Praktisch neu (Stand Juni 2010) im echt schicken modernen Design. Executive Suite (empfehlenswert) mit Whirlpool, Fernseher, Dampfdusche und sonstigen Gimmicks im großen Badezimmer. Weiterer Fernseher mit DVD, zahlreichen Beleuchtungsmöglichkeiten, gratis (!) Minibar und tollem Bett im Hauptzimmer. Super Frühstück mit viel asiatischer Auswahl, Personal […] wie immer in Taipei ausgesucht höflich. Lage eigentlich gar nicht so schlecht mit Restaurants und Supermärkten in umittelbarer Nähe. Metro Station aber zu weit weg, besser spottbilliges Taxi nehmen (2-3 Euro pro Fahrt). Alles in allem empfehlenswert und viel Spass für´s Geld, komme wieder! Mehr

Das Hotel ist top sauber und top ausgestattet. Die Zimmer werden jeden Tag top gereinigt. Wer möchte bekommt jeden Tag neue Bettwäsche. Unser Zimmer (Executive) war mit 2 Koffern etwas eng. Das Bad: TOP. Wer nicht einfach nur duschen oder baden möchte ist hier genau richtig. Sprudelbadewanne, Wellnessdusche mit Massagedüsen und Dampfbad. Der Toilettensitz […] ist beheizt und die Toilette ist mit "Unterbodenwäsche" ausgestattet. Das Personal an der Anmeldung spricht gut englisch, was in Taipeh nicht überall so ist. Die beiden nächsten Metrostationen sind ca. 10-15 Gehminuten entfernt. Uns hat das aber nichts ausgemacht. Außerdem gibt es alle 2 Stunden einen kostenfreien Fahrdienst zu einer der nächsten Metrostationen. Ein kleiner Markt ist in der Nähe. Einfaufsmöglichkeiten (Getränke, Essen, Restaurants, Massage,...) in unmittelbarer Nähe. Man kann zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit gefahrlos aus dem Hotel gehen. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls TOP. Westlich (Toast, Cornflakes, Bacon, Ei, Würste ...) und natürlich auch asiatisch. Kaffe gibts aus einem Jura Kaffeautomaten. Das Personal ist auf zack und füllt ständig nach. WLAN ging auch ohne Probleme. Zusammengefasst: Ein Hotel was wir auf jeden Fall ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen können. Mehr

Talk about 5 star feelings! After a horrible time getting into Taipei with diverted flights and bus rides... this hotel was a massively pleasant surprise! Upon walking in the door over 12 hours later and at 1am in the morning I was greeted with my name before I even made it to the desk and given empathy for my travel interruptions! The room was gorgeously […] appointed, free bottled water, chips and cookies. Amazing bathroom with 2 person jacuzzi bath and a wicked multi head shower, awesome view from the 10th floor. Super comfy bed! Reception were really pleasant and helpful especially when it came to booking us restaurant reservations. Close to bus stops and train stations, we even walked about for a bit of sight seeing. Tons of food and 7/11 stores nearby. My only issue is that it wasn't the most 'modern' of area's along one way. Tiny wee grimey alley's. So if you are expecting a 'western center' this hotel is not that. But all the otehr benefits, including cost make this an excellent place to stay. Mehr

large room, large washroom, good facility, very clean, quick check-in & chech-out, around 8-10 mins to Taipei metro.

This is a super nice hotel with a great breakfast, the only downside is the view if you pull curtains is of a pretty dilapidated building that is very close to the window.

I stayed in the Executive Suite room for 3 nights. The overall was not too bad. It was a good 10 minutes walk to the nearest Metro station. The buffet breakfast was only average standard with very limited seating place. The hotel staff were friendly and are able to converse well in English. They were also helpful in giving directions to nearby tourist […] attractions. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who do not mind about the average standard of the buffet breakfast provided by the hotel. Mehr

Location isn't the more convenient, will need to take a taxi to almost anywhere. But taxis are easy to find, the front desk will call for you and they will arrive within 5 mins. If you don't mind taxi rides, then this it fine.

