Für uns war wichtig, dass ein drittes Bett mit dem Doppelzimmer problemlos zusammen buchbar war. Das war der Grund, warum wir dieses Hotel gewählt haben. Die Lage ist sehr weit außerhalb - fast 30 min. bis zur Innenstadt, insofern für uns als Touristen sehr ungünstig gelegen..

This is a no nonsense, motel style facility (for those who can remember, it's like walking into the set of Crossroads). But if that's what you want, it works and it is run efficiently and professionally.

Liverpool is way to far away from Knowsley. You will have to take the bus 19 or 14 to the city centre for about 40 minutes, and this is not a short time. However, except that, everything was so good. Their breakfast was nice and concise, and everyone was kind.

Noise from the motorway was constant all night so ask for a room facing away from it. Apart from its no where near anything stuck in the middle of nowhere - I might have mentioned nowhere! price is too high for all-be-it a comfy room, in the middle of nowhere.

Perfect for me as I was training just down the road. If I was away to see the sights and nightlife I would probably pay a bit more and stay nearer the city. You really need a car/bus/taxi if staying here. The free parking can help with decisions though.

we had an awful stay, we got to the hotel at 630pm and there was two people on shift in the whole hotel! we checked in fine eventhough my name was spelt wrong!! but as we got to our room we couldnt get in to the room because the lady on reception didnt activate it we went to her 3 times befor she could be botherd to make it upstairs and help us! when […] we fineally arrived in to the bedroom (1 double & 1 sofa bed) we said to the lady of reception where is the sofa bed? she replied, !you have to set it up your self" she then returned with the bedding and said to us she cant make it as its !not her job!!!! completly gobsmacked by the way we got treated by your staff and will not be staying again!!! apart from that my friend really enjoyed her birthday weekend in liverpool! Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast ideal for start of day. As i know the area buses are available from stops about 400yds away. But ideally you need a car get around if you are limited mobilitywise.Talking to other guests taxis were reasonable and so was the bar. Some good pub/restruants within easy driving distance.

Over all not good Our bedroom window would not close properly. There was a roll of tinfoil on the floor under our bed when we got in. The hotel did not offer evening meals. There was no bread for breakfast on one morning, both mornings the food was cold. The staff were friendly & helpful

Reasonable hotel, but there is nothing nearby, no shops, no bars, no restaurants. Its a good place for the buisness user but would probably be of little interest to others

The hotel was clean and tidy. The breakfast spread was excellent and the variety was a pleasant surprise. The room was lovely and large and allowed us to have our 4yr old daughter on the extended sofa bed plus a travel cot for our 1yr old, with loads of room remaining. There were only 3 things that we were disappointed with - (1) we had a shower and […] no bath (with a young family this is not ideal). (2) We had a room that adjoined another and the neighbours watched TV until midnight which kept us awake - but this is not the hotels fault. (3) The 'double glazed' windows in our room were near to useless at keeping the road noise out - it was like sleeping on the hard shoulder of a motorway. Other reviews do say it is noisy so perhaps all rooms are the same (?). Except for these points the hotel was excellent. Mehr

A very friendly place to stay very clean rooms all the members of staff i met were professional good at there work and so helpful and best of all being an early riser it's so nice to get a breakfast at six twenty in the morning ten out of ten is my score

Two weeks of travelling and staying in a different hotel each night is the basis of comparison for this stay. I have to say: I found the staff and service EXCELLENT! There was absolutely no issue with the room, breakfast was enjoyable, and the ability to sit in the lounge after check out time (until I received a call from friends to know where to meet […] them) - was the icing on this very enjoyable stay... Closest pub is more than a mile away making it necessary to take a taxi at all times. No lunch or dinner served at the hotel, you have to order from two specific takeaway places which serve things like kebabs, burgers, pizza and curry. Hardly the kind of food you want to be eating on a three night stay. These takeaway places apparently only open at […] 4pm making them unsuitable for lunch anyway. We had 2 nights in this hotel. Staff very pleasant & efficient, room comfy & clean. Breakfast is complimentary and has a very good choice of hot & cold food. Would recommend this hotel definately.

Very pleasant stay and staff very friendly. Always available when needed. Hotel out of central liverpool but thanks to the helpful staff, we were able to get in central liverpool easy enough with cheap taxis. Lovely experience overall.

took grandson to watch liverpool stopped overnight all facilities very good the staff were excellent treated me like an old friend made me feel very welcome.the only down side was the breakfast good choice but the cooked breakfast was cold.despite that i would use this hotel again.

I enjoyed my overnight stay at this Holiday Inn Express hotel. The 24 hour reception was convenient and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and clean and the complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent. I would happily stay at this hotel again.

Was very disappointed with the location of this hotel - went specifically for a Liverpool match for the weekend so hotel location was very important - I even rang the hotel to check convenience to match loction. The hotel is smart and modern looking and represents very good value for money. Our only complaint was that the bed was very firm which didn't make for the most comfortable night! The room otherwise was very clean and comfortable with tea/coffee facilities, flat screen t.v. and well equipped en-suite.

We found the lighting in the bedroom very poor for reading. Shower screen leaked. Cooked breakfast was not very hot.

I chose this hotel as it was close proximity to Knowsley Hall. (Only £6 taxi fare or 5 minute drive to this venue). The hotel is approx 10 minute drive to centre of Liverpool The hotel is tucked away in the industrial park but easily in view from main road and very well marked on all roundabouts close the hotel The room we stopped in was very spacious […] and cleaned along with a decent sized bathroom. Initially we was booked into a 'Smoking Room', (which i did not think was available), but something to do with Private laws allows this to be done with this hotel and the area, but after a quick chat with the receptionist she instantly issued me with a new 'Non Smoking room', no fuss, which i was very happy about. All staff were very helpfull from the receptionist to the cleaners. The Breakfast is excellent with good selection of pastries and yoghurt's along with the standard Eggs, Beans, Sausages and bread and a variety of drinks For the Price, I would definitely stay again and recommend to others if staying near this region. Roomy and comfy but kept awake for hours by noisy male guests who insisted on room swapping from 1am to 4am. Nothing we could do and felt it unlikely the desk manager would have been able to sort out. Spoiled what was otherwise a good experience. Were we just unlucky?
