Es ist eher ein Homestay als ein Hotel aber die Leute sind nett und hilfsbereit allerdings ist es etwas abgelegen.

All I can say is there is a lot to like about this B&B and some not to like but if you can just get into the laid back vibe (which is why you would go to Bocas Town anyway) then you will be satisfied. We liked going out in the boat with a few other guests for the day to see the dolphins, sloths, snorkeling. lunch at a restaurant in the mangrove trees […] as well as the beautiful beach at the National Park. We started here and had to move hotels because they were full and we wanted to extend our stay. We looked at every single hotel on the island and nothing compares. There are no "nice" hotels on the island but they will still charge more and they look very motel-y. Not to mention they are right in the middle Of town which seems like it would Just be […] too rowdy and loud. Bahia del sol was such a breath of fresh air. It had the greatest "feel" to it. It's a bed and breakfast and the owners are so helpful and the service is better than any where in panama. They called cabs for us, called their pals to take us on tours, and when they saw I had a bundle Of laundry I was taking to the laundry mat, she took it off my hands and said she'd do it for me!? There really is no other place to stay on this island. My only complaint has nothing to do with the hotel itself but the area around.. It's a little noisy , but I'm sure that would be worse right in the heart of town. Mostly I would just get woken up by the sound of the ocean waves. Jack takes pride in the breakfast he serves in the morning and of the 5 places we've stayed throught our trip, the breakfast was hands down the best. Same goes for the service. The rooms were very large and unique too. We got to stay in two diff rooms as we re-booked a room as soon as they were available again. Very very highly recommended. Mehr

Bahia del Sol is an amazing bed and breakfast. You will LOVE this place. It's located about a 10 min walk outside of town right along the water with beach chairs and hammocks a plenty. We arrived at 8am after taking the early flight on AirPanama from Panama City (mind you check out is at noon), and were immediately offered a delicious hot breakfast […] from Jack and Lee with a mug of coffee. We made friends with other couples staying at the hotel - everyone there was a big traveler and had cool stories. Jack and Lee help you plan your day trips, which was great for us. They work with private tour guides who grew up in the area and will take you wherever you want to go. Plenty to do... dolphin bay, red frog beach, mangroves, snorkeling, different types of beaches to swim or surf, nividia cave (a bat cave where you get a headlamp and follow a guide pretty far in). Jack and Lee have some amazing stories - both are excellent story tellers. You can't go wrong here. Mehr

Bocas has some nice, corporate run, hotels, with all the amenities (I visited friends at some of them, and they very nice). However, you would be doing yourself a great disservice staying at one of those, and missing out on the chance to have a unique and memorable experience. Enjoying Bocas to the fullest, and having an adventure or two, requires knowing […] where to go, and what to see. Yes, there are regular tour operators and guides there, but you won't have the same experience, that you would with Jack and his patient wife at their fantastic (and peaceful) place on the sea. They look out for their guests, which the hotels won't do. They know great places to go for dinner, and the guides Jack recommends are better than the regular operators. Jack makes an excellent breakfast every morning, but I liked his stories better. I will definitely come back to Bocas, and I won't waste my time looking for anywhere else to stay but at the Bahia Del Sol. Mehr

Bahia del Sol was an amazing experience in Bocas del Toro. I went to Bocas to attend spanish school and tour the area. My flight arrived very early (8:30 a.m.) and was expecting to have to wait for a room. Instead I was offered breakfast and an option to have a cabana over the water that included a kitchen instead of the room I booked online. The owners, […] Jack and Leigh are the BEST! They went above and beyond every day of my stay (6 nights/7days) to book tours, call taxis, make recommendations for restaurants, and provide clean beach towels on request. Jack's famous breakfast is not to be missed - amazing. Their style of dining also allows you to meet the other guests and make new friends while staying in Bocas. The walk to the hotel/cabana can be a little intimidating since it is off the beaten path - don't let that stop you. It is VERY safe and since it's not right near Centro Bocas, you feel like a local when you stay at Bahia del Sol. Mehr

On the outskirts of Bocas Town, the home was lovely and peaceful. But it was close enough to walk to town in 10 mins. The owners were helpful and Jack makes a great breakfast. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Muito boa a estadia; proprietarios da pousada ajudam muito sobre o que e como fazer. Seria bom que fizessem um trabalho para que limpassem o lixo jogado na rua e casas aos arredores. Bocas precisa de uma conscientização melhor para que a natureza maravilhosa que existe lá hoje não se acabe.. Antes de chegar na pousada o cheiro é horrível mas dentro […] dela não se sente o cheiro. The quality of the room wasn´t exactly what the pictures on the web pages led to expect and the room was overpriced and breakfast small. The host couple was friendly, though, and willing to help and give their advice.