A wonderful mid size hotel with all conveniences. A walk to the train station but taxis are cheap and $3/4 will get you anywhere. Chef Hung`s Taipei Beef Noodles around the corner - don`t miss them. Had a very nice stay at this hotel. Both kids and us like the bath and spa. Room is clean. Size is good. Bed is comfy. Went to have hot pot at a nearby restaurant for Sichuan hotpot. It was great. Parking is easy too. Oh, also the business center. They have a printer/scanner to use for free. The hotel is very modern, it has everything we needed. You have the control of the lights and room temperature right at the night tables.The breakfast room is bright and pretty, even though it is at the basement. The room facilities especially bathroom is excellent for the price and star rating. Breakfast is good. Front Desk customer service are courteous. Subway is within walking distance. The biggest problem is even though the hotel is entirely non-smoking, but the hotel does not enforce the rule, still allows some customers to smoke in their rooms. It took […] me changed rooms twice to finally settle for a true non-smoking room. The A/C in the rooms are set at 21 C and can not be changed. The only option is to turn it entirely off or leave it on. Booking through Hotels.com has one drawback. If you plan to stay for more than one night, you need to make separate reservations, ONE RESERVATION PER NIGHT, just in case your plan changed and need to check out a few days earlier than originally planned, because the hotel booking is non-refundable once you checked in the first night. Cancellation is based on per reservation not per night. I would recommend this hotel once you know what to avoid and what to expect. It is overall not a bad place to stay. Mehr

Four stars hotel, Five stars services.

Location is fairly convenient but taxi drivers may find a hard time to locate the hotel. Executive rooms have biggest toilets, but in general are smaller than other room types. Variety of breakfast is great but western options not impressive. View to small park is good for Taiwan standards.

My hubby and I loved this hotel alot. We are staying in Executive Suite with a great 3nights stay. We even regret not to choose this hotel while we returned to Taipei from TaiChung. So wonderful hotel with big, nice and clean room. We simply love this hotel alot. The location is near to MRT station with a less then 10mins walk. A small shopping area […] with yummy food stalls. The hotel is located in the brown line which connects to red and blue line.Convenicence location for us while we travel to Damshui (red line) and Taipei City hall (Blue Line). Spent 9 days in Taiwan and only stayed a night (my last night in taipei) at Beauty Roumei Boutique. The hotel was extremely clean, quiet and comfortable - the best of the lot of hotels i stayed in over 9 days. The only downside was the 3pm check-in time which was an inconvenience as we reached there at 1pm and was told they were still cleaning the […] room. That said, the counter-staff were very polite, took our bags and told us to walk around the area and they'd call us when the room was ready. They also allowed us to check out slightly later at 12.40pm the next day. Nearest MRT station to the hotel is a 10min walk away (direct line - 5 minutes train ride to Ximen). Local food/ fast food chains/ shops/ ammentities/ banks are all a convenient 3-5min walk from the hotel. Also there's a shuttle bus that takes you to the airport (5min walk from hotel). Mehr

This hotel has an extremely huge bathroom with a steam shower and jacuzzi. It's pretty cheap considering what you get with a comfortable bed and big enough room. The MRT is just 2 blocks away and the hotel reception is extremely helpful.

We had a great stay, using this as a base for a weekend in Taipei. Close to a market, but a little hidden away in a back street. Stayed to nights in the executive suite, and had my first experience of a hotel/room being better than the pictures. However .. staff service level was low, and there is not much to do close to the hotel. Good breakfast.

