Es war ein günstiges Angebot (3 Nächte für den Preis von 2). Der Weg bis zum Zentralen Busbahnhof Sofia ist sehr kurz (800m), war für micht mit entscheident bei der Auswahl. Der Weg bis zum Stadtzentrum ist ca. 2 km und mit kleinen Gschäften bestückt. Interessant auf dem Weg die Markthalle, hier kann man sich günstig versorgen. Die Lage des Hotels ist für eine Stadttour optimal. Es war etwas schwierig, Informationen über Fahrkarten für öffentliche Verkehrsmittel zu bekommen (Wo kauft man ein Straßenbahnticket?) Es gab viel Zubehör zum SPA-Bereich (z.B. Bademantel), aber eine Badekappe für das Schwimmbad sollte man mitbringen oder kaufen!!!! Die Sitzmöglichkeiten beim Frühstück […] sind etwas unbequem, zu niedrige Tische und Sessel. Insgesamt werden wir das Hotel weiter empfehlen. Mehr

Ich brauchte ein Hotel in der Direkten Nähe des Busbahnhofs und nicht zuweit von der City, somit war die Lage perfekt. Das Hotel wird von vielen Reisegruppen besucht, die auf Rundreise sind. Ist aber keine Nachteil da durch die Größe des Hauses trotzdem die Ruhe sichergestellt ist. Wer das Haus früh verlassen muss kann sich ein Frühstückspäckchen machen […] lassen. Vier Sterne in Sofia dürfen nicht mit vier Sternen in Frankfurt oder München gleichgesetzt werden, aber vier Sterne in London oder Paris sind auch weniger wie in Deutschland. Ich kam um ca. 12 Uhr im Hotel an. Dort teilte man mir mit, dass der Check-in erst um 14 Uhr stattfinden würde. Im Hotelzimmer endlich angekommen, entdeckte ich im Kühlschrank nicht entfernte Kuchenreste. Ein ungustiöser Anblick! (4 Sterne?!) Im Frühstücksraum stehen zu viele große Tische (jeweils für ca. 10 Personen) und viel zu wenig kleinere. Das […] Frühstück in Ruhe und vor allem ohne fremde Personen am Tisch einzunehmen ist fast unmöglich. Wenn man schwimmen möchte (und das Schwimmbad ist super!), wird man immer hinsichtlich überteuerter Massage gefragt (100 Euro) und das nervt auf Dauer! Insgesamt ist das Hotel aber trotz dieser Unannehmlichkeiten mit Recht ein 4 Sterne Hotel in zentraler Lage. Bei entsprechendem Angebot komme ich gerne wieder. Mehr

the hotel was great in all respects and very convient for onward travel by autobus .However when booking I was informed that a shuttle bus would pick up from Airport and transport to hotel, and indeed this was part of the booking confirmation instructions issued online. i was stranded at the airport at 0300am and when I telephoned the hotel was informed […] that the shuttle ceased at 2100hrs each evening but, they would send transport at a cost to me of 57euro's, which I declined very politely and climbed on a tax1 for 15 lev. this time i took a superior room, i was in the hotel for second time. During first time the pool was amazing ..unfortunately this time the water of the pool was too cold, so it wasn´t possible to use the pool :-( There isn´t any difference between standard and superior room....only that the superior room has a mini bar. I thought that the superior rooms […] might have a safe.....but it isn´t so :-( in all case u have to use the lockers close to hotel entrance, every time you must ask at reception for the "master key"....if you would loose your locker key, you are obligated to pay 100 Euro (!)... So I would be happy if the Dedeman 4 star hotel would have a safe in all rooms and the pool water should have at least 24 °C ... and not 18 °C or less like last time. Thank you. The breakfast is all the time the same and not very special. What I like, is the free shuttle service from and to the airport. Mehr

For the price I paid I expected more from the 4* hotel. Room was not so clean and poorly maintained. They even asked me for extra money when my guest arrived, how rude. Breakfast and the swimming pool was the only good thing there. I definitely do not recommend this hotel!

Best part are value for money, free WiFi, airport shuttle and nice pool and spa inside hotel. Location OK but about a 20 minute walk to central Sofia. Could use some upgrades to interior. Breakfast not the best. Service of staff was very good.

