Ocean Reef Suites, South Beach - Miami Beach

Die Lage des Hotes ist ausgezeichnet (100m zum Strand. 100m zur Bushaltestelle zum Flughafen, nach Miami und für Busfahrten durch Miami-Beach. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einziger Nachteil dieses Hotels ist die Hellhörigkeit. Ist es ein Fertighaus ?

Wir haben zu zweit das Hotel für 8 Tage besucht. Das Zimmer ist neu renoviert, groß und sauber. In der Küche gibt es Besteck, eine Herdplatte, Schränke, eine Kühlschrank und eine Spüle, die alle ohne Probleme funktionieren. Das Bad ist sauber und groß. Jeden Tag kommt ein Zimmermädchen, das alles putzt. Der TV verfügt über ca. 1000 Kanäle. Die Lage […] ist perfekt. Zum Strand und dem nahegelegenen Lumus Park sowie Art Décor District sind es nur ca. 3 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Hotel bietet kostenlos Strandtücher an (gegen Unterschrift). Die Mitarbeiter helfen bei jeder Frage und jedem Problem sofort weiter. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall. Mehr

Lage: Das Hotel liegt zwischen zwei Shops an der Hauptverkehrsstraße der Insel. Daher kann es abends wie auch nachts lauter werden, wenn man nach vorne raus ein Zimmer hat. Ausstattung: neben Fernseher und Küchenausstattung (Mikrowelle, Kaffeekocher und zwei separat anzuschließende (Camping)Kochplatten) gut ausgestattet. Nachholbedarf liegt eindeutig […] im Badezimmer. Die Dusche war schlecht verfliest, der Boden angelaufen. Ohne Badelatschen nicht zu empfehlen. Definitiv zu machen: FENSTER. Wir haben die Vorhänge nicht aufgezogen, weil man sowieso nicht herausgucken konnte. Wir hoffen darauf, dass es nur Bauschutt an den Fenstern war. Wäschewechsel: Täglich ließen wir die Handtücher wechseln. Jeden Tag wurden wir anders ausgestattet, mindestens immer ein Handtuch weniger als am Tag zuvor. Des Weiteren wiesen die Handtücher schon deutliche Mängel auf (Flecken, Löcher). Preis-/Leistung: Wir sind für den Preis eindeutig mehr Leistung gewohnt. Mehr

Wir waren für 4 Übernachtungen da. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr ordentliche saubere Zimmer. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis optimal!!! Das Beste ist, 3 Minuten zum Ocean Drive und 5 Minuten zum Strand! Wir können das Hotel nur empfehlen.

The bed linen smelled like urine. The shower curtain smelled like was covered in mold. The hotel quickly fixed these things, but I still wouldn't stay there again. The bathroom was outdated and the shower faucets were not tightly attached to the wall. If you want to stay in the best possible location at Miami Beach for a really good price this is the Hotel for you. The staff was really nice and helpful to. The small kitchen in the suites was really convenient for having breakfast before going to the beach. It will save you some money.

ive stayed all over south beach, this hotel for the money i think is your best bet if you want to be close to all the action. not much noise, easy in and out, comfortable rooms. my only complaint is them not having an ice machine, small investment that tends to be standard in most hotels.

I'm sorry. The room is not spacious at all. The beds are hard as rocks and the futon in the suites are not comfortable at all. The only difference between the suites and the studio rooms are there are futons in the suites. For the price of the rooms this should be better beds. When maid service came around and changed the towels, they changed the towels […] but forgot to give us face cloths so we had to call every day for some fresh washcloths. They dont have a shuttle service to pick you up from the airport or take you back. The only great thing there was the spa services on site. Other than that I would rate this hotel a 2 1/2 hotel. This hotel was really nice and the staff was helpful as well. On the opposite side of the road in front of the beach so it was not bad to walk for the price difference. No elevators to the above stories sucked but the staff helped with the luggage to the room. No parking was a downfall but a nearby parking lot (2/3 blocks) that was pay by day was available. […] You could honestly tell they were trying to make the rooms the best for the guests. Mehr

Hotel staff was great. Location is 1 block from all the action of South Beach. Much more affordable than hotels 1 block away! Don't go to the dry cleaner around the corner however as they ruined my suit!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was pricey given its condition; however, the location was central and convenient.

I like the kitchen area and the futon in the main area. The bed was comfortable. The only thing that went wrong was the toilet wasn't flushing properly. Called the front desk and it was taken care of pretty quickly. Overall the hotel is in a great location and its very chill. Would most likely stay there again.