I had a comfortable stay. no bad points about the hotel. The location of the hotel may not be obvious to all but they have put up huge sign board at various entrances to indicate their whereabout hence our cab driver had no issue finding the hotel. The MRT was about 10 mins walk away. Realized that a Taiwanese's idea of near differ from mine. :P The room was warm and cozy with excellent internet speed. […] the only boo-boo i can think of was the jacuzzi. The hotel has everything you need. Convenience, friendly service, comfort. Rooms were excellent with a nice jacuzzi bathtub and sauna facility in the shower room. A minus is that the carpet seemed alittle old. But clean on the overall. Complimentary snacks and water are refilled every day, which is the best part. Location is at the business district […] of taipei, but still very near to the main attractions and the Song Jiang Nan Jing MRT station. This hotel is in a good position with a short walk to MRT station for getting around to see all the sights. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful and spoke very good english. The hotel itself was very clean and the room was above expectations for the price paid, nicely furnished plus tea/cofee making facitlies and free snacks. The location is 5 minutes walk from a pretty central subway station. The room is quite comfortable, although the decor is a bit old fashioned. It also smelled like tobacco although they said it's a non-smoking room. The TV worked well and the bathroom facilities are top-notch, with very strong water pressure for shower and bath. Just had a wonderful 11 nights at the Roumei Hotel in Taipei. From the time I was picked up at the airport to the time I left, it couldn't have been more comfortable. Hotel staff were very helpful and cheerful. Breakfast buffet delcious. Nice spacious room, big bed and TV. Great spa and sauna/shower. By far, the very best value for your money in Taipei. Two thumbs up !!! Definitively recommended.

nice business hotel. But unfortunately, the wall is very thin you can hear your neighbours , the door openning and closing on the same floor can be heard very obvious and the sound from the neighbours is quite obvious and alarming! Breakfast is good and reasonable pricing.

Rooms: The rooms we had (Executive Suite) are not very big but they comfortably accommodate 2 persons each. They look very clean, new and well-maintained. The mini bars come with free snacks and drinks(non-alcohol). Bathroom: Very spacious and lovely bathrooms with a wonderful jacuzzi. You can even opt for a milk bath in the jacuzzi(yes, there's a […] switch where you can press for a milk bath). Service: Adequate. The service staff are polite and helpful but not very warm. Location: With the new subway line in operation, the nearest subway station is only about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. Nearby, there are plenty of eateries and shops. This is a nice hotel. Front staff are polite and helpful and can speak English. The hotel is clean and offer a good breakfast. There is a laundry machine in the basement. There were 2 things that were not satisfactory. 1. The internet was not working even though we told the front desk to send someone to look into it. 2. You can't open your windows because […] you have apartment dwellers looking straight into your suite. It's a relatively nice hotel overall, but it has the silliest thing I've seen at a hotel: the room card key has not only the hotel's name but also your room number tapped to it! The room is spacious, though, and has a very nice bathroom with a shower, a jacuzzi tub (didn't use it), and a toilet/bidet that stays warm at all times (nice touch, literally). […] There are control panels right next to the headboard to turn off/on all the lights and you can listen to the radio system in the room. But I wasn't able to change the room temperature, despite several attempts. The front desk is uneven in quality; one female employee looks perpetually unhappy and was not very helpful. The location is not great, but there is a movie complex just around the corner and quite a few restaurants and shopping streets in the area. A tip: you can go to ChangChun Rd. to catch bus #12 to MRT ChungShan Station (10 mins) to travel by MRT. The taxi ride from/to Taipei Station ranges from NT$120 to 160 depending on the time of the day and traffic. Mehr

On the 2 occasions we stayed here we had rooms on the second and third floors. Of the 3 Beauty Hotels we used in Taipei, the Roumei was the best due to sound-proofing between rooms. The bathroom facilities were spectacular. The windows opened. Buffet breakfast was very good. The self-service laundry was very much appreciated. My friends and I were pleased with the hotel room and the good price. However, the location is a bit far away from the subway. You can walk 15 mintues to public transportation or hire a taxi, which is very inexpensive. The hotel staff was not very friendly. Receptionist was not very familiar with the surrounding, when i asked for the nearest phamarcy, she told me to take a train to city, which i did and later at night realised that there was one just on the right side (2 mins walk from hotel). We selected Roumei Boutique for the cost-quality and for the nice looking bathrooms. The bathroom was, as the pictures accurately display, amazing - best we've ever had. The room was also very nice, clean, and extremely high tech. The bed was also softer than most beds in Asian hotels.
