This hotel is just off I-4 and is convenient to restaurants and the mall. It's close to the Tigers Stadium. The hotel is old but relatively clean. Having said that the initial smell you get when entering the room is a musty smell. I found out when talking to the maid that they are told to turn OFF the AC after cleaning the room if one is not a stayover. […] While this saves the hotel $$$ on electricity it only adds to the musty smell. The bed has definitely seen its day ( or night) It is relatively inexpensive to sty there but for about $15 more per night I'd stay close by at other hotels, Mehr

I booked two rooms for new employees, they never stayed as the rooms were unfit to occupy. Avoid this travel lodge. This place is near the bottom.

Very run down inside and out, had asked for a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. Hotel was full couldn't get another room. Our check-in was very late (almost midnight) so we kept the smoking room. Returning to our room the key wouldn't work - had to walk back to front desk get it reprogrammed again. Hard to rest the smell of smoke over-powering. […] Came home with all our luggage/clothes smelling of the same smoky smell. Sheets had cigarette hole burns in them, cleaness of room and especially the bathroom were horrible. Not happy would not recommend to anyone. Mehr

I thought the staff and the lobby were great. I appreciated the amount of security lights and cameras in the evening. I'd rather have a card instead of a key for security purposes. I was unsure of why there was no AC in the hallways. Very hot and smelled of smoke. I think the hotel should be 100% non-smoking.

if you are traveling and need a place to stay for a night this is a good pick. Great price. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean, including my room. My room was small but had every thing you would need.

would have liked to know up front that the room does not have a microwave. hotels.com did not display that a room with a single double bed does not have a fridge and microwave. also, hotel lobby does not have a microwave either. it would be convenient to have a fridge and microwave in the lobby/kitchen area for the use of patrons who stay in rooms with […] no such facilities. I am very happy with my choice of this hotel as it met all of the criteria mentioned it there advertising. I was more than happy with the quality of service and friendliness of the staff! The pool is one of my favorite amenities as it is large and clean, with deck chairs and tables to relax at after a long day. I would heartily recommend this Lodge […] to my friends and family. Just a old place and you can only do so much with it. Staff was friendly and helpful but for the most part looked to be imported. Pictures are misleading room shown is for those who will pay more for flat screen min frig and micro which you can get for the same price elsewhere. Pool in pic looks good, but is a older model and needs some work and some […] cleaning there was a film of bugs on top which you can't see until you get into the water because they are nat size and in the bright light you can see them until you get face to face with them. The room was nice and clean, I just don't know why they leave all their windows and doors open to the rooms until people check in. When we got there our door was open as with many other doors and no a/c was on. It was like a sauna in there, about 90 plus degrees, so we had to turn our a/c on and leave for a bit and come back so it would be cooler and […] not so miserably hot! Mehr

Well overall it was ok. To be honest, I could feel the springs in the mattress while I slept, the air didn't get cold untill the middle of the night, the bathroom would get so hot after a cold shower that I would sweat just by putting my clothes oh not to mention the 3 tiny cockroaches I saw walking around the sink and on the floor. Besides these issues […] it did have a microwave, refrigerator, and single cup coffee maker and it looked clean and the towels were refilled while we were gone. The continental breakfast was ok. And the location is great with all types of restaurants and shopping in walking distance, so overall for the price it was ok, but a tip that might help for future guest, the hallways and the rooms had a bad smell, it wasn't very welcoming, so I would put air freshaners in all the rooms and hallways so the guests would feel more comfortable. This hotel was a good value. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. It is not close to the city center but within 10 minutes by bus. The bus stop was one block away. We enjoyed our stay.

pension idéalement situé à 2 KM du centre,aret bus à 100 m,parking pour les résidents; bel aspect intérieure/extérieure ,studio simple,propre avec un bel agencement,la literie est trés confortable, les propriétaires sont très agréables ,disponibles , un sans faute .
