We stayed two nights 29th / 30th March 2012. It is a very small hotel with a great location beside the canal with the water bus stop close by, about a 10 min walk from the railway station so easy to get to. Our room was small but this is standard for Venice, it was beautifully decorated in 18th century Venetian style with a modern bathroom and free […] WIFI. The staff were very friendly and helpful and served our breakfast outside by the canal... truly amazing!!! Make sure you do the same if the weather permits, worth the room rate alone. This was our first trip to Venice so cannot comment on other venetian hotels but we travel a lot and this is a very special hotel. When we visit Venice again I would be very happy to stay here. Mehr

This is without a doubt an excellent base for a short or longer break in Venice. Not only easy to access (via waterbus to Guglie on the orange line and a two minute walk) but also located away from the busy main tourist areas, which are within several minutes walk (25 minutes to St. Marks Square at a reasonably steady pace). Although it is a little bit expensive because of canival, the hotel itself is perfect. The only drawback I can say is the breakfast is not good enough.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous room and bathroom with great shower. Close to the train station but not close to St. Mark's Square. Very friendly staff, and decent Euro breakfast. The beds, sadly, are European and therefore are hard with flat pillows and are actually two beds pushed together - but that is extremely normal for Italy. The price was a bit much, […] but I've seen way more expensive for a much worse room. And they had an area to keep suitcases while you explored the city but weren't able to check in yet, along with a bathroom to use, which was very nice. 24-hour manning. Mehr

My spouse and I stayed at Ca Dogaressa Hotel for one night during our first time in Venice. The location is convenient to the train station and beautifully situated along the canal. We arrived hours before check-in and were allowed to leave our bags, and then were served breakfast outside next to the canal. You can definitely tell the hotel is managed […] by a family and well loved. Our room was beautiful and I felt very safe in the neighborhood. This is one hotel which we will definitely come back again. Although the rooms are small, but it is so cosy and elegant. When we reached the hotel, the reception was already expecting our arrival. He was very helpful and friendly and speaks pretty good English. The bed and bathroom is very clean which i thought was newly renovated. But to my surprise, […] the last time they renovated the place was 9 years ago! ( They really maintain the place very well). We had a lovely breakfast facing the canal. It would be better if our room was facing the canal as ours was facing the wall! Overall, I would strongly recommend this hotel. Mehr

My husband stayed there and loved it. We sadly only stayed one night at this hotel, but we wished we could have stayed our whole vacation there. I am a clean freak, and this place was up to par! Also, great service and amazing breakfast outside on the canal! Lovely place, only a 10 minute maximum walk from the train station. I can't wait to stay there […] again!! Btw,, the room was adorable! This small friendly hotel is perfectly situated as long as you don't want to be in the middle of the more touristy parts of Venice. It is about a 20 minute stroll to the Rialto. The immediate neighbourhood has a very 'local' feel to it which we really liked and within a 5 minute walk you could be in a busier part with lots of restaurants (of all prices) […] to choose from. The situation of the hotel on the canal is lovely and tables are set outside for breakfast, weather permitting. The dining room indoors is small but adequate for singles or couples, and breakfasts are good. The staff are all extremely helpful and the rooms well-decorated. The standard double is fairly small but we were upgraded and our room was larger although to be honest we'd return to the hotel even if we were in the smaller room. Travel to and from the airport is incredibly easy by waterbus (13 euros pp each way & well-signposted from the airport) and the stop at Guglie is literally only a couple of minutes walk to the hotel. There's a small bar next door which is convenient for a pre-dinner drink in the sunshine but it closes early evening. This hotel probably wouldn't be suitable for families but is ideal for couples. I chose this hotel partly of its good reviews and i was not disappointed. With the prices in Venice this is a real find. Friendly englishspeaking staff. Very nice room. Marble bathroom is lovely. Breakfast at the canal. Flying colors.

I used to live 30 min away from Venice, and I studied there -tourism- for more than 7 years. Yep, I know Venice pretty well as well as its services! I feel very happy to have spend a night there in this very comfy hotel, owned and administrated by people who are professional, warm and interested in their guest (something pretty hard to find here). We […] decided we’ll definitely come back and spend more days at Ca’ Dogaressa because it’s a very pretty hotel, well located only one bridge away from the railway station, with fine decorated and a/c rooms, spacious and very clean. No complains at all!! Oh, and you get to have your bkfast in front of the canal of Cannaregio, quiet romantic! :) Mehr

persone cortesi e disponibili. zona tranquilla. hotel in stile, ordinato, pulito e accogliente. servizio buono. da tenere in considerazione per una futura visita di Venezia.

Muy atentos, muy bien situado, tranquilo.Cerca de la estación de tren, se puede llegar adando y muy bien para luego hacer turismo.
