktisch und sauber. Abschließend kann man sagen, ein sehr schönes Hotel, in dem wir immer wieder übernachten würden, da es uns vor allem auf die Qualität der Betten sowie die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ankommt und diese unseren doch sehr hohen Anforderungen gerecht wurden. "Top Hotel"
Klasse Hotel, leider war ich nur eine Nacht. Service, Essen und Lage passt, man ist schnell in der Stadt. Kann es echt nur weiterempfehlen. Einziger Kritikpunkt, man bekommt nur eine Zimmerkarte und wenn man eine Zweite bekommen hat, hat sie nie funktioniert. Aber sonst echt super das Hotel.

"empfehlenswertes Hotel für Städtereise"
Das Hotel ist in einem ruhigen Bezirk gelegen. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß oder bequem mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Das Zimmer und das Frühstück waren gut. Das Restaurant bietet auch eine schmackhafte Küche.

overall good,,the a/c wasn't working in the whole hotel it was very warm for this time of year we were told and the a/c wasn't turned on yet( how hard could it be to turn it on?) other than that it is a nice hotel in a great area and the staff was nice(other than the a/c part)

"Very nice hotel in a great location"
This is a comfortable hotel in a great location – the Castle area walls are across the road from the hotel. There are public transport links very close by. Hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff are very friendly. All in all, a place that could be safely recommended.

This was a great bargain. My friend and I stayed here for three days. We couldn't believe how nice it was for the amount that we paid. The location was right by the entrance to the Castle District area in Buda. It was also only a 5 minute walk to a metro stop (although it did feel a little bit longer when carrying luggage). As an FYI, the metro can't […] get you to the Castle District area. That made this location quite handy as it was in between a metro stop and the Castle District area. Everything was as advertised. Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean comfortable room. The walk to the subway station seemed a little long while carrying luggage, but other than that it was great.

The room and the building are actually very nice. With a nicer front desk staff this place would be at least a 4, but the guy that was at the front most of the time did not have the most pleasant attitude from the moment we checked in. We had just come from a hotel in Prague where we were given a map of the city and a personal orientation on check-in. […] Compare this to this guy at Castle Garden who was very abrupt and did not offer any information nor greeted us when we came in and out of the hotel. Also, this hotel is situated up a slight hill on the Buda side, while all the action is on the Pest side. "Free Coffee"
The hotel has free coffee in the lobby from 11 to 5. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is professional. The hotel is on a one-way street that drove our GPS crazy, but once there, it was a quick walk to the castle area in Budapest. As it was a weekend, we parked for free at the parking lot across the street. They do have paid underground parking. […] None of the restaurants in the Castle area would take credit cards so we ate our evening meals at the hotel and put it on our room charges The meals were excellent and reasonably priced for the area....although I could have eaten more. Very helpful staff. Contemporary small room. Nice size bathroom . WiFi didn't work in the room only in the lobby. On top of the hill so have to go up to get to hotel - workout for some. Might be challenging to get to it by car bcs of Buda castle . Easiest access from Moscow square. Nice to be able to walk to Buda castle anytime day and night. stayed for three days in may. The hotel is a five minute walk from the gates of the old city of Budda and ten minutes from the subway station. Staff were very helpfull with any questions and seemed to want to do anything to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is on a hill so anyone with mobility issues may be cautious, though my 80 year old mother who […] walks with a cane was quite comfortable there. The restaurant gives a 25percent discount on all meals and drinks if you charge it to your room and the food was very good. Ideal location around the corner from the Buda Hilton at 1/5th the price. Five minute walk to the major sites of Buda. 10 minute walk to the Metro to Pest. Wonderful view from our room. Helpful staff.

Away from the bustling centre of Pest, this very good hotel is just outside the perimeter wall of the beautiful city of Buda. Staff were very helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable. Cant comment of the food as I went out but I was given a 20% discount voucher for the restautant. If you do venture into centre of Buda or Pest it's definitley a taxi […] back due to the steep hills. This hotel was very impressive and at a great value. The rooms were very well designed and spacious, and in my case I even had my own terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful (if you plan to take a cab however make sure to tell them to call the zonal company and not their own which charges more). The restaurant attached to the hotel was good […] and a great value after the guest discount. The breakfast was what you would expect, very adequate. The hotel's location is not very central to Budapest, but the metro station is only a 5-10 minutes walk away. The location is still amazing as the hotel is right at the Castle's Vienna gate. "Stay near a medieval castle!"
Absolutely lovely. Friendly staff, comfortable room, exquisite service and really great restaurant. Originally booked two nights, loved this hotel and completed our stay, another three nights. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Just beneath a castle and walking distance to fabulous shopping and dining. Start packing!

