Das Hotel in Killarney liegt ein wenig außerhalb der Innenstadt, was uns jedoch bewusst war. Aufgrund der 4 Sterne und unseren anderen Hotels während unserer kleinen Irland-Rundreise, hatten wir uns ein wenig mehr vorgestellt. Die Zimmer waren recht einfach ausgestattet, aber sehr sauber.

This hotel is just outside Killarney in Fossa. Parking is easy, unlike some hotels in the town. It is on the road to the ring of Kerry and next to the road for Dingle. If you plan to visit these places it is ideal. The rooms are spacious and very clean. If you like a powerful shower this will suit you. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The […] food was good and plentiful. There are no tea making facilities in the room but you can get complementary tea from the bar. I would book here if I visit the area again. Mehr

We arrived quite late, and though the restaurant was closed, the front desk attendant had dinner made for us! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, though a bit outdated. The location is a bit out of town, but it's worth the short commute.

The only negative things I can say are that 1. There was no tea making facilities in the room and 2. Our double bed was actually two single beds pushed together. But apart from that we had a lovely stay in beautiful surroundings. Staff were very friendly too

We had no idea while making our trip plans that we would fall in love with Killarney, and looking back we wish we had stayed more than a single night! Our first impression of Killarney was arriving at the Travel Inn, and a what a great impression it made! We instantly felt welcomed and comfortable, the staff did everything in their power to assure our […] stay would be excellent...and it was!!! Our dinner was amazing and the bar was fantastic! A special to Christine and Karen for their wonderful customer service! We hope to return to Killarney for a much longer stay and you can bet we will be returning to The Travel Inn! Top class hotel that provided excellent service, a room that was clean & spacious, a fine resturant/bar in the foyer & a convenient location that allowed my wife & I to enjoy the surrounding area by car.

Hotel is west of Tipperary in Fossa and was easy to locate. Old but quaint. There was a moutain view and a horse farm across the street from the front of the hotel. No Wi-Fi.

This is a very comfortable hotel which although budget in price is certainly not budget on quality. We were all very pleasantly surprised and would come back again for a short stay.

This is a great hotel and the staff is very friendly. We lucked out on the night that we arrived as they had a band playing traditional music and several locals dancing Irish dances. It was such a treat!

Done for 3 days hill walking in the Reeks so this hotel was ideally situated on the convenient side of Killarney about 3 miles out. Slight drawback was lack of tea making facilities in room but staff were more than happy to fill a flask for me at breakfast. Broad band access, which was mentioned as being a facility, is not possible in bedroom but can […] be gotten in the hotel lobby if you have a lap top with you. Continental breakfast included but if you want a full breakfast, there's an extra charge. Can strongly recommend the small restaurant in the pub beside the hotel for evening meals, great food and service. Hotel interior very well presented but exterior adjacent to the Hotel's bar untidy with cigarette butts not gathered daily. Mehr

This hotel was fantastic and just a few miles from Killarney town center. The staff was amazing and the rooms were really nice and most of all very comfy. I did not need to ask twice for anything from staff and free wi-fi was also supplied. I will defo be going back to stay with this hotel. top hotel

Very nice experience all around. It was away from the hustle and bustle of town, but convenient if you have a car. Very nice staff. Food was good and reasonably priced.

Travel Inn Killarney/Fossa was a great place to stay with friendly and helpful staff and a nice clean room. The pub/restaurant was very nice too. It was a great location convenient to Killarney, Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula.

After some initial issues with the room, we grew to like our stay. We used the hotel for a base to explore Kerry and nearby attractions. The hotel is not in Killarney, but that's okay since Killarney was a disappointment. Our room had a fantastic view but was a bit noisy with the windows open. There is no official Internet access in the room, but we […] were able to pick up the reception's wireless router and they kindly gave us the user/password they use. Otherwise, there is an absurdly expensive PC in the lobby to use. We made our own breakfast, but we ate in the bar which had very good food at a reasonable price. I'd recommend the hotel mostly for the spacious rooms and suite-style accommodation for more than 2 travellers. Mehr

This is not a 4stars hotel! It looks really cheap. The location is bad if you are planning to visit killarney. I would recomend to look for something else in the city. Above all the hotel changed the name and it was really hard to find it.

The food in the hotel restaurant was average at best. I asked for a non-dairy alternative to what was on the menu, and they ended up adding cream to my meal! The bread in the breakfast room had mould on it. I was not impressed at all. Staff were ok but not great. Rooms were clean, so it would be fine if you didn't want to eat there. very nice hotel 5 mins from killarney pitty no tea or coffee faciltys in the room staff very friendly nice bar also!!

As Americans, the beds and rooms in Ireland were smaller than we're used to. Not here, where we had a queen size bed, nice bath, and separate living area with kitchen, small fridge, and two couches, one of which pulled out. The hotel is only a couple of kilometers from the town center on the way to the Ring of Killarney. The staff at the desk was very […] helpful, quickly getting us an extra night and cancelling our reservation in Galway--we needed to relax for a while. excellent value for money,only a five minute drive from city centre,as room had a small kitchen with a toaster,kettle and microwave it enabled us to have our own breakfast at our on leisure and as we had children with us this suited us all the more as we could bring food back from outside the hotel too.

We stayed only one night and thought our room was gorgeous We just had a double room not a full suite. Everything about the hotel was extremely clean. Contact with staff was minimal. Hotel bar/restaurant was functional quite comfortable but sterile, we didn't eat there so can't comment on the quality of the food. Nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux, une chambre immense au delà de nos espérances. c'est un hôtel très calme (mi septembre), d'un propreté irréprochable (comparé aux autres ques nous avons pu voir), la salle de bain est en très bon état voir neuve. Hotellet ligger ved 2 større veje, men lydisoleringen er temmelig ringe, både udadtil og mellem værelserne. Samtidig havde vi bestilt en suite ½ år før ankomst, men blev alligevel nedgraderet dagen før vores ankomst. Til gengæld er de ansatte enormt servicemindede og klar til at hjælpe på alle mulige måder. Pub'en er af god kvalitet, og der er små børne-æsker […] med underholdning. Restauranten er ok, men mangler udsugning over maden og er ikke videre organiseret. Maden er dog god nok. Hotellet ligger ret langt fra bymidten, og har en stor parkeringsplads. Så alt i alt: ok faciliteter men enormt amatør-agtig administration. Og pas på gulvet i foyer'en, det kan være hammerglat. Mehr

Wij kregen ongevraagd een kamer voor invalidengebruik toegewezen. Douche hing daardoor te laag en wasbak was veel te klein. Beetje onhandig.
