Alles Sehenswerte ist fusslaeufig erreichbar - die Lage des Hotels spricht fuer sich. Es gibt nichts, was das Servicepersonal versucht, moeglich zu machen. Im Hotel traf ich viele nette Leute, bakam die besten Tipps und fuehlte mich wie zu Hause. Werde das Hotel jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

Die Lage ist perfekt und das Personal erfullt alle Wuensche die mann hat. Bei der Dusche hatte es Schimmel und Kalk aber sonst war das Zimmer perfekt.

Great service, happy to help staff, good breagfast, fast internet

I recently stayed at the hotel for a lengthy stay and it was by far the best hotel for value, service and the best hotel staff I have ver come across in a hotel in this price range. The rooms were large and clean and equipped with everything to have an enjoyable stay. I had to get up every morning early for meetings and the staff kindly made me breakfast […] at 6 am which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast is normally served from 7am. This hotel was easily the best we've stayed in outside our own country for a long time. Small but just perfect in every respect and this is mostly due to Rose and the others on the outstanding staff. Nothing wasp a bother, and they were so friendly, funny and kind. very friendly and helpful staff, prime location

Cannot rate this wee hotel high enough. Just go there! The young staff is excellent and will go above and beyond in every way to help you however they can. We will be returning to Hanoi later in our travels and will book in here again without hesitation. Fantastic customer service.

I arrived in Hanoi on 15 March 2012 was transferred to the hotel. The exterior view of the hotel is still acceptable but the room (4th floor) was so small and only single person can move around. Bed linen was clean but the towel in the toilet is quite dirty. Luckily I only stayed there for a few hours before I went to Sapa.

Service was good but promised amenities were not delivered. Room was covered in a layer of dust and was extremely noisy with the sounds from the streets.

We enjoyed our stay and the front desk people were great and very helpful.

Top place. Cheap, clean, and friendly. They booked all our travel in northern Vietnam, they let us shower there after the Halong Bay trip, before sending us off to the train station in a taxi they paid for with the bell boy in hot persuit on his moped to hlp the girls with the rucksacks onto the train. Stayed in a few places in that part of town, and […] this has been the best by far, and no more expensive. breakfast wasn't great, but at that price you cannot have it all, tip, go for the noodle soup. Amazing hotel for the price we paid, not only was the hotel excellently located, the room was large spacious and superb. Dirty washrooms, old mattress and bad service. They were going to charge me extra for a late checkout and charged me for mineral water. Would not recommend.

The petite lady receptionist (day shift)has good command of English, and was kind to let us postpone one of our night's stay to another day due to planning error on my part--without any admin charges! The gentleman (night shift) receptionist--I think he was known as "Than"--was very polite, and his ready smile always brightens up our day during our […] stay with them. Their Vietnam New Year Party to all the guests and hotel staff was also a great warm gesture to my wife and I, though i don't drink so much in their beer-drinking contests. Such warm actions on their side certainly helped made our stay in Vietnam easier, in the midst of rubbing shoulders with some of the dense local people Though this hotel may cost a few dollars more than other hotels of similar size, it is definitely worth it, and Holiday Gold Hotel shall be my prime consideration of accommodation again should I drop by in Hanoi in future! The cheets were clean, no bed bugs or anything. I suppose the room was some kind of a leftover room located on the top floor, because the staff keeped asking if it is ok or not and they were ready to change it to another one in their other hotel. We only were so tired we didn't bother to check in to another hotel, so we accepted the room. Well, it was […] ok for one night, but there were some problems: bathroom dor didn't stay closed, shower was situated very strangely above the sink and there was no light in the bathroom. So truely a leftover! Even with these problems (which I don't believe occur in other rooms) the overall image of the hotel was good: complementary fruits, flat screen tv, hair dryer, clean cheats, towels, very nice and helpful staff, nice breakfast included, located not too far from for example the lake... We arrived at 4 a.m., while the staff was sleeping, and they woke up and tried to find us a room. Of course, we were almost 10 hours early -- but they still tried to get us in a room ASAP. While we waited, we were served breakfast. And when they couldn't get us in a room quick enough, they asked if they could put us in their sister hotel a few blocks […] away. By then, it was 7:30 a.m., which is pretty awesome. Oh, and we didn't like our first room so they moved us into a better room. Some rooms don't have proper heating, which is a problem in the winter. A small hotel right in the heart of the old quarter. Rooms are nothing special, but were kept very clean. The best part of this hotel was the staff, so friendly and incredibly helpful. When we needed white ink pencils to write our postcards, even those were bought on our behalf, without any expenses. Lovely, warm atmosphere.

The hotel was well located in the old quarter, in a nice street. The personnel was very nice, and the price was very reasonable. large rooms, air conditioning working.. Nothing bad to say about it! The only "bad" thing is that they don't have Skype, but the manager told me that it will be installed very soon. It recommend this hotel!

I returned to Holidays Hotel at Hoem Kiem District on my second holiday to Hanoi, even recommending my two travelling companions to extend their stay at the same hotel. The hotel staff is very friendly and we relied on them to help make tour arrangements and book taxis for our trips. They are thorough in their service so they leave no stones unturned […] so new travelers will find their service extremely helpful. Convenient location, large room, helpful and friendly staff. All in all a great stay, fully recommended.

