B-Aparthotel Grand Place - Brüssel

Das grosszügige Appartement war schön und mit Allem ausgestattet, zudem sehr ruhig mit Fenster zum Innenhof. Die Lage ist ideal für Stadtbesitigung; man ist in wenigen Schritten am Grand Place und in der anderen Richtung am La Monnaie, was für uns ideal war.

I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The location was excellent- and my room was quiet. The room was very nice, clean, and modern with everything I could have needed EXCEPT a couple of English language TV channels. My associate had a Double room and his had more channels including BBC. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay and very close to Grand Place. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, as well as the train station. The only drawback is getting in to this place! If you aren't there between the listed hours, you are in a bit of a jam. You need the code to get in the front door, and then a different code to access the lock box where your checkin […] envelope is!!! This is NOT emailed to you if you book through Hotels.ca. We met a gentleman coming out of the building who gave us the door code. He then suggested we call the hotel's emergency number and get assistance that way. It worked. Just make sure you contact the hotel directly before you stay here, or go when they have posted checkin hours (not an option for us!). Don't let this deter you from staying here, as it really is a great place to stay!!! Very clean, large suite, parking available, restaurant available. We circled the block three times trying to find this hotel. The GPS kept telling us to turn down a very narrow street that was closed to vehicle traffic, so not the Hotel's fault. We finally ended up calling the hotel and were told that the front entrance was down the closed road. There is no on-site reception staff and my wife had to recite her credit […] card number over her mobile phone outside the locked door before they would give her the PIN. Not very safe for her while I waited in the car. The door code was supposed to have been emailed to us. We never received anything from the hotel, just the emails from Hotels.com. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The in room phone didn't work so we had to use our foriegn mobile phone to make very expensive local calls. There was also a missing light bulbs in the desk lamp and the lavatory sink handle fell off the first time we used it! The shower flooded the bathroom too. The complimentary coffee pods were not replaced during our stay either. All in all a lot of little things that add up to a somewhat frustrating stay! Mehr

We chose the B-Aparthotel due to its proximity to all the siteseeing locations. However, finding it was very hard. The hotel is not accessible to a street where cars are allowed. Once we found an underground parking lot, we ventured to find the hotel. When we finally found the hotel, it was about 5pm, we tried to access the hotel and had no luck. We […] had to use our cell phone (with roaming charges), to contact the 24 hour help desk. That person then gave us the access code to enter the hotel and then gave us the code for the box which had our hotel key. Additionally, there was never an active clerk in the lobby area. And they did not provide maid services on the weekends. In the event that we needed an extra towel, we would have been out of luck. All of this being said, the room was really nice and clean. It was really a one bedroom apartment. It had a stove, a full refrigerator, dish washer, kitchen with dishware, and a living area. The room was very clean. Also - breakfast was not served in the vicinity. It was at a local restaurant that partnered with B-Aparthotel. Overall, not bad for the price. Mehr

This hotel is in a great location in the center of Brussels, but you wouldn't know it by how quiet the hotel is. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Huge, modern room in excellent location, near Grand Place and Central Station. Stayed for 3 nights, but would have been very comfortable there for a much longer stay. It was also a great value for the money. Had no problem with check-in since I made sure I had the two code numbers in advance. The only problem was that there was no staff at this location […] other than the maid service. There is a phone number where someone can be reached during the day and an emergency after hours number. Everything worked very well,the location is excellent,walkng distance to the must-see old twon places,restaurantes,museums,etc.Very much convenient.Good value for money.

Excellent room and location, however I didn't get codes and got lucky and found another guest to help me. It could have been a nightmare. Make sure you get the codes.

After reading many reviews on this hotel and other similar hotels nearby and in the same price range, I decided to book our 5-night trip here. I had read some other reviews regarding the difficult check-in process. I will confirm that checking in can be problematic at this hotel. I booked the hotel knowing that we could not check in until 2pm. We arrived […] at the hotel around 1pm just to see if we could get in early. We found no staff present. There was a sign on the outside door reading that we could let ourselves in using the 4-digit key code provided with our reservation confirmation. However, I had no such key code. Even now, I have triple-checked all emails received regarding my hotel booking and I was never sent a key code. Only a few minutes after we arrived at the front door, another party of 3 arrived. They also had booked their room on hotels.com (British version) and they also were never provided a key code. Further, the following day, when we were heading out to do some sightseeing at about 10am, there was yet another single guest outside the front door. He said he was also never provided a key code when he made his reservation. Now, you'll see I gave this hotel a 5-star review, because as you'll read below, everything else went very smoothly. However, if you think you'll need to check in to this hotel before 2pm, I highly recommend you do NOT book this hotel because you'll simply not be able to check in. We went and did some sightseeing and came back to the front door at 2:05pm and sure enough, there was a staff member present, just as planned. She buzzed us in the front door. (She claimed that we should have been provided a key code when we reserved the room and didn't know why we didn't have one!) Check-in was otherwise smooth. We received the exact room we had booked. The location was great, and it was quite clean, perfect room, The only inconvenience is that I could never find anyone in reception, even though they were suppose to be there between 8 am till 5pm...Check in on sunday evening was an adventure as nobody was there and even though there was an emergency mobile number I wasn't able to get an answer! So […] make sure if you book here to contact the hotel in advance to find out the check in procedure as it is not as easy as usual and the hotel won't send you any information of how to do it...Other than that it was very good! Great location, close to the Grand Place and many good restaurants. Specious apartment with modern interior design. A good value for money.

