Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Man kann sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Lärmempfindlich sollte man aber nicht sein, da sehr viel grölende Urlauber frühmorgens durch die Ramblas ziehen. Trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Hotel liegt mitten drin auf den Ramblas. Der Placa Catalunya liegt 3 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel entfernt. Hinter dem Hotel liegt direkt die Markthalle. Über die Straße gibt es direkt eine Metrohaltestelle (Liceu). Das Frühstücksbuffet haben wir nicht genutzt , es gibt genügend Cafés. Tipp: Bar in der Markthalle. Außerdem gibt es um das Hotel herum […] genügend Supermärkte. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und gibt jederzeit Auskunft. Zu erwähnen ist auch noch die schöne Terrasse. Einziger Nachteil: Man kann das Fenster nicht öffnen. Das heißt, man muss die ganze Zeit die Klimaanlage laufen lassen. Ich würde das Hotel unbedingt weiterempfehlen! Mehr

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel an den Ramblas. Mitten im Geschehen und trotzdem ruhig. Unweit von Sehenswürdigkeiten und auch der Strand ist zu Fuss erreichbar. Die nächste Metrostation ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Zimmer sind gut und neuwertig eingerichtet. Die Klimaanlage ist individuell einstellbar. Habe sehr gut geschlafen. Great location. 10 minute walk from the cruise port and beach. Right in the middle of La Rambla. Right next door to open air market. This is a big plus. You can buy food at the market and eat all three meals there. Dunkin Donuts right next door for breakfast. Hotel offers breakfast but it is a bit pricey. 4 Euros for coffee, fruit and croissant. Room […] was clean. Windows wouldn't open and the air conditioning wasn't all that great like most places in Europe. Location could not have been more perfect. Had 3 rooms and they were able place us all together. Hotel staff very friendly helpful and accommodating. First part of trip I was there for 5 nights the 3 nights. They stored my luggage as I traveled somewhere else for 5 nights. The hotel is located at the heart of La Ramblas, just 1 minute from everything. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. cons: during the day you can here the metro running down below but it stops at night so not a big issue.

This was the first time my wife and I have taken our infant on an extended weekend vacation. The hotel was perfectly placed on Las Ramblas, close to a grocery store, right next door to La Boqueria, and a quick walk to the bus that takes you to the airport. The hotel was brilliant. Good size room with a comfy bed and really helpful staff. The location could not be better. On La Rambla with easy access to metro, buses and the gothic quarter and best of all right next door to the food market with its incredible array of stalls and tapas. Wonderful small hotel in ideal location. Clean and comfortable - room size/bathroom size perfectly adequate. We stayed 4 nights starting Feb. 18/13.

Definitely worth the money - ask for a room in the back though, as the front side is right on las ramblas, and is loud late, even on weeknights. Breakfast is expensive, only 2 english speaking TV channels and bed was firm (but most euro hotels are) but other than that, it was great, would come again.

The location of the hotel couldn't get better as it is exactly on las Ramblas street. But remember this hotel has no room service and does not even have a restaurant for lunch & dinner.

The staff were very friendly and helpful We requested rooms overlooking the Ramblas with balcony and were given them. Rooms were clean , comfortable bed , good size, nice bathroom Perfect location

The hotel was small but nice. The staff was friendly and spoke English. It is close to many great restauranst, tour buses and the pier. My only complaint would be I couldn't control the air conditioning unit in my room. It was centrally controlled by the hotel. It was a little chilly and the heat didn't turn on.

Perfect location, halfway along Las Rambles and right by the metro, Linea stop, and Boqueira market. Nothing fancy but we didn't stay there to spend time in the room. It met all our expectations. A great location to stay when visiting Barcelona - convenient for all sights and close to links for those further away. Pleasant reception shaff and room nice and clean. Fabulous location! literally right next door to the famous Boqeria Market, on the IT street, La Rambla. Our room was modern, clean and had a comfy queen bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had an early flight and our conceirge booked a taxi for us with no surcharge (we heard some places charged for that). The hotel was close to everything! 5min […] walk to the hop on bus starting point, and around 20min walk to the beach. The hotel is also close to some great stores and restaurants. We would head out early in the morning, stopping at the market for some fruits and pastries, walk around exploring the city (including the older parts of Barcelona), and would then return to the hotel for a nap (during their siesta time) and then back out for some more site seeing. The location was good on La Rambla right by La Boqueria Market. It was very central for getting to most areas of Barcelona. However, the central location did mean that it was noisy most of the time! The room was very tired in appearance, the quality of the bathroom fittings was poor, the door handle to the windows was broken and the TV didn't work properly! […] The size of the room was fine. The staff were ok, but were not knowledgeable about Barcelona; we had read in a guide book that 11 September was a special holiday for Catalans and that some venues may be closed - the member of staff on duty knew nothing about this and was unable to advise us of the impact! Great hotel with lovely room and bathroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful and spoke English . Location of hotel is fantastic, right in front of the Boqueria markets where you can get the best coffee and fruit from.

