Albergo Celide - Lucca

We chose Lucca and this hotel for its convenience to the Pisa airport for our early morning flight. We were quite pleased with the hotel, the friendly staff, good breakfast, free bicycles, and the location right outside of the walled city. great time here, free bikes for hire which is good, lots of free car parking, didn't eat here so canot comment, Cafe next door is part of the hotel and becomes a bar/club at night at the weekends (noise not an issue), great buzz there, very close to access to old town.

This hotel provided everything we needed: it was within close walking distance of the walled city of Lucca, but with convenient parking for our car. A great location just outside the old city wall. The hotel provides free bikes to explore the city and ride the wall. Very nice room and excellent breakfast. Only downside was the internet was only available in the lobby, but they have very comfortable couches.

The hotel is close to the wall - very conveniently located. The room was small, but comfortable. Breakfast was good - nice pool.

This hotel is perfectly situated for the town of Lucca just outside the walls so easy car access and parking. The bikes are an added bonus and again the perfect way to explore the town. Biking the walls is a must. We didnt use the hotel restaurant as we preferred to eat in the old town in the evening, but breakfast was pretty good for Italy!

Just spent 3 nights in Lucca on a 2 week tour of France and Italy. The hotel was very convenient to Lucca even though not inside the city walls. The room was clean and very comfortable. The shower was a little small but was still clean and functional. I chose this hotel based on convenience of parking as I had a rental car. This made it so much easier […] than other hotels that do not have parking onsite. The only concern I had was that the air-conditioning did not cool the room down completely. The use of the complimentary bikes also made exploring Lucca and and walls so much fun. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The breakfast was not the greatest but at least it was included. Easy to find from the station, nicely located by the entrance to the city - overall a good experience and one I would recommend

I stayed here in July 2011 and would definately return again. The hotel is located outside the walls. A pleasant ten minute walk will take you into the old town. Train station a few minuets walk which would allow you to explore other parts of Italy if travelling by car a free car park with the use of bikes to explore Lucca with. the staff were extremely […] pleasant and helpful, the rooms were clean and well maintained. carinissimo ottima posizione e molto carino anche il bar dove è possibile fare un buon aperitivo .

My wife and I spent some time (1-4 of June, 2011) at this wonderful hotell. The staff, hotel and situation is perfect! Also, great breakfast - and Lucca is worth a visit.

Hotel comodo per lavoro e turismo, vicino alle mura e facile da raggiungere dall'autostrada. Parcheggio che è un + se per quelli che vengono in auto (come noi) e senza i problemi dei parcheggi di alberghi in città (dentro le mure). Colazione abbondante. Camere comode. Ho avuto qualche difficoltà con la TV, ma forse per colpa mia.
