Hotel is modest and a bit older. The rooms are currently being updated but mine was not done Right on the water, fab views, the staff were strong english speakers. The room had a small kitchen and private bath, all which was more than adequate. Clean. The location of Sol Timor is excellent. Rooms are basic but very clean. Would recommend it to family and friends.

we stayed here for a week . great location, apartment very basic, beds and couch rock hard, had air con which didnt work. hotel staff very unhelpful, a lady came in every 2nd day to change towels etc, bar downstairs with a show every night, you need to ask at reception for a kettle, would not stay here again,

a great hotel,with great entainment,and excellecent location

I stayed in Sol Timor in June 2011 for 11 nights. My Family included all age groups children and grandparents, I have both negative and positive comments on the complex. I was woken up on the second morning of my stay to loud banging overhead my room, they were completly renovating the floor above us and neglected to inform us of such construction work […] when booking in and on calling the complex a week prior to arrival. The noise continued throughout the remainder of the holiday although they accomodated us by not starting major works before 8am in the morning. On arrival i took of my shoes in the appartment only to realise when going to bed that my feet were black and the previous residents skin was stuck to them, also glasses in bathroom had toothpaste from previous guests on them, previous guests food in kitchen cupboards and dirty dishes in presses. So cleanliness left much to be desired!!! If you are looking for location this is the perfect hotel located a good distance from centre of torremolinos 10 euro in cab approx, but surrounding neighbour hood was lovely very close to prom and benalmedena harbour. Majority of restaurants in area do not have kids menus or offer half portions although there are some. garden pool area is amazing, although shared by many not staying in hotel, i met quite a few who used facilities everyday but were not staying in hotel, therefore security with kids is paramount because anyone can enter hotel from promenade, although sign says only residents many were not. Only one more negative is that sun chairs incurred a fee of 2.50 and kids club was 10.50 per day-cheaper to spend day in aqualand!! Also no air-conditioning in apartments so maybe more suitable to travel in september-May if staying in Sol Timor. Although it seems very negative i did not read any reviews that were honest, all in all i would reccommend to friends and family but maybe wait until refurbishment has finished! Mehr

This is our fourth year coming here and its just perfect. The location next to the beach and resturants means you dont have to go far if you dont want to. The hotel is undergoing upgrading so hopefully the prices would raise! At 30 euro a night the room is very clean but dont stay here if you are looking for frills. We are generally happy with Sol Timor. It looks same as on pictures so we were not disappointed. The biggest advantage of this hotel is his location, literally 2 minutes from sea. The main reasons we picked this hotel were two fold; close to the beach and boardwalk and equipped with kitchenet. The hotel met those criterias, at least in part. Excellent location, close to beach etc. and if you can get a seaview balcony even better. However be prepared for el cheapo accomodations, furniture, TV, kitchen accessories etc. Single cup […] Aluminium coffee perculator you heat on stove, small refrigerator, small counter stove, 19 in old style TV with few english chanels and poor reception, uncomfortable sofa and fuse that jump in the morning if you use stove and toaster at same time. On the morning we left the main fuse kept breaking no matter what and we were glad to leave, in the dark. You have to pay for parking, for internet (can only receive internet downstairs near reception and not available in your room). You have to pay for lounging chairs around pool(2.5e EA. per day) and you have to pay for ironing board and iron. However the service people at the hotel are excellent and always willing to help and listen to your complaints. Close to Benalmadena Marina, beautiful area with many boutiques and restos. Mehr

We had a fantastic 5 days in the hotel everything we needed or expected was at our doorstep, but glad to see renovation works in the hotel, overall a great time and hopefully will return sooner rather than later

I really enjoyed my 4 night stay here, It is very central and right on the beach. the hotel itself is a bit dated and could do with refurbishing, but it is spotless and the staff are lovely and friendly. there are some lovely bars and restaurants at the front entrance of hotel and the back entrance leads to the beach, what more could 1 want ! One restaurant […] that stood out was the Indian 2 minutes walk away at the back, they did a fab 3 course meal for only 10 euro. fantastic value and great service too. Mehr

Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Right across the road from the sea. I would certainly recommend these appartments to my friends and hope to return there myself.

Positives. Sol Timor is generally good value for money. The location is superb with lots of hotel facilities. Negatives. Some rooms are a bit run down & its hit and miss what you'll get.

This is our second time at this hotel and as always we were more than happy. A fantastic location on the beach, surrounded by bars and restaurants and only a short walk to the marina. The hotel is clean and the staff and second to none. If you are looking for luxury this is NOT the hotel for you. But its great value for money, clean and has a great […] location. All rooms have a sea view and also rooms have a fridge (great for the price you pay) Overall its a great place for couples of all ages and families. The front staff was unbelievably helpful (and multi-lingual). The location and view were incredible. It's a beautiful place. Rooms are a little older, but well furnished and very clean. Beware-no air conditioning. It's not bad if you leave the balcony door open, but if that's too hot, you have to pay to rent a fan.