Its quite simple really, for value for money, location, size and comfort of the room i wouldnt bother looking anywhere else. The beach is a stones throw away with all shops, cafe's , restaurants etc etc on your doorstep

It's a great location and for the price a good value to be located right in the epicenter of South Beach. My studio even had a small kitchen so nice for longer stays. On the downside, hot water is very difficult, on my first night there I could not get any but in the morning I let it run for like 20 minutes and finally got enough for a shower. What […] a waste of water. The light above the bed flickered because they have a CFL bulb installed on a dimmer switch. Bed was OK but not great. Bathroom could have used some attention, the toilet would run unless you jiggled the handle and it could use a better cleaning. If you are on a budget and want a decent place to stay in South Beach then I recommend it...Parking is off site valet at $20 a night or the parking garage on 12th street 1-1/2 blocks away which is about $14 overnight. Wi-fi was a little spotty, sometimes OK but sometimes not. Even if your room is prepaid they charge $100 deposit either cash or to your credit card. Mehr

First of all Tamara was the best. She works the front desk at the hotel - super friendly and helpful. The photographer who takes the pictures was great. The rooms are OK they need a paint job here and there, the carpet probably needs to be replaced and the bathroom needs updating - the tub was not spotless. However, the room was absolutely fine. It […] was clean, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked - everything that I needed was there. BUT...being in the front room on a Saturday night meant little sleep. It was very noisy. If I am there to party then the front room is OK but I was there on a conference so the sleep was critical. I am not sure if the rooms further back are less noisy but I expect that they are less noisy. We were literally on the street. This is not the hotel's fault but just a fact of being on Collins. It's probably a warning for any hotel on Collins, not only this one. except for the highrise hotels around 16th street. I was a little disappointed that there was no coffee refill daily. Not sure if it policy or just a bad day for staff. The kitchenette was nice to have but we did not use it. Overall, it's a reasonable hotel at a reasonable price. The hotel and rooms need updating but they are very acceptable. If you want peace, stay off Collins. If you don't mind some noise, this is a fine choice - service is very good. Fine hotel. Friendly staff. Noisy location but that's true of all the hotels on Collins. Book it - no need to worry. Mehr

For the price, this hotel is an excellent choice. It is a bit older, but has had renovations to make it look nicer. The staff was extremely friendly. We had a great stay and it was only a block from the beach and all the restaurants. Everyone is correct about the garbage truck early in the morning, but it wasn't that bad.

The hotel was brilliant!! The staff were friendly, the location was perfect, with the beach only one block away. Shops were very close, literally next door, stocking everything you could possibly want!! The room was spacious, modern and clean, and also included a kitchenette.My only regret was that 10 days wasn't long enough to enjoy the benefits of […] having a spa downstairs, but I guess that would be our perfect excuse to go back!! NOISY HOTEL TO WHOM HAVE A ROOM AT THE SIDE OF THE STREET FOR THOSE WHO RENT A CAR WE DO NOT RECOMMEND TO USE THEIR PARKING SERVICE. ALWAYS WE WAIT FOR MORE THAN HALF AN HOUR TO RECEIVE OUR CAR FROM THE PARKING. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY TO USE ANOTHER PARKING IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL

Ocean Reef Suites was fanstatic. The staff was very firendly and answered all my questions about Sputh Beach that I had. I got there early for my check in and they upgraded me! rooms were nice and big and clean. I felt like I was at a 5star hotel, Would def stay there again!

the hotel is in a wonderful location, the staff is friendly and if you needed anything they was aways willling. we had a wonderful time at this hotel. It was a little noisy but it only last for 10min( the grabage truck had to pick up the grabage). The suite is wonderful no pool but we front one

The room was large and updated. It was in a great location very close to the action and the beach. One issue was that the air conditioners made the room smell bad. I tried to use an air freshner but the room still smelled like feet. Parking was expensive like all South Beach hotels. There was a restaurant, spa, and corner store located right at the […] front. You will hear everything in these rooms with the thin walls. Hopefully you won't want to watch TV from the bed as it only faces the seating area. I would stay again though. Mehr

I was so optimistic about this hotel after reading the majority of the reviews but after staying there I have to say I am disappointed. The 1st and BIGGEST problem was that we had roaches in our room! YUCK! I was terrified that I might take some home with me and that is unsettling. 2nd was that our end room face a wall on one side and an alley on the […] other side. In the alley they collected the trash LOUDLY every morning around 8-9am. So there was no sleeping in. 3rd our room was on the 2nd floor and there are no elevators so it made dragging our bags up pretty hard. And 4th the business center is not free. It looks like in the description that it would be but it's not. The say was not totally bad however. The location of the hotel was great! Super convenient. And the price, you cannot beat on South Beach. And there was also free Wi-Fi so that was a plus. The staff was very nice, with the exception of the housekeeper who was very short with us because we asked her to come back later. Overall, price and location was amazing. Roaches and early morning trash collection, terrible. I think next time I'd spend a few more dollars to escape the roaches! Mehr

If you want to be in SoBe, this is in the heart of it. Overall great value, clean nicely furnished room and friendly staff. The carpeting in hallways is dirty. Other than that, all aces.