Although the hotel is on a very small street that is not easily found, especially upon arrival...even the taxi driver from the airport had trouble is really in a great location behind the Grand Place and located relatively close to both the Metro and the Central Station which I did use to go back to the Airport. Five Euro compared to my Fifty Euro taxi […] ride. In any case I found the room given to me to be great, it was very large by European hotel comparison and very modern...but again if you are looking for room service or concierge service this is not your place. There is no one there on the weekend including maid service so I am not sure how any problems would have been handled although you do have phone numbers to call...I did not have any issues other than a phone that did not dial out but could receive calls...so I guess I really would have had an issue if something happened??? As you can see from my rating, I would stay here again...also close to shopping, great restauraunts and a corner store. Mehr

10 min walk from the Grand Central train station and 3 min walk from the Markt square. Rooms spacious and convenient; clean. Although windows are double-pane, street noise is still substantial. WiFi available, supposedly 10 EUR/night but the hotel did not charge me for WiFi. If you are checking in outside of 8 AM to 5 PM hours, call in advance to […] get the codes to get in and get your keys. If you requested any additional items like a rollaway bed, check with them on the day of arrival to ensure that the items are provided. Mehr

Check in was a huge headache. Be careful. Once you are in the hotel is unbeleivable...

The rooms were great-kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were a bit hard, but acceptable. Internet service was good. However, check in was very difficult, as you have to call for a door code prior to arrival, and their hours for answering the phone are limited. You are pretty much on your own here. Staff was only present in this location twice during […] the week. Internet password says it's good for a day, but lasted several days (maybe an accumulation?) and then stopped working. Had to call to get another Internet password that worked. Laundry room is in a dark garage, and a little scary. No instuctions for how to use the washer and dryer. Dryer didn't completely dry clothes, even on the highest heat setting. Mehr

This hotel just opened in May. the location is fabulous; just a few steps from the Grand' Place, yet on a pedestrian street, so quiet for the most part. We had essentially a suite: living room, bedroom, pretty well equipped kitchen, including dishwasher,and bathroom with separate tub and shower. decor attractive and somewhat "high concept", 2 nice flat-screen […] TVs. But basically the hotel was opened before it was finished. Two nice pictures were not on the wall because the strings with which to hang them were broken. There were no batteries in the remote for the TV in the bedroom, no bulb in the desklamp (we stayed for 3 nights and informed management of this our first morning). The bathtub had not been cleaned from the previous guest (ring), there was no way we could see to plug the bathroom sink, and there were no instructions available on anything. We didn't mind that the front desk is manned only from 8-5, though a late arrival might. Once they get their act together, this is going to be a great hotel; as it was, it was excellent value for the money. PS Our rate included breakfast, which consisted of 3 rolls a box of juice, and a little ham and cheese. If you don't get breakfast included, they charge 10 Euros, way too much, since there are some nice cafes where you can get breakfast at a fraction of the cost. Also, there's one of those pod coffeemakers (no instructions, but I figured it out), and you get only the first day free. Chintzy if you ask me. Mehr

The location is good with easy access to the old center. However, maintenance appears to have been spotty. The tops of dressers had large deposits of dust. The room was very large and in that way was a good value. The beds we more cots and some may find that uncomfortable. Getting to the top floor required going up one flight of stairs. Having large […] or many bags would be difficult. Even though the apartment was on the top floor, you could hear a great deal of street noise. Mehr

Op zich een prima hotel op een fijne locatie. Goed bed, goede zitbank en voldoende licht. Alleen was in de bevestiging van mijn reservering niet vermeld hoe ik binnen moest komen. Dankzij een toevallig binnenkomende gast en een speurtocht die mij bij een medewerkster van het aanpalende restaurant bracht die voor mij telefoneerde kon ik op mijn kamer […] komen. Mehr

Hotel muy céntrico, amplias habitaciones, cómodo. Es conveniente si se llega en fin de semana contactar con el hotel previamente para que te envien por email las claves de acceso para entrar al hotel, pues no hay nadie en recepción. Hay pocos utensilios de cocina (algun plato más, cubiertos). Por lo demás todo correcto

Pesima experiencia. Nadie nos aviso que no hay recepcionista y que tienes que tener unas claves para abrir la puerta de entrada y luego para obtener la llave de la habitacion. No existe nadie que pueda solucionarte ni asistirte en tu estancia en el hotel. No lo recomiendo.