This hotel was in a great location and had one of the best staff I've experienced in quite a while. The rooms were large, clean, and the shower was excellent! The breakfast was decent and there were 4 computers in the lobby with free wifi. What makes this hotel fabulous, however, is the staff. They go beyond what you would expect: On one of the tours […] we booked through the hotel we experienced a minor problem with a hotel on Cat Ba Island. Without us asking the staff at Holiday Hotel offered us a discount. In between tours we had a half-day layover in Hanoi and the staff gave us a free room to shower and relax! When we returned from our tour in Sapa, they were the first faces we saw when our train arrived at 5am. After picking us up, they allowed us to check in at 5:30am at no additional charge. We were always greeted with a smile and doors were always held open for us as we entered or left the hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated and furnished. The a/c was comfortably cold and the shower had the right pressure and was hot. Many international TV stations were available. The staff were great in making recommendations for eating and sites to visit. You can't go wrong with this one! Book your tours through this hotel. They stand behind what they offer. Mehr

I would absolutely stay here again. The staff at this Hotel were extremely helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The location is fantastic with all major sites in Hanoi within reasonable walking distance. The rooms are great value, although a bit tired, and are fit for purpose if you are out and about. Small rooms and a little outdated. But that may just be the norm at Hanoi. What impressed me Was the location. Walkable to the lake and near really good food places ESP if You like local Vietnamese cuisine.

Very helpful staff act as your guide and advocate in Hanoi at this nice, clean,centrally located budget hotel in Hanoi.

We booked the holiday gold but on arriving they suggested we might prefer another sister holiday which had an elevator as our room was on the 4th floor with no elevator. we said no we would be fine as we were skeptical after some of the things you read online but they asked again and we agreed and hey took us to the charming 2 hotel which was great […] and the staff were fantastic making calls to companies to confirm trip bookings we had made online. My family and I had great time in Hanoi. The hotel is great place place to stay in Hanoi since it's located in the middle of the Old Quarter city. It's just a walking distance to the night market, puppet theater and the lake. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and tidy. However, the beds are a bit hard. One of our two rooms had a foul smell and the only room they had to move us was a small room. But other than that the hotel on a whole, for the price, was awesome. There was a decent breakfast. There is internet available in the lobby. The front desk staff and bellmen are awesome, they will do anything to make your stay more pleasant. The hotel is basic […] and will meet your needs. The kind staff and comfortable firm beds are to be enjoyed. They let us check in super early from a train/trekking experience which was very kind of them. They aim to please. We stayed 5 nights and the staff went out of their way to help from beginning to end. The breakfast was great, free internet cafe, free tour information and they helped us with bookings. The location is good and the hotel is extremely clean and well kept and would recommend to nayone wanting to stay in Hanoi.

This hotel doesnt have lift and made me climb 5 floors for my room. The room was nearly narrow and i couldnt even fit in the bathroom. Only the reception area is nice. The rest of the hotel is bad. Not worth the money. There are better options around in Hanoi.

The Holiday Gold hotel was a great value for money in Hanoi. The rate I booked included a hot breakfast and there were free computers w/ internet with guests to use. The hotel is small but comfortable and situated in a prime location in Hanoi. It's close to restaurants and shopping. The staff was very attentive and accomodating. I'm not surprise why it is in the 1st rank in trip advisor website. The hotel staff provided very warm welcome & very helpful. We bought the train tickets from Hanoi to Sapa from the hotel. If you stay in the hotel, buy it from here. It's safe & you can ensure no cheating. The price i bought is include the transport from hotel to train station. On the […] way back to Hanoi, i dont even know it's include the transport on the way back. Our family took a taxi to hotel (expensive taxi). Without reluctant, hotel staff informed us why taxi, because someone already wait for us for a pickup at train station. I just replied sorry i dont know. Hotel staff ran to the taxi and pay for us. He can keep silence, and watch we pay, but he didnt. Apart from best service & trustworthy staffs, the room is good, the location of the hotel is right in the city. I dont see whatelse you need. Basic hotel which did the job in Hanoi. Safe, clean and in a good location.

L’hôtel est bien situé , prés du lac. j'avais demandé deux chambres avec balcon, et nous avons eu une de nos chambres qui était sans fenêtre et sentait le renfermé. Le petit déjeuner est tés sommaire, 4 tranches de pain de mie avec de la confiture et un jus de fruit frais.

チェックアウトの当日、あまりの暑さに当初の予定を切り上げて休憩することにした。当然部屋はチェックアウトするので、もう1泊分の追加料金を払う覚悟で、ホテルの一室で休ませてほしい旨を伝えると、なんと無料で夕方の帰国時まで使わせていただいた。大変助かりました。その間もコーヒーを無料で頂くなどの配慮も頂いた。有難うございました。

Très bon accueil, chambre correcte pour le prixet propre, bien situé dans l hyper-centre de hanoi, petit déjeuner local ou européen au choix. Hôtel satisfaisant dans son ensemble.

Trivdes mycket bra. Rena och fräscha rum. Personalen var mycket serviceinriktade beträffande allting. De tom betalde taxi från hotell till järnvägsstation och skickade med två från personalen som bar våra väskor och som också visade rätt perrong tåget avgick från, helt kostnadsfritt. Kan varmt rekommendera hotellet.
