Nur ca. 80 m von der Metrostation Deak Ference entfernt. Großteil der Sehenswürdigkeiten von dort aus zu Fuß erreichbar. Ansonsten optimale Anbindung an Metro, Straßenbahn und Bus. Das Hotel selber kann ich jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Preis- und Leistungsverhältnis passen.

Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe der EXPO. Da wir ein Auto dabei hatten, war mfür mich der kostenlose Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel super. In anderen Hotels in BUD musste ich immer bis zu 16 EUR zahlen. Dafür ist man hier etwas abseits, jedoch in ca. 10 minuten mitten in BUD. Das Frühstücksbuffet entsprach den Erwartungen. Auswahl an Eierspeisen und Wurst war besser als im Mercure. Und das beste, hier noch alles inkl. Auf dem Dach gibt es auch noch einen WellnessBereich. Hier der Abstrich, die Sauna wurde leider erst am abend angeschaltet und der Jacuzi war leider abends um 7 immer noch auf 29 Grad. DIeser wurde zwar an diesem Tag gereinigt, doch dies hätte man auch am Vormittag machen können, so dass am Abend dieser auch zu benutzen ist! Ansonsten, tolles Hotel. Ich werde beim nächsten mal dieses wieder buchen. TIP: LH hat mir dieses Hotel schon mal angeboten, als mein Flug leider nicht zurück nach FRA starten konnte

Großes, schön eingerichtetes Hotel, zwar etwas Abseits gelegen und die Umgebung ist eine einfache Wohngegend. Dennoch reizvoll direkt gegenüber der Margareteninsel und man ist schnell bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Bezahlbare Parkplätze vor dem Hotel sind ein großer Pluspunkt in Budapest.

"Schönes Hotel und angenehmer Aufenthalt"Bewertet von P&R T aus "Deutschland" am 10. Apr. 2012
Lage: Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs, in einer etwas ruhigeren Seitenstraße und ist relativ einfach zu finden. Die Stadt-Busse fahren fast direkt vor dem Hotel vorbei, so dass man diese wunderbar für die Fahrt in den Stadtkern nutzten kann. Die Tickets konnten wir direkt im Hotel kaufen. Hotel: Das Hotel macht schon von Außen einen sehr schönen und gepflegten Eindruck und auch der Empfangsbreich sowie die Aufzüge und Flure alles super sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Die Empfangsmitarbeiter waren sehr nett und man konnte alles auf Deutsch erledigen. Zimmer: Die Zimmer waren sauber, nur im Bad waren ein paar kleine Stellen, die noch genauer geputzt hätten werden können und die Dusche hätte von Außen eine neue Fuge benötigt. Aber die Dusche im innreren und die Amaturen waren sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Das Bett war super bequem und auch sehr schön groß! Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk war sehr schön. Das Zimmer war sehr warm, da wir die Klimaanlage nicht zum laufen gebracht haben, aber wir haben das Fenster zum Balkon geöffnet und das war dann sehr angenehm. Schwimmbad/Restaurant: Haben wir beides nicht benutzt und können dazu nichts sagen. Frühstück: Die Auswahl war umfangreich, viele frische Früchte und Müsli, verschiedene Brote, Wurst und Käse. Auch warme Speisen. Es war für jeden etwas dabei. Tiefgarage: Wir haben den Tiefgaragenplatz genutzt, weil unser Auto ziemlich neu ist. Leider ist die Abfahrt in das zweite UG ziemglich eng und steil, so dass man vorsichtig fahren bzw. sein Auto gut kennen sollte. Aber ansonsten ist die Garage sehr parktisch und sauber. Abschließend kann man sagen, ein sehr schönes Hotel, in dem wir immer wieder übernachten würden, da es uns vor allem auf die Qualität der Betten sowie die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ankommt und diese unseren doch sehr hohen Anforderungen gerecht wurden. "Gerne wieder"
Tolle Mischung aus Lounge und Altbau. Das Personal ist total freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig. Am Buffet wurde es teilweise etwas eng wenn mehrere Leute gleichzeitg unterwegs waren. Ansonsten alles tip top.

Gelungene Mischung zwischen historischem Gebäude und moderner Einrichtung. Ruhige Lage. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Frühstücksraum eher klein. Gratis Tee, Kaffee und Mineral bis 17.00 Uhr. An der Ráday utca gibt es viele Restaurants und Bars (5 Min. zu Fuss vom Hotel).

"Tolles, empfehlenswertes Hotel"
Das Hotel Palazzo Zichy hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es verbindet alt und neu perfekt, der Service war sehr gut und die Lage ist auch perfekt, ruhig und doch in der Nähe der U-Bahn und Tram. Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt und können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Das Hotel liegt zu Fuss ca. 15 Minuten von der Fussgängerzone entfernt. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist entgegen dem was wir in den Restaurants erlebt haben totale Spitze: Freundlich, hilfsbereit mit guten Typs. Beautiful, immaculate, modern hotel within historic building, conveniently located, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast in pristine restaurant. Wonderful find!