This hotel had many positive things: location was good not to far from downtown, WI-FI, airport shuttle, nice pool, good breakfast and standard rooms. They should upgrade the TVs to flat ones and renovate the curtains. I stayed in total about 8 nights in the Hotel. The Hotel WAS one of the best Hotels in Sofia, long time ago. It is about 30 years old, and today, It can't really be considered as 4 strar. Although the room rates are not that expsnive, they have very high prices for Mini-Bar and Restaurant Services. The worst is, that the Hotel is totally mismanaged. […] I saw people getting totally mad on the staff, and it took them also always an half an hour to find my reservation. The Hotel is near the bus station of Sofia, at nights, it is not really the safest place of the town. General impression is that the Hotel has seen by far it's best days, and you better stay away from it. Mehr

The hotel is within walking distance to the main touristic attractions, bus station and shopping areas. The staff is very helpful and courteous and they do their utmost to make your stay a memorable one. The rooms are spacious and very clean.

Based on a previous very ggod experience with the Dedeman Hotel in Plovdiv, I booked a room in the same chain in Sofia but it is day and night. The hotel in Plovdiv was absolutely excellent, the one in Sofia much below my expectations : first poor contact with the parking employee who did not commit himself at all, the reception did not give a remarkable […] performance, the cards for the room door did not work and needed 2/3 visits back to the reception, the of bung the sink did not work, the flush of the toilets did not work either as well as the lavatory pan was not correctly fixed. A very cheap decoration but the bed was good. Mehr

I have no idea whatsoever as to how you can classify and sell this as a 4 star hotel or what kind of grading system is used. This at most is a 2 star hotel. A few nights prior to staying here I stayed in a very nearby 4 star that is zeons away in terms of quality. Nice staff (generally) and good breakfast. Rest is 2 star.

Nice business hotel. services was great. Especially appreciated their cigar room and decent selection. Building is a bit old, but definetely much better than anything around.

Upon arrival our reservation had not been recieved though we had booked over 3 days prior - in the process of finding this reservation we were treated as if we did not belong there - staff was quite condescening and abrupt, I was shown a map of the area and it was pointed out to me 'here is all the stuff'' with a general wave of the hand refering to […] Sofia historical and cultural sites. All of our questions were met with very little to no information save one young man who we encountered once who was very gracious. The female staff in particular usually passed us off to the doorman because they seemed to possess no knowledge of our local inquiries. By these staff members I was actually scoffed at. The room was very tight, the climate control never seemed to work though I was assured it was fine - yet the room was always hot. When we arrived there were small hairs around the shower and the room had only one very small waste basket in the bathroom. Only two towels and cups etc in a triple room and only 1 roll of toilet paper. In general it seemd very clear we were not welcome there and I would not recommend this chain to anyone. Regardless of how well the 'important guests' are treated, we were treated terribly for the service I expect what proposes itself to be a 4 star, world class hotel. Mehr

No complains att all. We got everything we expected

This was my second stay at the Dedeman (the first being in the summer of 2010). While my first experience was great, the second was so substandard that I will not stay in this facility again. Reasons include: 1. Room was dirty: I found a stain on the bed sheets of what looked like tea or coffee. Carpets in the rooms also appeared unclean. 2. Sink […] in the bathroom was not working: when i first discovered that, I couldn't believe it. For the price I paid, this, in addition to the dirty rooms, was unacceptable. 3. Staff did not deliver wake-up call in the morning. Had i relied on them, I would have missed my flight. After I complained to the manager in the facility, they moved me to another room WITHOUT coming in to see what the problems I had with the room were. This means that this room will not be improved and another unfortunate guest will experience this inconvenience again. Although the location of the hotel is good, I won't stay there again. There are plenty of other options in Sofia. Mehr