"Great value for a Castle District hotel."
Great location for the Castle District. It is just a block from the main entrance thru the wall up to all the attractions of the castle area. It is several blocks (up hill so those with mobility problems might want to use a cab or bus) from Moscow Square and all the shops and transit connections there. We used a weekly transit pass and were able to […] go all over Budapest without any problems. The big bonus is the restaurant in the hotel. First rate food at a modest price. The Hungarian food choices were excellent. The restaurant is worth the trip alone! And the included breakfast was just wonderful. A great value. One reminder: there are absolutely no self-service laundries in Budapest, so pack accordingly. Mehr
"Great hotel"
Hotel is located up on a hill (which is kind of annoying to walk up from the metro stop). However, the breakfast is plentiful and the rooms are very clean. The beds are comfortable. Unfortunately though most TV channels were in Hungarian.
"Good choice"
This is a very comfortable hotel and at a very reasonable price. Everything is clean and new and the location in Buda is wonderful for romantic strolls around the castle at night. Pest is a bit far but there is a close metro stop and bus 16 is also very convenient. Try the hotel restaurant, they give you a 20% discount and the food is excellent!

"Outstanding Hotel"
This is a really nice 4 star hotel. The staff really wants to please the guests. The hotel is on the Buda side of the river which is quieter. It is near Castle Hill and also the Metro station. The breakfasts were good. The staff made a special breakfast for us as we had to check-out early for travel reasons. This hotel is great!

Great location in the Castle district. Relatively close to Public Transportation. A shopping Mall near by. Good morning breakfast. Responsive service. The only down side was the Air conditioning which struggled to keep the room cool. "어부의요새 왕궁과 가까운 호텔캐슬가든"
주요관광지인 어부의요새와 왕궁과 아주 가까우면서도 교통요지인 모스크바역과도 가깝고 근처에 대형백화점인 마못도 있어서 정말 입지적으로 아주 만족스러웠던 호텔이었습니다. 그러나 그보다도 호텔의 시설과 청결도가 아주아주 대만족이었습니다. 빌레로이&바흐 세면대가 아주 좋았고 조명도 화장실이나 방 할것없이 아주 따뜻하고 밝았으며 매일매일의 청소상태도 더할나위없이 좋았습니다. 침구도 편안했고 아주 조용한 호텔이어서 숙면을 취하는게 가능했습니다. 그래서 원래 계획은 4박이었으나 추가로 4박을 더했습니다. 11시부터 5시까지 약간의 스낵과 무료커피도 아주 만족스러웠습니다. 부다페스트가 좋은 추억으로 남게 해준 호텔이었습니다.

Julkiset yhteydet toimivat hyvin; metro ja raitiovaunu lähellä ja "sukkulabussi" menee läheltä. Asiakaspalvelu hyvää ravintolassa ja aamiaisella. "Hotell Castle Garden, Budapest"
Mycket fräscht och trevligt hotell med hjälpsam personal, bra läge precis utanför slottsområdets murar. Väldigt lugnt område, inte ett endaste störande ljud. Det enda nackdelen med läget för vissa kan vara en ganska brant, ca 500 m lång, uppförsbacke från närmaste tunnelbanestation, men det går bussar upp å andra sidan. Helt ok frukostbuffé, med smörgåsmat, […] ägg, korv, bacom, frukt, grönsaker, yoghurt, mjölk, flingor, juice, kaffemaskin, mm. Aldrig någon trängsel på mornarna Badkar på rummen, i alla fall i vårt, mycket trevligt efter långa stadspromenader, väldigt fräscht badrum, stort. TV med 4-5 engelska kanaler förutom alla ungerska. Fönstren går att öppna. Bra luftkonditionering som man kan ställa in själv. Bra ljudisolering hörde inget från något annat rum en endaste gång. Det enda klagomålet är att sängarna och kuddarna var lite för hårda, men det är väl en smaksak, vi föredrar "medium". Vi reste med en 1-åring och det fanns spjälsäng på rummet när vi anlände, barnstol i restaurangen och det var aldrig några problem att ha honom med. Sammanfattningsvis ett mycket bra hotell som jag kan rekommendera till andra. Mehr

ブダの丘の城壁のウィーン門のすぐ脇にあるので、ブダ地区の観光にはとても便利。ペスト地区に行くには坂を下りて地下鉄に乗ります。行きはよいよい帰りはちょっと辛い。坂の下の広場に面してMammutっていう大ショッピングセンター（モール）があるので食料や水の調達や、お土産その他の買い物にもとても便利。 歩いてキラーイ温泉にも行きましたよ。気持ち良かった。 ホテルの設備・サービスはシンプル・イズ・ベストを旨としているようで、余計なものが一切ない代わりに、静かでアットホームに時を過ごせた。フロントの女性の一人は日本語を勉強中の学生さん。「こんにちは」「こんばんは」の他にも日本語で話しかけるととてもうれしそうにしてくれた。われわれ日本人には嬉しい宿ですね。 付属のイタリアンレストランはかなり人気があるらし […] くいつも込み合っていて、貸切パーティのこともあって行く機会が無く残念。城内にもヨサゲなレストランがたくさんあるので心配はありません。 Mehr
