Negativ fand ich, dass wenn Allergikerbettwaesche bestellt war, dass der Housekeeping-Bereich nur eine Polyester-Decke brachte und alle Kopfkissen in Federn blieben, den Sinn versteht hier wohl keiner, somit habe ich die halbe Nacht wach gelegen. Keine Rücksicht auf Allergiker wird hier genommen. Das Frühstück ist mit 28Euro berechnet, viel zu hoch, es gibt kein frisches Obst, nur aus der Dose, den frischgepressten Orangensaft muss man suchen, auf dem Tisch fehlte die Karte, was das Hotel an Eierspeisen so zu bieten hat. Der Pool ist viel zu klein für die Groesse dieses Hotels, ebenfalls auch die Sauna. Am Eingang befindet sich der Fitnessbereich, dieser Bereich sieht gut aus, aber weiter hinten wird's peinlich, grad mal 6 Liegen zum Relaxen, was ist das denn?

Vor allem möchte ich die unglaublicheFreundlichkeit des Personals hervorheben. Die Mitarbeiter sind szets bemüht kein Wunsch offen zu lassen.Die Zimmee sind wirklich spitze und haben meine Erwartungen übertroffen.Der spa-Bereich ist etwas Besonderes und zur jeder Zeit top gepflegt.Das Restaurant bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas und ist mit das Leckerste was ich je gegessen habe.Auch hier sind sehr aufmerksame und stets zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter anzutreffen.Das Frühstück ist auch von gehobener Qualität. Alles in allem ist das Roomers eine ganz tolle Adresse um zu entspannen und sich rund um verwöhmen zu lassen. Und die top Lage ist noch das Sahnehäuptchen.Jederzeit wieder!!!!

Deutschland größter Flughafen ist 12 km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt und ein wichtiges europäisches Drehkreuz für internationale Flüge (alle 2 Minuten landet oder startet ein Flugzeug). Die 2 Terminals sind durch Shuttlebusse verbunden und in Hallen mit Restaurants und rund um die Uhr geöffneten Shops unterteilt. Die S-Bahn verbindet den Flughafen mit dem Frankfurter Hauptbahnhof. Von dort aus fahren Langstreckenzüge nach Köln und Süd-Deutschland.

"Fantastic local owned hotel!"
We love staying at locally owned hotels, and this one was great!! Lots of charm, great staff, delicious breakfast all in a quiet cute neighborhood! Rooms were spacious for our needs and very clean. We will certainly stay here again during our travels.

Quite pleasant, but basic. Typical of the area local hotels. Family run. Breakfast was quite good - not 'sunday brunch' or anything, but quite decent. I would definitely stay there again.

Quiet hotel, heated swimming pool, and great staff. Rooms are clean and reasonably priced via hotels.com. The large black mixed breed puppy Duke loves to play and chase toys, part of the hotel staff obviously.
"simple but correct"
I spend one night in this quiet hotel in a quiet neighborhood, despite the fact that it was Friday night. First got a shock when arrived around midnight. After calling the phone number on the door, I got the code to enter the main door and found my key laying on the reception desk without problem. Breakfast was no luxury but enough.

Nice quiet hotel. Up scale neighborhood. Staff was very helpful with any questions. There is a great Italian restaurant about 60 meters down the street.
"convenient to fair grounds, but not to airport"
I chose the hotel because it was listed as close to the airport and the hotel's website also claimed it was convenient to the fair grounds (which it was). What was not true was the convenience to the airport - the hotel claimed a bus ran regularly from airport, and posted directions where to find the bus on the website, but the directions were wrong. […] I ended up taking a taxi (25euro). To return to the airport, the hotel again assured me there was a bus, and gave me directions to the bus station. They failed to mention that the bus only runs once an hour on weekends! By the time I realized this at the bus station, I had to scramble to find a taxi to get to my flight. My main complaint is the utter and total indifference of the hotel staff - I had called from the US to inquire about the bus service, and asked twice in the hotel about the bus back, and neither of these times did they ever give me the real story. Other than that, the hotel was standard for a small inn in a small German town - super clean, nice reception and breakfast room with local ambiance and a great breakfast spread, and a room that is clean but functional but the opposite of cozy. On the hotels.com website, the Hotel zum Loewen is listed as an airport hotel. To me this means a hotel where you can actually see the airport in the distance. This hotel was miles from the hotel, a good 20 minute taxi drive through the countryside. It's located in a small but quite attractive village with a few local bars and a restaurant. The family […] who own and run it speak good English and were very helpful. The rooms were adequate although a little spartan for my liking. A generous breakfast was included in the price which seemed very reasonable compared with other so called airport hotels. Mehr
"Great place to stay near Frankfurt Airport"
I've stayed in numerous hotels near the airport and they were all lacking in something. This hotel has it all, if somewhat tight parking situation which I dealt with. Didn't have the breakfast, so cannot vouch for it, but the condition of the public spaces and the rooms was very good. CNN and BBC on the TV which is important to an English-speaking person. The hotel itself was extremely nice. My only complaints were that the map and directions were totally inadequate and I didn't have GPS. The hotel was difficult to find. Also, I needed to be at the airport by 0800, and breakfast wasn't served until 0800 on Saturdays and Sundays. A small inconvenience. The access to the Frankfurt airport was exceptionally […] easy. I stayed two nights. Rooms were clean and fairly roomy. The service was good. We were able to use the pool at 10 PM at night. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Internet worked well. Parking was convenient but did not have a lot of spaces. My only dislike was that the surrounding area didn't have any good restaurants or close supermarkets, but that's […] not the hotel's fault. I stayed at this hotel due to convenience of location near Frankfurt-Main and the auto shipping for my new car purchased in Germany. Has excellent dry sauna, pool, breakfast. Gym is adequate. Rooms are VERY comfortable. Service is great! It is my idea of a solid german inn.

"Pleasantly eccentric"
The decor is a mixture of bierstube, safari and tiki bar. Reception was country inn style, complete with black labrador. The room was comfortable, after I had recovered from the sight of my cot bed, the sky blue walls and the linoleum floors in the corridor. In the basement was a surprisingly good pool, which the locals used for their aquaerobics class. […] The breakfast was so-so, and I was charged for it despite having paid for it with my room ... an honest error I suspect. The hotel is 500 yards from Walldorf station, which is a cheap train ride into Frankfurt city center by suburban rail. Walldorf is surrounded by forest, offering the opportunity for walks. But, despite being close to the airport as the crow flies, it takes quite a long time by taxi or train; I tried both. Mehr
