Holiday Inn Express Metropolis - Metropolis

Nice room very clean. comfortable beds. Great TV! Service was very good and friendly people wanting to help you with anything you needed. Breakfast was very good and FREE! You could eat in the breakfst area which was clean and attendants were available to carry, clean up and clear up tables. It was nice.

I was staying on business, but the internet was so slow as to be unusable for my business needs.

We were travelimg to Florida and I saw this on Hotel.com. I called the hotel and they wanted to charge me $30 more for the same room!!

Very comfortable and clean. Helpful staff. Easy check-in. A bit high priced for the area. Conveniently located just off Interstate.

Traveling with a dog sometimes limits our choices our room was reasonably clean there were what appeared to be bugs killed on the walls that housekeeping should have wiped off and the remote for the TV didn't work - but all in all I'd stay again

We booked this room on a trip to Florida. We could hear everything around or above our room from the hallway to the rooms above us. Then for breakfast they said it was served until 10am and by 830am they told us there was no more food. They had no coffee etc. And the little foid that was there was hard as a rock. I have to say that overall the hotel was very nice .staff were great,only 7 minute drive to the casino.and the breakfast was great and yes they did serve meat. I would definitely stay there again.

I booked this with Hotels.com. That was a mistake. I specified a king room with a jacuzzie, smoking. When we went to chece in we were told they booked a regular room non-smoking. Thank goodness the clerk (Mike ?) was able to get us what we wanted. Thanks for a great stay. We have been there before and will surley be back. Thanks. Steve.

This was a very nice hotel, the staff was great. We were very pleased and this location gives Holiday Inn Express a good name. Stayed a 2nd night instead of moving on to another city.

My Wife, son, and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Metropolis during the Superman celebration and It's a great place to stay. It was very clean and the staff was helpful.

The personnel at check in were very courteous and helpful in arranging for a handicapped room. It is a pet friendly hotel as evidenced by the barking dog in the next room and the fleas in our room. I reported such to the girl at checkout and was told "we ARE a pet friendly hotel and sometimes the pets are not friendly to humans". Other than a few flea […] bites our stay was enjoyable. Mehr

I stayed here for three nights because of a conference. Two other guys shared the room with me (2 Queen beds). The room didn't feel cramped and was clean and modern. Free breakfast selections were amazing. Furthermore, the service was great; the staff were helpful and nice. The location was right off the highway and easy to see/find. Best hotel and we felt right at home. Would love to go back and stay, if prices were right.

Pleasant, clean accommodations - even accommodated our dog! The wonderful breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits and freshly baked cinnamon rolls. Would definitely recommend!

Good hotel but too far out, no food close except fast food, had to go to KY.

very convenient to Hwy 75 so very easy to get on and off if you are traveling. Hotel staff very nice and room nice enough for the price paid.

This hotel was overpriced for the condition and what was offered. There were bugs in the pool, the hotel was in need of a remodel and the room was very basic for the price paid. If I were passing through Metropolis again, I would make it a point to find a different hotel.

disapointed that whirpool was not fuctional. did not offer to comensate for lack of this amenity . being abel to soak ,was one of thr reasons i chose this hotel.

H.I. Xpress and Superman are "SUPER" In Metropolis. Super Breakfast in the morning to start your day w/carryout available and that's great when you have to get on the road. We would stay there again.

Very clean hotel. Good location and priced affordably. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff was very friendly. Check in was smooth. Great hotel for your money.

The front desk clerk was very helpful and polite. we didnt like our view with the first room we had so they upgraded us with no extra cost.Thanks
