Ein absolut tolles Hotel, sehr freundliches, kompetentes und flexibles Personal. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ein Traum und W-LAN ist gratis. Was will man mehr.

Das B & B wird von Heilern geleitet und dieses Thema wird gelebt. Alles ist entsprechend aufbereitet, dekoriert und vor allem wird das Umweltbewußtsein in den Vordergrund gestellt. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich, die Zimmer gemütlich und schön möbliert, dabei hat alles auch den britischen Charme, den Englandreisende lieben. Das Frühstück ist organisch und vegetarisch und sehr gut; die Lebensmittel sind frisch und hochwertig. Die Lage direkt am Glastonbury Tor ist zum einen super (in manche Zimmer 'scheint' der Tor direkt ins Zimmer, Wanderungen können direkt vom Haus aus gestartet werden), zur Stadt läuft man jedoch ca. 15 - 20 Minuten zu Fuß. Parkplätze vor dem Haus sind vorhanden.

We were really impressed with this hotel, very clean and comfy. Free wifi in the room was great. And a gorgeous setting - off the beaten track but close to the city.

If you are travelling from Bristol Airport, or just fancy a country break this hotel is a great little find. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the food is good and the location is perfect. All you need in order to be able to relax....

Set in a beautiful location this once manor house is set in lovely grounds,off the beaten track but within a couple miles of Bristol International Airport giving easy access for those early starts but also an ideal spot for visiting the attractions of Bath,Cheddar Gorge,Glastonbury,Cribs Causeway shopping centre etc. For those guests using the airport […] the hotel operates a stay and park service with a shuttle bus service. A reasonably priced bar and restaurant menu is available as are continental breakfasts for extra early departures. Staff are friendly and obliging and do there best to ensure a pleasant stay. "very nice weekend"
The wife and i stayed at the Winford Manor last weekend and found our stay at the hotel very comfortable and relaxing, the place was well decorated and the staff was very helpfull we did not have an everning meal but if the breakfast as anything to go by it should be very enjoyable as the breakfast was if we go that way again we will use the hotel again […] for sure. Good location outside Bristol, very friendly and obliging staff, comfortable room for the price. Continental breakfast was good and all in all the stay was good value for money.
Good clean hotel close to airport however the night we were there it was very quite with only ourselfs in the lounge at 9 30 pm

Myself and farther stayed here one night before getting an early flight from Bristol airport the next morning. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Restraint was also very good. "More motel than Manor"
First the good stuff - the free breakfast was substantial, there's free wi-fi, and the staff are friendly and solicitous. But. We were expecting a manor, not a motel, but our room was in an addition to the building with all the charm of a travelodge. The bathroom was too small for the wetroom shower, so the floor was wet every time we needed to use […] the toilet or sink. There was only one bedside lamp, and it was too dim to read by. The bed was squishy and gave us both backaches. The curtains were dated and clashed with the walls, the one-sheet-at-a-time toilet paper dispenser smacked of public conveniences, and there was only a combination shower gel/shampoo. (I wonder if the owners would use that on their own hair?) Too many cut corners. Wish I could like it more. Mehr

All very satisfactory EXCEPT for the bed - I had a single room which was a little small but with good bathroom, drinks facilities and TV - BUT the single bed sloped dwon to left and right and I could not sleep properly - shame as I has to get up at 5.15 am to get a plane fro Bristo Aiport, which is very close by. Ther hotel needs to get some FLAT […] beds! Mehr

"Overpriced for the room we had"
The 'buffet' breakfast left a lot to be desired with no hot food on offer. The sign from the main road showed it to be half the distance it actually was (we thought we'd gone past it). Poorly stocked bar with only bottled beer on offer. Good job there was a decent pub just down the road. I've stayed in better rooms at half the price!

This was a wonderfull experience and i cannot praise the staff enough. A great location close to Bristol airport and reasonable prices. It was close to perfect.
