Great clean hotel and centrally located. Internet was available in lobby but not in our room on the 4th floor.

Scotts Hotel is an excelent option for your stay!

Fantastic location with wonderful parking facilities.The outstanding feature of this hotel is the staff-friendly,helpful and knowledgeable about their town and its facilities.

This hotel lobby is terrific, the bar areas are fresh and modern, the location couldnt be better to walk to restaurants and shops, however the rooms are very old and worn looking. The hallways smell of smoke, the beds are somewhat hard, the bathroom and furnishings are very old and the carpets are badly stained. For the cheap price, this is fine for […] a quick night. Mehr

Excellent breakfast and good location

We were at the hotel for a group reunion and it was ideally situated in the middle of the town. The staff were great and there were no issues checking in early as the room was already ready. The hotel shares the gym with another hotel. A great band played that night in the courtyard. Breakfast was good. Note: It may not be suited for family getaways […] or if you retire to bed early as you will not get any sleep if you are in rooms close to the courtyard especially on the weekends. Mehr

Hotel lovely staff very nice bar menu quiet nice and very central to all bars and resturants

Great location right in the centre of Killarney. Little noisy at night but quiet once pub closes,usually not home until then anyway. Good parking facility under hotel. Breakfast alright. Reasonably priced. All in all very convenient, clean and friendly.

Could not fault this hotel. Prime location in city centre for pubs, excursions and sight seeing. We ate in the restaurant and food was excellent. Plenty of choice for breakfast and room was really nice and very clean. Cannot praise this hotel enough!

At the time of booking, I called Hotel.com to let they know I needed a quiet room. They supposedly sent my request to the hotel. The hotel never received it. I advised the front staff that I need a quiet room due to insomnia. The guy at the front desk said he put me in room away from the clubs and therefore quieter. What he didn't tell me was he gave […] me a room above the carpark (entrance to the parking) and where the coaches drop off/pick up their passengers. It was the worse 3 nights sleep I've had in a long time. The room was so close to ground level I could hear a woman's heel clicking on the pavement at 2 o'clock in the morning. I let the staff know the following morning but they said to call them in the evening or in the morning since the hotel was full up. Apparently they received some senior tour groups and were full up. I didn't bother to get the room change because every evening or morning I saw another tour group arrive. I had a full breakfast as part of my deal. If you are vegetarian, don't bother paying for the breakfast meal. I was disappointed with the selection. Toast and some cheese slices are hardly a breakfast. The staff did provide mint tea which was super. But they should provide a better selection of fruits and cheeses. Fruits in some syrupy liquid is not fresh fruit. They had a nice juice selection. But when it came to a fry up, they should provide the option of hash browns or baked beans. I dined out after the first morning since I didn't want to starve. The bathroom in my hotel was fabulous. The hotel's bed was really nice. Although, I couldn't get all the television channels in my room. The staff did try to fix it. I kept getting doubles of channels. The staff were able to get me one more channel but not all the channels listed on the brochure in the room. I would recommend this hotel if your are staying for one night. If you listen to your ipod while you sleep then the noise outside won't bother your for a night. The female front desk p Mehr

This was our favorite hotel in Ireland! The staff was especially friendly; they booked our boat tour and offered umbrellas when it rained. Scotts also offers free underground parking which was essential in this small town. It was also well decorated and clean. And, located in the heart of the town. It was easy to walk to restaurants, shops, etc.

We loved our Ireland experience and this was our favorite area. The people are warm, inviting and always willing to help. The hotel is very convenient to the bus & train services with car rental right around the corner. Killarney is a quaint little town with beautiful scenery around the Ring of Kerry. Skilleg Michael is a must see!! Walk through the […] town where live Irish music is in most of the quaint pubs. The National park is breathtaking. Door slamming seems to be prominent in all the places we stayed due to the fact there are fire safety codes and the weight of the doors. We never quite got used to it :) It did effected sleep but was a small price to pay for the beauty of the people and their country. Mehr

We recently stayed 4 nights at the Scotts Hotel in Killarney. It is very centrally located in Killarney, just steps away from the shopping and night life in the Killarney downtown area. Their free parking and free internet make their prices even a better deal. The last three night we upgraded to a suite - very spacious living room, dining area and […] mini kitchen with a microwave and small refrigerator. The only downside was the plumbing in the shower didn't work very well... low water pressure and hard to regulate the temperature... but by this time, we had kind of gotten used to this in the hotels in Ireland... so we didn't complain. Other than the shower issue, we really enjoyed this hotel and highly recommend it to others. Mehr

The Scotts is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Shopping and pubs are surround the hotel. It is a five minute walk from the train/bus station in Killarney. The amenities were wonderful, nice bar/restaurant within the hotel as well. I would definitely stay there again - it is a bit pricey, but the location is worth it.

Scotts is a lovely hotel, very modern. It was a cold weekend but the hotel rooms were warm and inviting. Our room could do with a bit of updating though. I stayed about a year ago and stayed in a lovely modern room, was expecting the same, i was a little bit disappointed about this. The breakfast was tasty, no complaints there!

hotel is in the town centre, rooms however are in need of refurbishment , have no climate control and heating didnt not come on till evening. great bar food to be had in adjoining bar.

scots is in the centre of killarney.has an free underground car park (you can use it all the next day).the room was very nice.with free internet for my lap top.we will stay again.

This Hotel ticks all the boxes you need ticking when away on a weekend with the girls. I could not fault it (Except for the dull receptionist).

Scotts was spot on, as described in the website preview. It was modern, clean, very central, and there was live music in the bar/courtyard every night until 11. Well stocked Bar. Bedrooms were clean, comfortable and well apponted for a Three Star. rooms cleaned daily. Even if you have 'Do not disturb' on the door, staff will leave a fresh bag of towels/toiletries […] on the door for you. Nice! Price was reasonable, but at that price breakfast should have been included - there are three star hotels in Dublin that you get breakfast included for a lot less. So there ended up being a lot of 'add-ons' on the checking out bill. They dont like giving you an extention to your checking out time, even if there is no-one going into the room you are leaving. You will be lucky to get 1 hour more. READ THE SMALL PRINT! All in all, did what it said on the tin, and is okay. 3 out of 5. Mehr

This is a very nice hotel! Would highly recommend! Within walking distance of everything! Everyone was super/helpful! Graet place to stay in Killarney!!! :O)

Vi var 2 par, og vi blev opgraderet til et fælles appartment. Nyt og dejligt indrettet. Det eneste, vi var utilfredse med var, at vi måtte vente 15-20 min. hver dag på at få vores morgenmad. Hotellets restaurant havde nået bristepunktet. Der var irsk folkemusik i gården 2 aftener ud af 3, herligt. Hotellet ligger meget centralt. Turen "The Ring of Kerry" […] foregik med opsamling på dette hotel også. Megte tilfredsstillende. Mehr