Great location. Helpful staff. Loved being near the market place and La Rambla. Minor things seem to go wrong with equipment in the room. The room was very attractive with long shuttered windows. We had a patio overlooking the market. It was nice sitting out in the morning or evenings.

Great location on Las Ramblas at Boqueria but that said, don't be a light sleeper as we awere on the 2nd floor and the noise of the street did invade our room. Otherwise, clean and perfect location w/free wifi and attentive staff...

The location was great, walked everywhere. This is a lovely boutique hotel, with a small, secure, lobby manned by charming, helpful, English speaking staff. Easy access to your room, coming and going was quick. This hotel is not for the traveler interested in the typical large lobby or lots of people coming and going. We never even saw the cleaning […] staff! We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, although it was available, as there are plenty of restaurants outside the front entrance. The smallish, but well organized rooms had two charming balconies overlooking the main street, Las Ramblas, where all the action is. Hotel is next door to the boqueria food market....closed on certain days, don't miss it! The only negative is that as a busy pedestrian area, Las Ramblas can be noisy...Spain was playing in world cup soccer games... there was some celebrating going on through the night, we were only on the second floor so it was a bit noisy. i had THE best trip in Barcelona! I was traveling by myself & felt very safe there. The front staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is PERFECT. It's close to everything and you can wander around La Rambla to plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops. La boqueria is exactly next door too! Also, you can catch the metro line in Pl Catalunya or […] the one stop that's even closer (forgot the name of it now...). Only drawback is that you can hear everything from your room if you're on the Rambla side, but that really didn't bother me. I kind of liked it actually. If you really want sleep, just bring some ear plugs. I will stay here again when I go back :) Mehr

The hotel looked ok to begin with, but it was a very old building, and showed its age in terms of peeling paint, and dirt in the corners of the bathroom. Apparently, you have to be out of the room by housekeeping time if you want your room cleaned. My roommate was still getting ready and told the housekeeper to come back, but no one did, and when we […] got back at 4:30 PM, the room was filthy because we'd left aside towels, etc. When I went to the reception (because the phone didn't work) the lady at the desk took a major attitude and asked me what I wanted her to do because "I cannot clean the room myself and the housekeeping staff is gone." We finally got her boss on the line and the housekeepers returned, but not before 6:30 PM. For an extra few bucks, I'd stay off the Ramblas and at any other hotel in the Barri Gotic. Mehr

Location is literally right on Las Ramblas next to La Boqueria. Although we had a view of Las Ramblas, we could not open the windows, which was disappointing. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a nice little shared patio overlooking La Boqueria on the second floor ... but for 2+ days, no one cleaned up the newspapers and cups that others […] had left there! Small, clean hotel next door to Sant Josep Merkat - Boqueria on Rambla (Liceu) with veranda overlooking the hustle and bustle of the market. On the downside the rooms were extremely small and nowhere to hide bags away from the already tiny floor area. In our first room the AC did not work, but as soon as we noted the staff they were very helpful and […] gave us another room immediately. If you don't mind crowds of tourists and the sound of them the hotel's location is very central - in a couple of minutes walking you have Placa Reial, Placa de Catalunya, Barri Gotic and Raval, and Liceu metro station is only 20 meters off the door step. Though clean rooms and central location I must admit I will book another hotel for my next stay, if only to get a bigger room. Mehr

The external appearance of the building was disappointing but fine inside. Market next door started early and was noisy (but great fruit, vegetables, bread, fish, meat etc.) Very convenient position for Metro, restaurants, tour buses and all attractions in surrounding area.
