Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lafayette South - Lafayette

Room did not have in room safe and we had to ask to have our room cleaned on one of the days. Room temperature was either too cold or too hot. Had to turn air off of room to sleep. They did not replace coffee either. Very average or below service.

I always stay at this hotel when I'm in the area. Very clean and very friendly staff.

This was the best hotel experience I have ever had. I travel a lot with the military and have stayed in hotels all over the world but the Holiday Inn Express in Lafayette, LA gets an "A+++" in my book. We will most definitly stay there the next time we are in Lafayette next spring.

the hotel is really nice and well decorated. the room was really clean with updated technology and bedding. the price was really affordable for the quality of the hotel.

Excellent accomadations; Staff very friendly and helpful. Wish there would be a reduced price for seniors-my stay would have been even better.

But don't stay on the 3rd floor. It's a smoking floor and stinks. Other than that, nice hotel, good location.

Very Clean and comfortable. I only wish that they had a hot tub in the pool area.

On the plus side, the hotel was clean, well located and the staff friendly and helpful. I thought the soundproofing was severely lacking as the services (water, drains) creaked when used by others, the air conditioning was loud when on and other guest's comings and goings could be heard. I slept poorly the first of 4 nights because of the negatives […] above but slept well the rest. I would consider going back if staying in the area again but might well seek out a hotel built to better standards. Mehr

I liked everything about the hotel, except we were visiting from Alaska and it was 85 degrees in March and they wouldn't let us use the pool. It was clean but they said it was too cold. That took away from our vacation experience.

Internet service was intermittent and we kept having to log on several times during a session. For the most part, everything was good. Desk staff was friendly and helpful, but not knowledgeable about the services. Our biggest complaint was the breakfast. It was horrible. The server person was not good at her job. The first day, she served scrambled […] eggs and there was standing water in the pan. It was gross. The pancake machine had burned remnants from previous days. The server was oblivious to the fact that the machine was broken. The next day, the server put out cold omelettes in the pan. She ended up microwaving some of them for customers. The gravy for the biscuits was soupy and tasted bad. The next day (Monday) they had reruns (omelettes and biscuits and gravy) that had not been eaten the day before. This was the worst breakfast setup for any hotel chain that we've been to and there was no excuse for the poor quality. I will not stay at this Holiday Inn again. Lafayette should be ashamed. Mehr

I did not have a bad experience at this hotel; I was extremely impressed when I walked in the door. The decor was impeccable, the rooms meet above expectations. The breakfast bar was great my guest and I had a peaceful stay here; would highly recommend this location!!!

Check-in was easy. The room was very clean and ice cold, just the way I like it! The A/C didn't have any problems keeping up with the extreme August heat and it was wonderful! I didn't make it down to the breakfast until later on, but when I got there, everything was still hot and fresh. I'm definitely booking this hotel again for our next trip to  […] Lafayette! Mehr

Nice, clean, comfortable and efficient

Our stay was enjoyable and the continental breakfast was great. The ease to access the hotel was a bit challenging due to high volume of traffic, however would stay here again when visiting Lafayette.

My husband and I stayed at the Lafayette Holiday Express on Kaliste Saloom in early June. The place was very clean and comfortable. We were worried that, being on the ground floor, we would be bothered by noise from the parking lot, but that never happened. The breakfast was good--not particularly great--about what you would expect of a free hotel breakfast […] in this hotel price range. The staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel is conveniently located to lots of shopping, espresso bars, and the like. Yes, we would stay there again if we visit Lafayette. Mehr

Excellent séjour. Personnel accueillant et de bon conseil. Piscine situé derrière l'hôtel offrant un petit espace de repos bien apprécié en été. Buffet déjeuner standard mais au niveau du standard US. Un des meilleurs hôtel de notre séjour.
