Dar - Prag

a hotel like any other 3/4* hotels, the thing that seperates this hotel from others is location and one very beautiful receptionist.

Service was horrible they where very very rude and charged extra when we got there then charged more. But it was right by slot of things

Hotel Dar in Prague was a wonderful experience. The people were kind, helpful,warm and the location was awesome. We can't wait to visit again.

Pros: - Located in centre of tourist area. Can walk to nearly all famous locations. - Cheap, given location. - Nice breakfast. Cons: - Central location means that area is noisy, a little bit seedy. Hotel is on tiny alleyway, with a few bars on it. V noisy on the weekend nights. -Free wake up call: there are two industrial-sized wheeled bins just opposite […] the hotel entrance. Each morning, at around 7.30am, they wheel both along the cobbled street. Makes for a *lovely* wake up call. - Cigarette smell: always faint smell of smoke in the room. - Sometimes unhelpful service: people will not go out of their way for you. You have to push your point to achieve much. - No wi-fi. - Small alleyway means that taxis struggle to get to your location - we were abandoned twice by cab drivers who refused to go all the way to the hotel. Nice location in Old Town, however, it is not easy to find. Kozna street and the ones that lead to it are open to pedestrian traffic only, and you must walk a couple hundred meters to the hotel from the metro or cab accessible street. Hotel was clean, but many tiles and toilet in the bathroom were loose and need to be fixed. Check out is 10am (not 12pm). […] Wired internet, not wi-fi. Mehr

No kidding. This little hotel is in an alley just off of the main Old Town square. Everything (and I really mean everything!) is easily within walking distance. The staff while not all fluent in english are all friendly and more than willing to help you book attraction tickets or whatever else you may need. Breakfast is included making the the price […] for a room very affordable. The rooms are not overly big (except for the 3 occupant rooms) but are very clean & comfortable with clean bathrooms and a good hot shower. The Czech restaurants on either side of the hotel are both excellent. Highly recommended! Mehr

A relatively inexpensive hotel as close as can be to all the sights in the Stare Mesto, but tucked away in a quiet side street.

We chose this small Hotel for its proximity to centre city, without the expense of being in the crowded noisy centre,also because they had a triple room.We found it wonderful, The staff were more than helpful and kind,the breakfast kept us going all day.They had tourist brochures and even printed our boarding passes for our homeward flight

Bortsett fra en frokost som var så som så er dette hotellet et kjempebra utgangspunkt for å oppleve denne flotte byen. Rett bak den astronomiske klokken og over en nydelig lokal restaurant Mlejnice. (husk å bestille bord)

Betjeningen var hyggelig og imøtekommende. Hotellet har en perfekt beliggenhet i gamlebyen. Det ligger i gåavstand til de fleste severdigheter og spisestedene er mange og varierte.Frokostlokalet var spesielt koselig og frokosten var enkel og grei.Rom ut mot gata er noe plaget av støy fra gjennomgangstrafikk om kvelden. Very nice place to stay if you only are looking for a place to sleep and not stay indoors. Nice staff and cleaning. The hotel is a typical midrange East-European hotel. Perfect location one block away from the old-.town-square. It has its own roof terrace and gives an opportunity to b-y-o and have a drink in the sun.Go there!

Fantastisk lite hotell mitt i kjernen av gamlebyen. 2 minutter gangavstand til "old town square". 5 minutter til Charles Bridge. Stort sett stille i området på natterstid, om det er noen som hoyer utenfor, er det nordmenn på guttetur i gata, men de forsvinner raskt forbi.

I sepent 3 days in this Hotel; everything was right except breakfast: the quality of the food must be improved. Moreover, air conditioning wasn't working.

The hotel has a great location, it's super clean and comfortable, staff is super nice. I have nothing negative to say. This really is a FANTASTIC hotel. When I go to Prague again I will stay at Dar hotel again.

l'hotel è in una posizione perfetta, vicinissimo alla piazza principale ed al ponte Carlo, a 5 minuti dalla fermata della metro e a 10 minuti dalla zona cormecciale della città. Le camere ed il bagno sono spaziose e ben tenute, probabilmente recentemente ristrutturate. frigobar e tv in camera (purtroppo l'unico canale italiano era rainews). Hvis man kan holde ud at have vinduerne lukket om natten, er der ingen problemer - men ellers kan der være en del støj i kvarteret, for de vinduer der vender ud mod gyden.

Kjempeflott og rimelig hotell midt i gamlebyen, nært til alt og samtidig rolig. Kjempeflott takterasse! Dette hotellet bruker jeg gjerne igjen!