El apartahotel de Bruselas está magníficamente situado, al lado de la Grand Place, en pleno Ilôt Sacré, también está a cien metros de la Catedral. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y cómodas, la cocina completamente equipada y el baño completo y muy espacioso. Son unos apartamentos comídisimos por situación y accesibilidad, el apartamento en sí estaba muy bien, sin embargo la limpieza es pésima, no existe atención al cliente y el menaje de la cocina es insuficiente.

Le point noir c'est l'accueil inexistant quand vous arrivez devant la porte de l'hôtel fermée avec obligation de rentrer votre code d'accès qui ne vous a jamais été délivré par mail avant votre départ !.... aucune indication sur la porte pour trouver où s'adresser pour pouvoir entrer !!! L'indication se trouve à l'intérieur dans le hall d'entrée....nous […] avons eu la chance de croiser une personne sortant de l'hotel qui nous a permis de rentrer dans le hall... sinon, nous n'aurions pas pu récupérer l'adresse où se rendre pour récupérer notre mot de passe... c'est un peu léger comme accueil... Hotel très agréable par sa situation, son environnement , son calme (bien isolé) même si la rue est un peu agitée le soir. Had prblems from a late checkin, and no code to get in the hotel. My phone did not work, an got help from a neigbour to solve some probs. I will ´not stay there again. Although the room was ok and the location great.

Vi visste inte att man var tvungen att kod för att komma in eftersom vi inte hade fått information om detta. Men när vi väl kom in blev vi glatt överraskade . Fräsch och stor lägenhet med ett toppen läge, nära bryssels alla restauranger. Kan absolut tänka mig att åka tillbaka!

Hôtel..?..non il n'y a pas d'accueil..ni de personnel à notre arrivée....cela dit..très bon confort...calme et très bien situé...Merci pour l'alarme incendie à 6H du mat....

EL HOTEL ESTA MUY BIEN SITUADO, PERO LA HABITACION QUE NOS DIERON LAS VENTANAS DABAN A UNA CALLE CON UN RUIDO DE TRAFICO INSOPORTABLE POR LA NOCHE. LA INSONORIZACION DE LAS VENTANAS TOTALMENTE NULA. EN FIN VILVERIA AL HOTEL PERO SI ME DIERAN OTRA HABITACION.

appartement très moderne, très bien placé (rue piétonne), à proximité des restaurants, de la Grand Place de Bruxelles et des commerces. Très agréable. Si ce n'est quelques soucis pour récupérer notre carte d'accès au logement : personne pour vous accueillir, veillez bien à imprimer lors de votre réservation le code de la porte extérieure ainsi que le […] code du coffre qui se situe dans le hall d'accueil et où se trouve votre carte-clé. super rien a redire, propre, élégant, très confortable de quoi passer un bon moment. attention pas de réception le weekend il faut téléphoner en semaine pour avoir les codes d'accès

Bien dans l'ensemble. Attention si vous venez en voiture bien chargé. vous ne pouvez pas vous garer a proximité. Mais vous pouvez prendre une place de parking à 25€ / jour . Dans notre appartement pas de cuisine mais juste un micro-onde.

Innsjekking etter kl. 17 er litt knotete da vi ikke hadde fått oppgitt inngangskode eller kode for å åpne boksen hvor hotellnøklene er oppbevart (i konvolutter med navn påskrevet). Alt annet, renhold, rom, beliggenhet etc. er helt topp.

De kamer was goed ingericht, voldeed daarmee aan onze verwachtingen, echter er waren wat lampjes die niet werkten. Van het lampje naast het bed hebben we meteen melding gemaakt, omdat we daar echt te weinig licht hadden. Echter hier werd niets mee gedaan. Toen wij bij ons vertrek lieten weten dat we dit niet prettig vonden werd gezegd, dat dit soort […] werkzaamheden altijd op maandag plaatsvinden, en daarom nog niet gebeurd was. Een aanvaardbare mededeling, die prettiger gewerkt had, als dit meteen de eerste dag al verteld was. De badkamer was zeer luxueus, maar wel wat klein, waardoor de pedaalemmer op een onhandige plaats stond. De stortdouche was heerlijk, echter de afvoer van het water was niet voldoende waardoor de badkamer na een douche helemaal blank stond. Er is alleen overdag op bepaalde uren iemand in het pand aanwezig als aanspreekpunt. De laatste ochtend van ons verblijf ging om een onduidelijke reden 2 keer het brandalarm af; wij waren blij dat er op dat moment wel een aanspreekpunt was. Mehr

Quando reservei o hotel achei que não seria grande coisa, mas quando chegamos descobrimos que era um apart-hotel, com quarto, banheiro e sala + cozinha. Muito grande para os padrões de hotel Europeus, sem falar na cama que era king size e no banheiro enorme. Adoramos o apart e recomendamos com certeza.