This hotel is very close to the beach, just one block over to Ocean Drive & a short walk to the park. Many restruants just steps away. The hotel has had a face lift in the past year or so. Rooms are comfortable. We had a studio suite. Very large. Nice kitchen with a small but well maintained bathroom. A bit of street noise in the a.m. due to work going […] on in the area. For the price this hotel was amazing! Our room had a small kitchenette and was clean and functional. The front desk staff were genuine, friendly and very service oriented. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a very pleasant stay at Ocean Reef Suites. The reception was very efficient and friendly, checking in was a breeze. The rooms were very large and clean. We had a large suite at the end of the hall, our only issue was noisy dumpster trucks early in the morning. Try and avoid the rooms facing the alley way, the windows are slats so it doesn't really […] prevent the noise from waking you up. Otherwise our trip was amazing and there was free wi-fi...bonus! Rooms were spacious and clean. Great location for visiting South Beach.

Hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. I would stay here again for the price. Only bad thing was the TV, it only faces the living room and you can't watch it in bed. Besides that, we had no problems and everything was fine.

This hotel is in a great location, two blocks away from the beach. There is a public parking lot close by. We paid only 6 dollars from midnight to the next morning.

It' s a nice and clean place. It' s confortable and central.

We were very pleased with our rooms, which were recently remodeled, clean, large, modern, and very comfortable. The only way to improve them would be to switch the TV from the living room to the bedroom and make the partition wider to afford more privacy. Otherwise we were delighted with the rooms. The lobby, on the other hand, is smaller than the typical […] room. They sold out the entire front of the building to cheap internet and tourist shops and stuck the lobby in the back. Not very glamorous at all, but I explained it this way to my guests: we're staying in a studio apt in an apt building, not a hotel. Otherwise everything was great! I am staying here again next March. Very good and friendly staff, clean rooms and nice atmosphere. The hotel os very close to the beach and the nice stores.

Stay on the second floor ...you can hear everything above you. Noisy trash picked up early. It was clean, but an old building and partially updated Bed has a wood bench around it and bruised my knees.

The location was great! The room we stayed in the first night had some minor issues, but the front desk manager was willing to work with us and gave us the room next door for the second night, which enhanced the enjoyability of our stay. Considering the price we paid for a stay in a South Beach hotel, we could not have beaten the price!

The hotel has been recently updated and the kitchenette is nice if you are staying for a while. I lost electricity in half of my room on my 2nd day of the trip. I reported it to the front desk and the looked into it. I did not end of having electricity in the sleeping area of the room or electricity to the television. The hotel offered to move me to […] a different room around 10pm that evening which was the last night of my stay. I declined since I planned on only sleeping there for the last night. Also, the windows have not been updated on the hotel so they look like they are out of the 1950's and don't completely close. It was not a problem for me but during extreme cold or heat you will know what the temperature is outside without walking out the door. Overall, not a bad experience. Mehr

Rummet var inte alls vad vi förväntade oss för det priset. Vi blev uppgraderade till ett större rum men det var fortfarande inte prisvärt. Städningen var under all kritik och de flesta dagar fick vi inte ens nya handdukar utan vi fick säga till för att de ens skulle städa. Det var extremt lyhört och sopbilar kom kl 7 på morgonen vilket gjorde det omöjligt […] att sova. IKEA inredning och sunkig heltäckningsmatta. Skulle inte rekommendera hotellet till någon annan. Enda fördelen är att det är nära till Oceans drive och partställen. Mehr

Ocean reef är ett riktigt dåligt hotell, det är snarare ett Hostel. Fick intrycket att det bor många som bara festar här. Rummen är slitna och ej rena, städningen är under all kritik. Vi fick ett jättelitet rum först som bl.a. Inte hade riktiga fönster så att man hörde allt från gatan. Blev uppgraderade till ett större rum, där blev vi störda av sopbilen […] som kommer tidigt på morgonen. Dom var ändå hyfsat hjälpsamma och trevliga i receptionen. Skulle aldrig bo här igen och det ser inte ut som på bilderna. På plussidan är läget, man bor verkligen mitt i southbeach och kan gå till allt, finns dock hotell bredvid som ser bättre ut. Mehr

Ingen luksus,akkurat-men greit og rommelig,med kjøkken etc-meget god beliggenhet!

Bildene lyver! Rommet vi fikk var slitt og kunne absolutt trengt en oppgradering både når det gjelder interiør og generell oppgradering av flater som vegger og gulv. Men på den andre siden var beliggenheten super! Rett ved stranden, mange flotte shopping muligheter og restaurater på rekke og rad!

Un po' caro ma bello!!

Por el precio solo vale la zona. No nos gustó para nada. La limpieza y reposición de toallas, jabón, papel higiénico dejaron mucho que desear. mala experiencia. Ademas en teoría incluía estacionamiento, pero tampoco: Nunca más!