Justs back from a week in the Sol Timor Apts in Torremolinos. For the price we paid for the stay I was very suprised with the hotel. It was clean, Comfortable, Great pool and relaxing area and looked like the kiddies club was great too. Right on the beech front and close to lots and lots of pubs and good places to eat. Gorgeous Marina only a 2 min walk […] from the hotel along the beech. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in all we needed or asked about. Highly reccommend this hotel to all whether its for a fun wild holiday or a family holiday. Caters for all and in an ideal location. Mehr

The hotel was a little older than the website pictures showed. However, it was clean, well maintained and close to the beach. No airconditioning, which was okay in June but the rooms would be quite hot later in the year. There were a couple of unexpected functions: we had to switch the electrical breaker so the frig would work and the lights in the […] hallways have to be turned on each time. Once we knew these things, they were fine. Overall the hotel was fine and consistent with its pricing a good bargain. Mehr

Basic apartments, but as everything you need and very clean. The area ia fantastic and the views are the best ever. We loved our stay and would not hesitate in going back.

Rolig, grei beliggenhet. Opp- pussing i resepsjon ga lite triveling førsteinntrykk. I omtale viser hotellet til takterasse, den var kun til ansattes benyttelse fikk vi beskjed om. Litt harde madrasser og dårlige puter. Greit nok

Et bra hotell som jeg anbefaller deg som onsker et trivlig og rolig omraarde. hotellet framstaar som et familie hotell selvom vi bare var to karer paa tur!

Hieman kylmä hotelli johtuen tietenkin virailuajasta. Mutta muuten ihan kohtuullinen hotelli, vähän syrjässä keskustoista.

Hyvä huoneistohotelli hyvällä paikalla. Mahtavat näköalat studiosta ja henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä. Suosittelen.

Sol Timor Aptos var et fint hotell å avslutte vår to ukers ferie på. Beliggende på stranden og med kort vei til restauranter og barer. Ikke var det for støyende omgivelser heller. God og variert frokost. Hotellet kan anbefales på det varmeste.

Litt slitent hotell men rent og pent. Flott beliggenhet rett ved stranden. Hyggelig betjening. Eneste kritikken er elendige madrasser!!

Prima locatie, alles op loopafstand. Zowel de gezellige haven van Benalmadena als La Carihuela binnen 10 minuten lopen te bereiken. Zwembad in hotel aan de boulevard gelegen, alleen erg raar dat je voor de bedjes 2,50 per dag moet betalen als je hier logeert. De accomodatie is tamelijk gedateerd. Badkamer slordig afgewerkt, gaten in de muur met plamuur […] afgewerkt en niet betegeld. Studio was klein. Schoonmaak goed, alleen jammer dat de keuken niet meegenomen werd met de schoonmaak. Mehr

Hotellet bærer præg af at være af ældre dato, men pris og kvalitet hænger fint sammen. Det er et stort hotel, og der er mange faciliteter. Grunden til at vi valgte dette hotel var beliggenheden, og den levede klart op til vores forventninger. Det ligger et stenkast fra stranden, og der er havudsigt fra næsten alle værelser.

Rummet motsvarade förväntningarna. Enkel standard, något sliten inredning och hårda sängar, vilket tyvärr är väldigt vanligt i Spanien. Lite tråkig balkong men med havsutsikt. Väldigt prisvärt. Läget är i topp precis på stranden, fint poolområde, finns även en bra lekplats för barn. Hotellet ligger precis mellan Torremolinos och Belanmandena, med marinan […] emellan. Marinan var väldigt mysig, trevliga resturanger och fin miljö med alla båtar. Härliga strandpromenader man kan gå långa promenader efter. Mehr

Ett helt ok hotell för det priset. Nära till stranden och restauranger. Alltid taxi-bilar utanför, vilket va väldigt positivt.

Hotel anticuado, necesita una buena reforma de mobiliario. Ropa de cama y cortinas obsoletas con olor a viejo. Si cambiaran el mobiliario y las telas de la habitacion pareceria otro y daria mejor presencia. De momento si sigue asi solo iran los q van a hora niñatos y guiris que no saben a donde van.

Vi forventede ikke det store af hotellet, eftersom vi bestilte dagen før afrejse og samtidig til virkelig billige penge. Vi havde nok ikke forventet karkelakker, men dem var der så lige et par stykker af da vi ankom. Vi var alt i alt tilfredse med værelset og hotellet - man får jo hvad man betaler for. Det ligger helt perfekt ned til vandet, og pool-området […] er fint, selvom man betaler for stolene. Hvis man kan leve med slitage og low-range så er det i hvert fald et fint hotel. Staff snakker engelsk og kan hjælpe med meget. Køkkenet var fint udstyret - standard. Fin rengøring. Ca. hver 2. dag. Alt i alt en god god ferie. Mehr

Hiustenkuivaajaa ei ollut

en av de billigste hotellene i torremelinos som er i best mulig velstand, fin utsikt, store leiligheter, fin beliggenhet, anbefales til alle aldre, også barn pga uteareal med flintstone tema. Personalet tar godt vare på gjestene sine og hjelper dem så godt som mulig. Litt dårlig stand på sengene, er harde og ligge på.

Hôtel bon rapport qualité / prix. Chambre assez sommaire pour un quatre étoiles. Belle piscine. Hôtel bien situé : Benidorme (entre Malaga et Marbella). A conseiller pour un petit budget et à déconseiller en couple ou en famille.