Hotel was very clean and i can tell you that i found the room aminities matching the 5 stars hotels ...it is good hotel for leisure as much as for corporate

hotel is located right across the street from the central bus station and a five+minute walk from the train station. walking to the center of town is a good 15 minute walk.(over a kilometer. ) until 2017, the area is in reconstruction, and no bus goes there directly. i suggested to management they inaugurate an hourly shuttle.hotel staff is outstanding, […] rooms are neatly furnished, and all contain large bath tubs. a pianist and violinist provide music in the bar area and lounge in the evening. a 25 meter swimming pool is an added bonus. for those interested in massages, the area around the pool resembles the best that turkey has to offer . hotel personnel will arrange trips for sites for guests willingly. if i would ever return to sofia, i could not consider staying anywhere else. good all round hotel excellent ameanities , although disappointed concerning the free airport shuttle bus timetable , meant we had to get taxis instead , and the buffet breakfast didnt have much choice , The hotel was very nice overall , The reception pointed us in the direction of a great traditonal Bulgarian restraunt and the food and atmosphere there […] was great and only five mins walk . close to the railway and main bus terminal. area around is a litle run down but the hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. Staff very effiecent and friendly. Breakfast good most morning but not always.

Business trip. Convenient shuttle bus from / to airport, free of charge. Chosen for the swimming pool; it is ok I must admit. Size is 25m, water a bit cold, and not that clean (a bit foggy). It is based in the hotel, and has a sauna, bar and massage too. Hotel is a bit run down, smell of cigarette smoke a bit, carpet a bit old; could do with new paint. Rooms […] are ok size, nothing special but quiet and comfortable. No payTV, but free internet works fine. Location seems convenient. Breakfast room is terribly old fashioned, no windows, so the atmosphere is weird. Buffet is good though not included (6euro i think it costs). Service is friendly, which is rare, and prompt, also rare. All in all this hotel is a good deal for Sofia, ideal for a short biz trip, but it will not be remembered for longer or romantic stays. there wasn't anything unsatisfactory about this hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The free shuttle bus driver (to and from the airport) was simply a delight and particularly friendly and informative (Simeon). The Meridien dining area was functional but not flashy. Casino hotel which helps to subsidise the room prices. Hotel rooms spacious and clean. The only problem was with the aircon which, by default, doesn't appear to work. Once you complaion at reception they fix it for you. Excellent spa facilities with large swimming pool and sauna, turkish baths etc. Breakfast is good, coffee could be better. Staff […] are very friendly and helpful. Location not perfect as it is a bit of a walk to the city centre (10 - 15 minutes). However this is not really a problem as taxi's are cheap. Jakość obsługi bardzo dobra za wyjątkiem tego, że pokojówki czy inny personel po prostu pukały i wchodziły do pokoju. Poza tym obsług ok. Pokój czysty, komfortowy, łazienka wygodna. Basen robiący wrażenie. Ogólnie bardzo ok, jedynie śniadanie mimo dużego wyboru jakościowo było rawie nie do przełknięcia

l'hotel est situé assez loin du centre, l'endroit n'est pas très rassurant durant la nuit. Petit déjeuner décevant pour un 4 *. Atmosphère sympa pour la piscine, mais l'eau n'est pas très chaude et il faut impérativement un bonnet de bain pour se baigner. staff sympa

bien situé pas trop loin du centre ville, SPA génial c du jamais vu décors et ambiance romantique et relaxante: l'idéal pour déstresser du travail et rythme de paris sinon les chambres sont moyennes pas trop confortables mais un petit dej copieux

Good hotel for Sofia with rooms spacious and clean. Comfortable large beds Aircon is rather strong and it cannot de switched of from the room. Excellent spa facilities with large swimming pool and sauna, etc. Good choice for breakfast, although there is no orange juice (instead there is some drink with yellow color). Upon arrival, staff asks authorization […] to debit cart for 100 euros as I have booked hotel rom by internet. Hotel is situated a bit of a walk to the city centre (10 - 15 minutes) and it is rather difficult to walk with children as roads are damaged. So it is preferable to take a taxi, as there are a lot and it is very cheap. Hotel is just around the corner from the bus and train stations. Would definately recommend Mehr

This hotel is OK, if you like walking, It is far from city center, but right beside the train and busstations. There was a swimmingpool, but it seems to work as a public swimmingpool, and remember your own bathing cap (i don't know why?). Breakfast was terrible. We ate there only once out of 3 due to the low standard.
