Mich hat es dienstlich nach Fort Saskatchewan verschlagen, und ich bin mittlerweile dreimal im Hospitality Inn abgestiegen. Ein neues Hotel, sehr gepflegt und mit sehr nettem Personal. Vermittelt familiäre Atmosphäre. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen. Allein Fort Saskatchewan ist, zumindest im Winter, kein Ort, der zu längerem Verweilen einlädt.

Wir haben hier nur eine Nacht verbracht. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, die Matratze war durchgelegen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war umfangreich und lecker. Das Personal war sehr nett. Obwohl wir schon ausgecheckt hatten, durften wir unser Auto noch 3 Stunden in der Garage stehen lassen.

Unser Zimmer war sauber und sehr ruhig. Wir waren 2 Nächte im West Edmonton Mall Inn, haben uns wohlgefühlt und würden das Hotel wieder buchen. Das Personal war freundlich und kostenlose Parkplätze waren in ausreichender Zahl vorhanden. Auf dem Zimmer waren ein Flatscreen Fernseher, Kühlschrank, Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen. Gefehlt hat ein Safe. Surfen im Internet per WLAN war leider nur gegen Gebühr möglich. Schade, denn viele Hotels bieten dies inzwischen kostenlos an! Frühstück gab es keines. Man konnte aber gut in der Mall frühstücken, z. B. bei Alberts, einem Frühstückscafe direkt im Eingangsbereich.

Empfangen wurde ich von einer Deutschen, die dort an der Rezeption arbeitet. Die Zimmer sind modern, zwei Queens, kleiner Tisch für Kaffee, Flachbildfernseher. Am Ende des Flurs war eine laute Lüftung, die sicher stört, wenn man in der Nähe ist; ich war am anderen Ende. Frühstück gibt es nebenan im Albert's Family Restaurant; Zugang besteht vom Hotel aus. Das Parken war bei mir kostenlos. Die Hauptstraße der Innenstadt, Jasper Ave, ist keine 100 Meter weit entfernt. Lokale um die Ecke gibt es genug. In der Nebensaison für unter 100 CAD konnte ich es nicht besser treffen.

"Great hotel"
Great hotel ... clean and bright. Very reasonably priced. Good choice of food for breakfast. Hotel is a little tricky to get to (for the first time), especially if you are driving north from the airport.

Breakfast was delicious, and kept open longer which was very convenient. Staff was very helpful and friendly, I definitely recommend tis hotel. Needed a pharmacy and front desk were very helpful in leading me in the right direction!!!

Nice overall stay. The location was a little strange. It was located beside Calgary Trail, but you have to exit through a side road to get to it. A little inconvenient to get to. Very nice, clean and new. Nice pool - very good for small kids. There is a very shallow part which is nice for younger ones. Also a hot tub. In the room, the bathroom door […] closes on its own. I'm sure its a fire-safety thing, but it was very annoying. My son inevitably got his fingers stuck in there. The hotel is located very close to the South shopping area - convenient. I like this hotel because it is a convenient place to stay if you are headed South. It's a quiet location close to lots of shopping on Gateway Blvd/Calgary Trail. The rooms are extremely clean and quiet, the complimentary breakfast is very good, and the rates are very reasonable.

I was very pleased with everything with my stay here. Good breakfast selection, great staff, clean rooms, convenient location in the south end of Edmonton, local restaurants within close walking distance, comfortable room which were very very clean, microwave and fridge were very handy for eating in when it happened. "Same as expected, a good thing"
The good thing about HI Express, they have standards and this only certainly met them. Bright cheery room, what you expect for a mid-level hotel. Location was kind of tricky to get in and out of. Complimentry brekkie nice touch. Not sure if I would stay here again, strictly due to location, not a bad choice.

Great rooms, fantastic service and breakfast. I've stayed here twice now and will do so again. Probably my favorite place to stay in Edmonton in recent years.
We gave our rating based on the breakfast! The room was nothing outstanding, the bed was alright and the rest served it's purpose. After a long day of shopping we went to use the hot tub which turned out to be only lukewarm and full of suds indicating that perhaps the chemicals weren't ideal, thus we were disappointed. Chose the hotel because of good reviews and it lived up to it. One of the BEST included breakfasts I've ever had and I'm fairly fussy. Had good protein, plus fruit and yogurt, etc. My compliments to the management.

This hotel was great for my husband, daughter and I. Breakfast was awesome, pool was nice and warm and our room was good. Only thing missing had to do wIth the tv. No movie paperview and no tv guide made it hard in the evenings when our daughter was in bed at 8. Otherwise really enjOyed our stay and would probably stay there again in the future.

The central location of this hotel is perfect for us: close enough to WEM and South Common for all of the shopping that we do in Edmonton. We also love the pool, which is heated and fantastic for our two-year-old. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Another fantastic time!

My wife and I found this great Hotel on Hotels.com. This was the first time we used Hotel.com. We booked our stay at Holiday Inn Express in Edmonton on Calgary Trail, and were very happy with our choice. The staff were friendly and even smiled. The room was amazing, although we were a bit surprised that there was no tub in the bathroom, just a shower. […] We were booked into a Handi-cap room, and not sure why. But it was a very nice, comfortable room. We enjoyed the complementary hot/cold breakfast in the morning too. We would certainly go back and stay, but the next time, it will have to be a longer stay. Finally a hotel that can fit a family of 6!! Lovely suite to fit our family, marvellous pool to burn energy for the kids with a great hot tub....SO CLEAN!! Breakfast has something for every appetite and very helpful staff! Lobby staff are actually happy and seem to truly enjoy being helpful to their customers! Highly recommended!

I was very pleased with this hotel. The room was clean and spacious, the staff I dealt with were very professional and helpful. My only negative comment would be about breakfast. I am gluten intolerant and I can't eat greasy food, due to stomach issues. The only thing at breakfast was bread products, sausage and bacon. Clean pool and hot tub area. Hot breakfast. Free parking. Only two blocks away from the box stores at South Edmonton Common. Good location for overnight prior to flying out too.

"Hotel in South Edmonton"
We have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed it last time. The location was very convenient for us for where we needed to go. Unfortunately for some reason they gave us a handi-cap room, which wasnt so much of a big deal since the room was massive. Not too bad, except for the shower. I am 6'4" there is no way i can fit under a 3 foot high shower. […] So i wasnt able to use it. They have a really decent free breakfast in the lobby area, and the pool and the hot tub are awesome!! "The Holiday Inn Express in South Edmonton"
This hotel is new so it is very clean and fresh. It is close to a large shopping area and many restaurants. It is easy to get to and easy to access main attractions like WEM as it is close to Gateway Blvd. The hotel is very quiet with little or no traffic noise inside.

"Brand new in 2010"
This is a brand new hotel so everything was clean. Rooms were very comfortable and service excellent and very polite. Children had a blast in warm pool and breakfast had lots choices including eggs sausage and bacon ( no waffle maker which the kids love). My only surprise was that I was expecting a kitchenette with stove but there was only a microwave, […] fridge and sink. Other than that everything was fantastic. Mehr
