New Horizon Hotel - Mandaluyong

Wir waren 2 Nächte im New Horizon Hotel und es gab keinen Grund zur Klage. Check-In und Check-out haben einwandfrei funktioniert. Das Zimmer war sauber und auch relativ leise (in Manila durch den Verkehr öfter ein Problem). Ein 7/11 direkt gegenüber und auch Restaurants und eine Shopping Mall in Laufweite. Als Tipp würden wir empfehlen, falls WLan genutzt […] wird ein Zimmer in den unteren Stockwerken zu nehmen, da wir im 3.Stock noch WLan Empfang hatten, im 5.Stock aber nicht. Ein Lan Kabel steht aber überall zur Verfügung. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut, aber für philippinische Verhältnis teuer. Mehr

Hotel and staff were ok. I have stayed in worse. This property was ok, not spectacular, but ok.

New Horizon has excellent facilities & service for its very reasonable price. It has excellent, full menu buffet breakfast which was included/ free with the price of stay. This hotel is a bit expensive, but it's worth the extra money. For that you get taxi service (50 pesos extra), superb complimentary breakfast, free WiFi in the rooms (slow speed though). This is my third stay here. Before, they didn't offer wireless in the rooms, only cable. Now they have installed wireless AP in every room. Ive stayed a few times at the horizon I like it. the staff are friendly its cheap and spacious but needs an refurb.but the staff must be careful I asked for a cab to the airport and they called an unlicensed cab who tried to charge me 650 ps for a 300 ps ride, but its ok im wise to these drivers but maybe others wouldnt be

Rooms are large and well appointed. Picasso restaurant has excellent and varied menus at reasonable prices. Staff pleasant and attentive? Quick email replies to any questions.

This hotel in mandaluyong is conveniently situated. We stayed in the royal suite which had a large living area and separate bedroom. The staff were flawlessly polite and courteous. The restaurant had a good variety of well presented food on order. specify what you want because they are happy to accommodate if they can. The breakfast could have been […] better for someone like me who does not eat a hot breakfast and would like a healthy start cold breakfast with fruits etc .....especially as I am allergic to mangoes which appears in many dishes. The only let down was an in room massage. The girls do not bring a massage table and the bed is too springy for a good massage. We stayed there for two nights. There's a 7-Eleven nearby as well as some restaurants. The jeepneys also stop outside. The room is clean. The view was ok. The breakfast was excellent with a big variety of foods every day. There was no wireless internet in the rooms. You could get internet with a wired cable though. Or you can use internet for free […] in the lobby. The AC was a bit noisy. Also, the buses passes there 24 hours, and they honk. It can be heard from our room. Mehr

The hotel is fair. The staff is friendly and professional and the rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The hotel is off a very busy road so it is difficult to avoid the traffic noise and congestion getting to and from the hotel. The hotel and its staff try hard and the room is OK but not great.

The hotel sits right beside Boni Station, so accessibility to any location is very convenient via MRT. Just outside the hotel, you have 2 7-11s, 1 convenience store, Wendy's, Jollibee, McDonald's, and several streetfood stalls. Just across to the other side, you can hang out at Forum Robinsons. For shopping, you can take the MRT to Ayala Station, […] just 3 stops away, for just 11 peso. CONVENIENT! I love how we can travel on our own without using the taxis. The hotel buffet spread for breakfast was also delicious. It offers Asian and European dishes. I booked the Executive Room and it was very big, clean and spacious. It comfortably fitted 3 single beds (triple share) and even has a 2 seater sofa and coffee table. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. I must say I was very surprised to be able to get this room for the price we paid for. Amazing! I must commend that the service staffs are top-notch. Really attentive to our needs and even allowed us a slightly later check-in as we returned late on check-out day, and that gave us sufficient time to freshen up, pack our belongings and leave. I would say the only downside is, wifi is only available at the lobby and in-house restaurant. You cannot access wifi in the rooms. But that's okay cos we are out most of the time anyway. For the reasonable price, fantastic service staffs, great food and great location, I will definitely recommend New Horizon Hotel to all my friends. I will stay there again if I'm heading up to the same area for my next trip to Manila. Mehr

Pretty good value for money hotel, the location was actually better than i first thought, even if its nowhere near the center of anything. But still there are places to eat and shop nearby. MRT station is right next to it, if you have guests coming from nearby they might appreciate that. I stayed in the suite room and quite frankly its just big, empty […] and the TV is in the wrong place (cant watch from the bed). So stick with the normal sized rooms. Also there is no wifi in the rooms, there is wired internet only, which is very very slow. Mehr

Convenient location, not the best conditions. Biggest shortcoming is staff has NO ideas about where to go, what to do for tourists. Hotel needs to work with taxi and tour companies to help/protect guests. I got a cab waiting at the parking lot of the hotel, going to Makati. The cab driver said: "it's the hotel's policy that we charge 300 pesos going […] to Makati." I said " turn on the meter or I'll get out now". He turned on the meter, the cost was 65 pesos! Mehr

