Einziger Vorbehalt: Die Nächte in Februar sind auch in Südkalifornien ziemlich kühl, leider war die Heitzung nicht sehr wirksam und vor Allem hat sehr viel Lärm gemacht. Die Wahl war also entweder frieren oder wegen Lärm schlecht schlafen zu können ...

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 3. Feb. 2013Während unseres Aufenthaltes gab es keine Probleme. Unsere Heizung war ausgefallen und wurde am gleichen Tag repariert. Ein kleine Makel, der Frühstücksraum ist sehr klein und eng. Da wir Deutschen gern lang und intensiv frühstücken und auch was für die Umwelt tun, konnten wir keinen rechten Gefallen an dem Geschirr aus Plastik finden. Toll war ein netter junger Mann, der uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen ablas.

In Carlsbad blühen überall Butterblumen. Diese Blumen wachsen auf einer Fläche von über 200.000 m² auf den "Flower Fields" der Carlsbad Ranch. In der Nähe dreht sich im Museum of Making Music alles um amerikanische Kompositionen und Instrumente. Im Norden wiederum liegt Oceanside in der Mitte zwischen Los Angeles und San Diego. Dieser Strandort ist bekannt für seinen Landungssteg, der mit fast 600 Meter Länge der längste Holzlandungssteg an der Westküste ist. In der Nähe befindet sich auch der Legoland-Themenpark.

"Legoland walking distance!"
The stay was great overall until we were harassed by one of the timeshare employee on the way into Legoland....it totally ruined the first 15 minutes into the park especially as my 2 year clung to my leg dying to get in..it was pretty bad....I loved that it was a hotel but hated the timeshare aspect as I felt that they were trying to bribe s ith the […] next stay if we old sit in on a meeting..l not what you want to hear on a once a year family vacation..l I thnk we I'll be staying at the Sheraton on our next visit. Perfect if your trip is to see Legoland..Walking distance and no parking fee. However, the hotel has thin walls and if you have to sleep on the sofa bed, forget it. "Price was right. Hotel was above average."
The studios were nice and we got free tickets to the Safari Park by listening to their time share presentation. The staff doesn't really do much cleaning while you're there (outside of towels and linens), so expect wash your own dishes and only clean sheets if you ask. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We stayed at a one bedroom villa and it was very nice. However, it was a bit noisy at night which made it difficult for us to get a good sleep. "Cleanest Hotel Around"
This is the cleanest best maintained Hotel/Resort I have stayed in. The self contained apartments are large, nicely decorated and well appointed. Although the rooms are not 'serviced' every day staff still change towels and remove trash on a daily basis. Great location for Legoland and walking distance to the GIA. "Hilton Grand at MarBrisa - Great for families"
This is a great place to stay if you've got little ones and plan to go to LEGOLAND. It's walking distance to the park and has a private entrance. Kitchenette in the room was a lifesaver for storing snacks and making bottles. There's a fun water play area for the kids. Best of all, we saw other kids, but didn't HEAR other kids. Parking lot was never […] full so we were able to park close to our room. There was a problem at check-in with a room that wasn't cleaned, but guest services more than made up for it. "Beautiful Room, Horrible Bed"
The resort is beautiful and within walking distance to Legoland. The room definitely has the look of a 5 star resort, however our bed was worn out and had no support whatsoever. I was up the whole night, with half of my body sliding. I finally went to the floor with a blanket. The springs were definitely worn down on my side of the bed. I was exhausted […] and sore the next day. It may just be the in room we received, but something tells me all the beds are probably purchased at the same time. Was a Great place. Way better then I expected for the price. Like somebody else said, its a timeshare place but they run it as a hotel when the places arent being stayed in. "Lovely Hotel but walls are thin"
The hotel was so impressive! We loved staying but when you are under another room, it can be quite noisy. We had kids above our room and they were jumping all over the floor. It was loud! Other than that, the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. They had just built the building we were staying in so there were some ants but really a nice clean place. […] The pool was awesome! WOW! I was very impressed with this hotel. I believe it is a timeshare but I was not attacked with any unwanted "presentations". lol. The room was spotless and everything was brand new. Our 1 bedroom condo was fully stocked with dishes, pots/pans, glasses, silverware, blenders, toaster...... you name it! I would definitely recommend and plan to stay […] here again.
