Radisson Hotel Yuma - Yuma

Loved it

Clean, comfortable large room. Well-manicured property. Excellent staff. Indoor & outdoor pool, nice exercise room. Only drawback: Property borders I-8 freeway on one side & railroad right-of-way on other. But I did not hear much noise from either.

We stayed here because it was half way between Tucson and our home in California. We were most impressed with the Wine Bistro Bar (which is actually a full bar). Over 40 kinds of wine, all kept in temperature controlled cabinets (visible in the bar area). They have a "player" grand piano that features cocktail type music and is not too loud. We could […] actually have a conversation without shouting. Our bartender was knowledgeable about the wines, as well as the small plates available for meals. We ended up ordering 3 different small plates to share (2 people), all of which were different and delicious. Hint- if you eat in the bar, you can order anything from the bar menu and the dining room menu, but if you eat in the dining room, you can only order off the dining room menu (and would miss a couple of delicious small plates) Mehr

The Raddisson is a very nice hotel located close to most anything worth seeing in Yuma. The staff is very accomodating and always seem willing to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy. I stayed there about a year ago and was happy, so I tried it again. Any doubts have been dispensed. This is my first choice when I travel to Yuma, business […] or pleasure. The breakfast more than offsets the cost of staying in a less expensive hotel, and the service is a bonus. I stayed in a room with a sleep number bed for the same price as for a regular bed. I have no real negative comments, as any minor issues were addressed by staff immediately. This is a nice place to stay if you have to stay away from home. Mehr

This was our first stay at this hotel. We enjoyed our stay....wish we'd stayed longer than one day. We were there to see the excellent performance of Hal Holbrook as Mark Twain! The hotel has inside/outside pool and hot tubs....very nice. The complimentary breakfast was generous and delicious....easily for the same meal we'd have paid at least $12.00 […] or more each. We plan to stay there whenever we return to Yuma. Mehr

Great hotel...only issue was the sleep number bed did not work correctly. Otherwise a great stay!

Nice room...nice restaurant downstairs...close to Old Yuma

Very nice hotel. Large, clean room and bathroom with modern furnishings. Comfortable bed with nice linens and lots of pillows. Nice toiletries and big, fluffy towels. Great breakfast buffet and great wine bar. Good location right off the freeway. The only downside is the noisy heating/air conditioning unit in the room. Fortunately I stayed there in […] February when it wasn't too hot, so I could sleep with the window open rather than use the airconditioner. However, I then heard noise from patrons in the parking lot as they left the bar in the wee hours of the morning. Other than that, a great place I highly recommend. The price was the same as other motels/hotels in town that looked pretty dicey. Mehr

I went on a trip to see my grandparents and booked this hotel because it had a bar on site. I figured if the grandparents went to bed early I would have a place to visit with my cousins and other relatives. Problem was that the bartender was extremely RUDE. Not just a one night thing, she was rude two nights in a row and so bad we didn't go back the […] third night. Left me a menu and didn't come back for 30 mins, didn't know what was in their own drinks and gave my Dad a beer only 3/4 full. The hotel was great otherwise and the front desk was wonderful. I just wish that the bartender would have been on par with the rest of the experience. Mehr

The european shower, the comfort bed, the in-room coffee pot, the restaurant, the greeting and polite employees were a plus in this hotel. We have stayed in 3 other hotels in Yuma, and I would rate this as the best one so far. I would return/recommend it also to others. The only factor which was unpleasant is we requested a quiet room, but we soon uncovered […] the fact that the "comfort bed" was not available on the 4th floor. I told the front desk rep that we also expected the comfort bed, she then had someone come to assist us w/the move of luggage..but we expected to be placed in a "quiet room" as requested ...did not happen. We couldn't sleep as a result as we kept hearing the noise off the freeway. Upon complaining about this, we were suprised that the hotel had slashed our rate from the bill. Lovely hotel. Very nice gym with cardio equipment and free weights. Nice bar and outside patio lounging area. Very clean and quiet. Nice breakfast buffet.

The hotel decor is quite outdated, but the staff was friendly and our room was clean. The food at the restaurant is very good. The work out facility is great, but the pool is very small. There is a guest laundry that was great to have at no charge.....just provide soap! It tends to get busy at night in the lounge/lobby area with a lot of the younger […] crowd.....military base is nearby! The beds are all sleep number beds, which I was not a fan of...at least it confirmed that I don't want to purchase one of these in the future! The fire alarm did go off at midnight. They told us it was a false alarm. Then the fire trucks surrounded the building with their sirens. Then the fire alarm went off again! After that, there was no chance of getting back to sleep and the hotel did not offer any compensation off the room for this inconvenience. Made for a long, tired trip home the next morning. Mehr

The service at the hotel is excellent. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean, new and modern. My only complaints: 1. There was a tray outside of someone's room from the time we checked in around 7pm to when we checked out the next day at 10am. The hotel was nearly empty so the staff was not that busy not to check for trays being left […] outside in the corridors. 2. The lobby is not very inviting. It has very small apartment sized light weight chairs and couches and very cheap looking paint and wallpaper. For a hotel this new and of this quality, the lobby area is not at all up to par. Mehr

Location conveniently right off interstate. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was nice - comfortable, clean. Bed really comfortable. Loved the shower. Great breakfast buffet - yummy. Rates very reasonable. I will gladly return to this hotel.