NEW HORIZON HOTEL is our 2nd home here in the philippines,great food and nice staff always..we'll be back again next week..coz were satisfied in this hotel much..thanks

This hotel is very practically located. LRT Boni Ave is witihin a stones throw. 24hr McDonalds, Wendys 7-Eleven within 100meters Jeepney stop within 100meters. Security is Excellent. Staff is uniformly courteous. Breakfast Buffet rivals that at any Marriott in the US complete with omlette station, whole grain bread, juices cereals and asian buffet as […] well. But...... the Mandaluyong neighborhood is drab. no parks or gardens nearby. Mehr

We stayed 9 days which is plenty of time to think over how the location, staff, food and amenities were. I was very pleased with the staff, the front desk girls were awesome, the floor help was very good, the buffet was the best Ive had in a long time anywhere. The AC worked good, which is important, the noise factor was low for only being on the 5 […] th floor. The comfort overall was really good and I will happily stay there again in the future. Mehr

NICE HOTEL TO STAY,ACCESSIBLE TO ALL PLACES YOU WANT TO GO,FEW MIN WALK IN THE MALLS WET MARKET,COMMUTE BY TRAIN,CLOSE TO ALL FRIENDLY AND APPROACHABLE HOTEL EMPLOYEES.MUST TRY AND WILL ENJOY YOUR STAY,FOOD IS GREAT AND ROOMS ARE CLEAN.

The hotel is reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Room are big and confortable for the price. The location is a bit hidden and not all taxi drivers are able to find it the first time. Room service menu has good selection and he service is quick. Overall, I recommend this hotel to anyone who is on a budget.

Not only was the staff and hotel great but the meals served in the hotel's restaurant were fabulous .

The location of the hotel is not so bad but the taxis always need to do a detour all the time when I go to anywhere. Even going to Robinsons Shopping Center which is just opposite to the hotel on the map, I'll have to walk all the way up to cross a bridge to reach there. However, it's great to go to the night market which is really very near. I had […] a dinner a the Restaurant where the Chef's Special was great! I especially enjoyed the beef I ordered. Unfortunately, the waiter did not pay much attention. I had to call him three times to remind him my water glass was empty in order to get my glass refilled (whereas not many guess were around at that time). The breakfast was splendid too. For the price its a good stay, the free breakfast is pretty good, and the staff is very plesant to deal with. Busy neighborhood, and might want to watch out if walking around at night. Close to Shopping and dining in Makati, by cab. Also close to Mega Mall. Room was nice for the price, Basic room, cant say more. Great value for the price.

Very good location to all amnities. Reasonable & affordable delicious food catering for thelocals & european tastes. Hospitable smiling polite & courteous staffs. Request given attention immidiately. A very recommendable otel especially for th tourist & English visitors.

My wife, Filipina, didn't want to stay there as it was considered a bad area when she was young. But even she, the perpetual cynic, was a believer.

Ik ga daar altijd naartoe als ik een paar dagen in Manila verblijf alvorens ik doorreis n aar de provincie. N.H. Hotel ligt naast Boni MRT Station. Dus mje bent in minder dan 10 min. in Makati (Ayala Statioin) Het Hotel is een beetje oud en de buurt is ook wat minder maar de goede lokatie en de vriendelijke mensen en correcte bediening en behandeling […] in het hotel maken een hoop goed. Ik ga ve volgende keer zeker weer naar: New Horizo Hotel in Manila als ik naar de Filippiojnen moet. Mehr

Its good for anyone who wants to stay in reasonable prices. They are quite friendly but at night you can feel abit dark around hotel.you can only find seven eleven store near the hotel.may be jolly?bee?(phillipines famous fastfood restaurant like mcdonalds) could found. Foods also ok.

가격, 시설,,,모두 괜찮습니다. 특히 조식 뷔페,,,아주 맘에 들었구요 대신에,,MALL OF ASIA 와 조금 거리가 있어서,,,그리고 공항과도 조금 거리가 있어서,,,아쉽습니다. 대신에 두 장소 모두 택시비가 많이 나와도 200페소 정도 밖에 안나오니 괜찮습니다. 추천합니다.

We use this hotel as it offered enough space and beds for 2 adults and 2 children sleeping in their own bed. The rooms was very spaceous. We had no problem entertaining our visitors. Very big livingroom, and more than enough space for our 3 beds. We even added a fourth bed for one visitor for a while. Not the most impressive hotel when you arrive, but gives top value for money. Excellent food and top service, aboslutely recomendable.

ホテル入口出てすぐにセブンイレブンが2件。 その近くに、Jolibeeとマックといったファーストフード店に、屋台街。5分もあるけば、MRTの駅もあり、さらに15分あるけばRobinsonモール。 近隣環境はパーフェクトです。 ただし、ホテルへの車の乗り入れの便が悪く、車移動の場合はホテルに帰る際に時間がかかる。
