Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Hotel ist sauber. Die Bettwäsche wird oft gewechselt. Die Zimmer sind etwas zu klein, es ist aber nicht sehr schlimm, da man sich nur zum schlafen in Zimmer aufhält. Die Ungebung des Hotels ist leider nicht sehr schön. Der Fitnessraum ist winzig klein. Hotel mit südeuropäischem Flair in zentraler Lage. Broadway, Madison Square Garden und Empire State Building in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Mein Tipp für die An-/Abreise: vom JFK Airport mit dem Airlink bis Jamaica-Station und von dort mit der LIRR bis zur Penn-Central-Station. Von dort sind es nur 5 Minuten zu Fuss bis zum Hotel. Das Hotel ist recht neu und somit noch wenig verbraucht. Die Lage ist günstig, viele U-Bahn Stationen in der Nähe, Penn Station zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind modern und schlicht eingerichtet. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral (6 Blocks von Macy's entfernt), aber ist trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, mit einem wirklich schönen Holzfussboden. Das Kingsize Bett war bequem und breit. Ich war bereits im Indigo Hotel Chicago und auch dort sehr zufrieden.

Meine Freundin und ich waren über Weihnachten 2010 in NewYork und hatten uns für das Indigo entschieden. Eine bessere Entscheidung hätten wir nicht treffen können! Das Hotel ist hervorragend gelegen. Man erreicht Empire, Rockefeller, Macys und TimeSquare bequem zu Fuss, auch eine Subway-Station ist gleich an der nächsten Ecke. Damit aber nicht genug. […] Unser Zimmer war angenehm gross. Das Gerücht, in NYC wären die Hotelzimmer immer sehr sehr klein, hat sich hier überhaupt nicht bestätigt, wir waren sehr positiv überrascht! Das Zimmer kann von Grösse, Sauberkeit und Ausstattung mit allem mithalten, was wir bisher so gesehen haben, und wir haben wirklich schon sehr viel gesehen. Das Essen in dem Hoteleigenen Restaurant BLU (italienisch) können wir ebenfalls sehr empfehlen. Wer also abends mal nicht mehr in die grosse Stadt hinaus möchte, kann sich getrost im eigenen Hotel verpflegen. Das Personal war zudem stets zuvorkommend und freundlich. Kostenloses WIFI fanden wir ebenfalls sehr nützlich, um ab und an mit den lieben zu Hause zu kommunizieren. Falls es uns irgendwann wieder in den Big Apple verschlägt, wäre das Indigo unsere erste Wahl. Besser kann man es eigentlich nicht treffen. Mehr

Alle die ein Designhotel nach europäischem Standard erwarten, werden sehr enttäuscht sein. Schade. Der Rest war ziemlich OK. Die Dachbar ist schön. Und es gibt zwei PC's mit freiem Zugang zum Internet. Die Mitarbeitenden sind zuvorkommend. Und es lässt sich bei einem Drink wunderbar draussen sitzen und Leute beobachten.

Only complaint was hallway noice late at night.

On the hotel there was a construction work going on. Even though the receptionist promised me a quiet room, the construction noise began at 7,30 in the morning the day after i arrived. ..... They did not have any agreements with taxi drivers, so they could not order a taxi to bring me to the airport, just advice me to go to 7th and try to get one myself. […] The bar on the top was great, and the breakfast was also ok, but rooms were noisy and you can hear the elevator in the rooms (at least the two i tried). All in all; the hotel was disappointing, and i will not return. Mehr

Very great Hotel :) Clean, calm and nice.

I got in quite late, but check in took about 30 seconds and the woman at the front desk was very helpful with that and with suggestions as to where to get something to eat at that hour. In terms of location and of the quality of the hotel, I don't see how you can beat the price in this area of Manhattan. Perfect room, modern with all what necessary. we were 2 + 2 children, and it was a little full, but no problem at all. Excellent position, on the subway line 1, and 2 minutes from other 4 lines. Quiet area, no souvenir shops. Safe. No gourmet restaurant around the corner, though. But the restaurant in Indigo was excellent! Breakfast in sixth avenue, […] many options, 100 meter. wireless internet was slow. Roof terrace opens now, we did not see it, but I am sure it is great. we will go again, perfect and a quite ok price for NYC. Mehr

Under construction. No rooftop bar. Dusty room. Front staff good.

We were surprised to find a 4 stars Hôtel near Times Square at such a low rate... and we were wondering if there was anything wrong with this place. Nop! Nothing wrong! In fact, it was perfect! The entry is modern and simple, the personnel were very professionnal and helpful, the room was clean. It is also situated on a street full of flower shops […] (it is beautifull in the morning with all the flowers in the street) and Times Square is at a distance of 10 min walk. I already recommended this Hôtel to 2 of my friends and I'll go back next time I'm in New York city. Mehr

Hotel is well located for shopping round Macys etc. Clean and tidy, rooms are also an ok size and well looked after. Sound proofing is dismal though - whoever was in the next door room got to know each other really well. Restaurant is a bit drab but ok.

We enjoyed our stay and thought it was a great deal. The bed wasn't as comfortable as we would have liked and the sheets were a bit scratchy.

Very nice hotel. Feels brand new. Had to switch from 2nd floor to higher floor to get cell reception, but hotel was extremely accomodating. Beds were extremely comfortable. Very clean. Restaurant next to lobby was very good for breakfast as well as cocktails before we went out in the eveing.