Everything was Great! The room and the restaurant were great! This is the nicest hotel in Yuma! period!

Staff was wonderful. The bar, lounge, and restaurant was 1st class with wonderful food and reasonable prices. The location is just off I-8 and convenient. The property is neat and clean with a pool.

Just a treat after the bad experience from last night. Was really good staying in a nice and well maintained hotel with friendly stuff, good food and laundry for free.

This was my first stay at the hotel. I was in town for work with a colleague. We were both impressed with how helpful and friendly the staff were. The bar and restaraunt were very nice. We brought other work associates to the bar, and they were impressed as well. In fact, they enjoyed the place and the staff so much that they requested that we go back […] the next night as well. The pool and fitness center were above par. I will be staying at this hotel again, and will recommend it to my other co-workers in the future. Mehr

Although we were in Yuma one night. The Radisson Hotel was very clean, had all the ammenities we could want, such as a pool, a gym, an indoor pool and jaccuzzi. The staf was courteous, helpful and answered all our questions regarding entertainment and things to do in the area. The hotel is freeway close and central to many attractions. Our room was […] very clean. We wish they had a tub in the bathroom, but the shower was adequate, considering the time we had. The complimentary breakfast buffet was very good. We stayed at the Radisson as we were going to a graduation. The hotel is right by all stores, restuarants and attractions for Yuma. The hotel is only two years old. Everyone in the hotel is so friendly. The front desk people always greet you. The breakfast was icluded in our plan. It was buffet and very good. Food alway fresh and if you didn't like […] what was there you could order something else. We had lunch there twice and it was very good.We used the work out rooms everyday. They have up to date equipment. The pool is great only draw back is that you have to go back inside if you want anything to drink. The rooms are very clean and decorated with nice taste. We had the new number bed that was so comfortable. There are a few attractions 5 to 10 minutes from the place which made it pretty easy to get around as most the the major highways are close. The hotel offfers free interent which was great. There bar has happy hour everyday and different themes, I would stay here again when visiting Yuma. Everyone in the hotel has knowledge of all the sites and can direct you without a problem. Mehr

First class establishement in every way and should definitly be Star Rated higher. Absolutely no compiint and would recomend this hotel to the most fastidious traveller.

room was clean, sleep number bed was a little bizarre but not necessarily a bad thing......food in the restaurant was very good, free breakfast wasn't bad either. this hotel is very easy to get to from the freeway. will stay there again next year.

We stayed here to visit my husbands Uncle and Aunt who winter in Yuma. The hotel was very comfortable, attractive, and central to activities. The breakfast was your standard hotel buffet.....but fine. We would stay there again.

Loved the bed and the room was a nice size. There was an indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi but the outside jacuzzi wasn't working. We still enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay! Bit on the pricey side in high season, but worth it!

Great hotel, seemed brand new. Nice restaurant in the hotel and was convenient when arriving late. Service at front desk was quick and helpful and our rooms were provided as described when purchased. Close to our business destination in Yuma and surrounding area looked heavily populated if we wanted or needed to head out for anything.

This hotel met all my expectations, actually exceeded them for Yuma. The hotel is comfortable, easily accessed off the interstate, and had a very friendly staff. The room was pretty spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The Radisson offered a pretty good buffet breakfast, much better than most places I have stayed, and the restaurant was […] very nice. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip through Yuma. very nice hotel except for one small thing if ya like a decent breakfast you better go to dennys or i hop there breakfast buffet is the worst i have ever seen absolute slop, a lot of cheaper hotels have better breakfast

The staff were all very friendly and accommadating. The hotel had a happy hour menu with resonable prices. A full bar and menu is also available. We ordered off the happy hour menu to take to our room fo appetisers, very tasty. The rooms had granite walk in showers that were quite roomy. Refrigerators in the room, microwaves down hall near ice machine. […] We wish a safe and microwave were in the room. The full hot breakfast buffet that came with the room was greatly appreciated in a pleasant setting. Mehr

Very nice hotel with excellent breakfast buffet. Pool areas, etc. were well kept and staff was excellent, even remembering our names each time we passed through the lobby. The only drawback, which is temporary, is the highway construction near the main entrance which made it tricky to get in and out. We found an alternate route which, although longer, […] was faster. Room was comfortable, clean. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Very nice hotel. The only neg thing was the pool, where most of the sun was shadowed by the building. But you can't move a pool.