"Very modern and nice looking"
The rooms were a little dark with wooden panel floors. Plus the position for the connecting doors were poor as it blocked the front walkway. The breakfast was good in a very nice cafe. Staff were very friendly. Area is a little in the middle of nowhere. We were driving so its not too bad. Parking is VERY hard to find anywhere in Budapest!

"The Best Service!"
Plazzo Zichy was amazing, the hotel was a beautiful mix of classic contemporary with Mordern finishing. The breakfast was amazing and the quality of the staff and service was out of this world. I would love to go back to Budapest and stay at Plazzo Zichy!
"Seasoned travelers"
We really enjoyed our stay in Budapest. The service, location and people were all enjoyable. Located right out the front entrance is a small, beautiful catholic church. When we travel,l our first stop is to find a catholic church and attend mass. It was perfect for us to have a chuch so close by. The mass was in Hungarian, but i believe they have an […] english mass on Sat. I can't say enough about Hungarian people..very warm. The only little issue we had is the water pipes drain at different hrs. If you're a light sleeper you may want to request a room that doesn't have this issue. "A Beautiful Palace"
Once owned by the Zichy family and converted into a wonderful hotel. You must take a taxi as you would have to wheel your luggage over too many cobblestones. Great free breakfast. 10 minute walk to metro.

I find it hard to find anything negative about this beautiful, contemporary boutique hotel. Perhaps it is overdoing the energy saving a bit (rooms a bit dim and water just warm), but the excellent service more than makes up for it. A relative bargain.

"Nice hotel for short stay!"
I am older and my only complaint is that the bed was too firm for my back! The decor is great, the bathroom is very nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious! I would recommend this hotel for anyone, especially young people!

We spent four nights at this hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. I would strongly recommend this to anyone visiting Budapest. The room was lovely and very clean and the staff could not have been more helpful. They breakfasts were plentiful and very tasty. It was a terrific experience.

The hotel itself is fabulous inside. Our room was completely adequate and the furnishings were nice. In fact, it seemed like a wonderful respite to the dirty, crowded streets we walked on to arrive at the hotel. Fabulous hotel with amazing staff and service. The breakfasts were wholesome,delicious and with great variety (including prose co with breakfast! The rooms were recently renovated (including heated mirrors in the bathroom that don't fog up during a shower). There are black out curtains to ensure a long uninterrupted sleep. Excellent location near Metro lines, tram line, restaurants, outdoor cafes, bars, music venues and the national museum. My wife and I are fortunate to travel the world frequently and we will return to Budapest again just to stay here and enjoy the neighborhood with the staff's expert assistance. "Honest smiles"
There is one thing that I noticed above all in the hotel. The hotel staff dooes not only smile at you in a professional way but in an honest and warm fashion. I've had several nice chats with the reception people. (Aks them who Mr. Zichy was.) Thus, it comes as no surprise they have won several Tripadvisor awards. A very classy, elegant hotel offering superb rooms and facilities at very reasonable prices. For me this is a must stay hotel in Budapest. It is a little walk from the city centre but for those not inclined to walk there is excellent public transport.

A great hotel - wonderful breakfast (included in the price). The only "downside" is it is a little bit ut of the way of the main sites, but still great value for money.

A beautiful place in a great location, room was outstanding, service was amazing - hotel was able to organise anything we wanted and their recommendations for restaurants, spa, tours, anything was based totally on our requirements. 3 days and 4 nights - we felt as relaxed and recharged as if we'd been there a week. What a great hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were very modern and clean, the free breakfast buffet was great and the parking was free. One word of caution on the parking; I was driving a small Fiat Sedici 1.6L and had trouble squeezing through the entrance to the parking area. Parking is in a courtyard. If you are driving a bigger […] car than a compact, you may have trouble fitting through the parking entrance. We had a twin bed room with a stocked refrigerator. The prices of the goods were reasonable. The room was not cramped for two adults even though we had large suitcases. The safe in the room was enough to hold two laptops, one a 17” laptop!! Therefore, we didn’t have to worry about losing any valuables. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food: pre-made omelets, eggs sunny-side up, bacon, cheeses, meats, fruit, breads, cereals, yogurt, to name as much as I can remember; and a nice little coffee machine that made just about anything. The location is a little out of the way, though. We had to walk 2 – 4 blocks to find restaurants and pubs, and the subway entrance was about 4 blocks away. However, we didn’t mind the walk for the price and quality of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there the next time I go to Budapest. Mehr

"beautiful architecture"
hotel zichy has a beautiful remodeling of the building's old architecture. their internet was free, fast, and had no connection problems. breakfast was excellent and free. parking was free. the location is in the middle of sidewalk cafes and in walking or biking distance of all of central budapest

I stayed at Hotel Palazzo Zichy for business and overall had a great experience. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and you can access many popular places (restaurants, touristic attraction etc ...) by foot. The rooms are comfortable and with contemporary furniture. As I was upgraded to a junior suite, the room was large and had a separate […] dining area and working desk. Breakfast buffet was tasty and offered plenty of choice.