Hotel was priced at a very good value and is reasonably clean/nice, which are the only real reasons to stay here (as well as the free wifi). However, neighborhood (flower district), though not too far from Wash Square Park and Union Square, is not the same as being Midtown, in Times Square, in the heart of Soho, etc. Experienced some quirky and irritating […] things as well, such as returning from a late dinner to find my non-smoking room reeking of cigarette smoke (apparently one of the hotel employees thought my room would be perfect for a cigarette break) which caused me to have to switch rooms at 1am, and having to listen to the smoke detector going off in an adjacent unoccupied room the next morning for about 20 minutes before they came to shut it off. These things tend to color your stay! Mehr

The room was pretty ordinary but clean and comfortable.

I like this hotel. The price was good, the condition was good. Friendly staff greets you. It was a positive experience.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The only problem was that when sitting at the foot of the bed, the entire bed lifted up and almost fell over our heads. Minor problem, because it only happened when sitting by the foot of the bed. Location was accessible to many of NY's most desired sights. The immediate area around the hotel-in the flower district-was a little dirty. But the hotel itself was nice, the rooms were a bit small but comfortable. The gym was quite small and did not have a lot of weights/workout equipment, but was adequate. I was just in New York on Business for four days. I Had a great stay with only one complaint. I needed a 5am wakeup call that never came. I was lucky my internal clock woke me up. I had told the front desk clerk at 11PM and complained to the same person the next morning. Other than that it was a great stay.

Easy walk from Penn Station. Clean modern hotel, very friendly people working at hotel. We plan to stay again next time in New York.

The hotel room was very spacious and had beautiful decor. The bathroom had great space as well. We had an iHome so we were playing music the whole time, but the hotel itself was very peaceful. The staff were all very helpful, and I would definitely return here. There was ample street parking (free on weekends), and it's right off a busy avenue with […] tons of restaurants and shops. Mehr

Location was ok- the street it is on seems a bit run down aside from other hotels. Room was nice and modern. There was a party in the roof lounge when we stayed so it was a little noisy. All in all, pretty nice but not sure it's worth the extra cost for a slightly fancier room.

we spent 2 nights at the indigo. overall, it was quite nice. first, the good: loved the neighborhood, right next to the 1 train. nice little tucked away hotel, pretty room, small but nicely laid out, great bathroom, comfy bed. very gracious and helpful staff. got a great deal on the room. and a small thing: the place smelled wonderful. and the not […] so good: we arrived in a snowstorm, 25 degrees and windy. got to our room and there was cold air blowing in through the cracks between the windows and the frame. a few feet of weatherstripping would be the perfect complement for all the stylish furniture and graphic wall art. so it was kind of chilly in the room, but when we turned up the heat a few degrees, we were assaulted by a seriously in your face hvac system. it was so noisy it woke me up a few times when it kicked on during the night, and it blew very drafty cool air right on our heads. not optimal - i hope our room was an outlier and not the norm. of course, we were so busy running around having a blast that we didn't remember to tell the folks at the front desk about our climate control woes, so obviously that was not a deal breaker. We loved the location as it is walkable to so many neighborhoods- theater district or 5th Ave if that is your preference. We like to walk in the Flatiron, Chelsea and Meatpacking neighborhoods- this also is only 3 blocks form the Hi Line. Hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable.

The service was very good on the whole and I had no complaints, except for the fact that the breakfast at the ground-floor cafeteria was rather spotty and needs to improve.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Perfect if you want to be away from the hustle and the bustle of the City. It was a bit of a walk with our luggage to the stations. At night it was a little odd. Otherwise very nice rooms.

This hotel is in a great location and a block away from the subway 1 train. There are many things to do in the surrounding area and it is walking distance to Time Square. The new feel to this hotel made it feel clean.

Great hotel for the price. Convenient location, walking distance to Penn Station and stones throw to subway. Restaurant and bar close early and no room service but plenty to eat and drink nearby.

Nice hotel for the price. Great staff and service. Rooms are large (for NYC), but baths don't have tubs. 2 min walk to subway line 1. Quick check in and out. This is a great cozy, yet modern hotel about 1/2 block away from the subway Line 1. We LOVED our two nights here! The king bed was very comfortable, the room was spotless and it felt newly renovated. We will definitely consider this place again when we return in the future. Enjoy your stay!

Great place would recommend

Great service and a great room at Hotel Indigo. We stayed for our honeymoon, and were put on a high floor with a great view of the water towers on the buildings downtown. Hotel management even left us a bottle of champagne and a nice note wishing us luck on our marriage! Location was good, easy subway access and not too bad, walking-wise, from a lot […] of good stuff (Empire State Building, Herald Square, etc.). The rooftop bar, Sky B, was nice for happy hour; we didn't try it for late night. Breakfast at Cafe B was good, but dinner there was even better. The room was clean, and fairly spacious by NYC standards. It could get a little warm in late afternoon, because the setting sun shined in the window, but the thermostat was workable and got it comfortable pretty quickly. We were in NYC 10/22-23 for a wedding. This hotel is a two minute walk from Penn Station, 4 blocks from The Hugh Line and 3 blocks from the wedding venue. The room was well appointed and large by NYC standards. Aveda products in the bathroom and even a single-cup Keurig coffeemaker. Negatives: noisy inside and out even on the 10th floor and no black […] out shades, so room was way too bright at night. Staff was very nice and even let us check out late the day of the wedding. Had trouble getting served breakfast at the restaurant...ended up having to get the guy at the front desk to track down an employee to get us coffee and take our order. Rooftop lounge is nice.
