Dieses Haus war eine Katastrophe. WC auf dem Flur und Badezimmer zur Massenabfertigung lassen jede Jugendherberge komfortabel erscheinen. So fiel es auch kaum noch ins Gewicht, dass es kein Telefon gab und der Fernsehr nicht richtig funktionierte. Sehr nett hingegen war die Warnung des Rezeptionisten vor dem Frühstück. I really enjoy my stay in this hotel. It's very close to S-Bahn, U-Bahn and Bus station, and easy to go everywhere. Nice people (employees) in the hotel and very good service. I like it.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were very helpful and kind .

The hotel was simple and clean. I wasn't looking for much, so the communal bathroom was not a problem for me, however there are also rooms available where you can have your own washroom. The room itself was easily accessible, there is an elevator, so it does not matter that the reception is on the third floor. It was nice to also have my own heater, […] since I was there in December. I stayed at a few places in Berlin and this place by far had the best wireless internet. I was on the first floor, but connecting both on my computer and my phone wasn't an issue and it was all included in the price. Finally, the location was phenomenal. Yes, you are in West Berlin, which isn't as fancy, but you are a three minute walk from the train station that connects to busses, trains, and the metro. Also there is a public bus that goes to and from the airport from this station that is also very convenient. Mehr

I had quite a nice big clean room and I thought the price was excellent for what they offer. The staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. If you want a private bathroom or mini bar or other amenities for a night or two, you need to go somewhere else. But I really liked the place and will go there again.

Overall this hotel met our expectations. comfortable bed, adequate bathroom, good room size for us, plentiful breakfast. In addition fresh fruit and tea/coffee were freely available throughout the day, a nice generous gesture. It was well located for restaurants from fast food to full service, with many options that would cater for any budget. Access […] to city tour and public buses was also good. The hotel is in a grand old building. It would benefit from some refurbishment of paint, wallpaper, floor tiles etc to return it to its former glory. It was OK but could be better. It was the perfect location and for the price and location I didn't mind the one bathroom per floor. However there was never hot water for the shower, and that was a problem. I would recommend it with that caveat. But I will go to another hotel in the future: I need my hot shower.

Hotel Berolina has been recommended for its location, near subway station, etc. We appreciated this. Even when my wife needed a doctor, there was one next door (literally) and cost only 22 Euros (some $30). Incidentally, this doctor was discovered by the hotel receptionist on her computer – very special! The room was spacious, with high ceilings and […] accommodated four separate beds. Bathrooms were at the end of the hallway. No sink in the room. Forget about refrigerator, micro or coffee-maker. Or one of those electric tea kettles popular in Europe. None were there. The bath towels resembled kitchen rags, as seen in Europe quite often (not fluffy!). There was only one man’s toilet/shower per floor. It did not bother us since we tend to wake up after most of the other people. We did not buy the 10-Euro ($14) breakfast, which was overpriced for this class of a hotel (rather hostel). You can try the Berliner’s favorite Curry-wurst for some 2 Euros at a joint downstairs or across the street. One thing that worried me about this hotel was the occasional summer heat waves in Europe. The place does not have any kind of air conditioning, just big windows. When we stayed there, the temperatures were very moderate and the place was getting stuffy. In case of a heat wave, it would be very uncomfortable. Furthermore, I do not recommend this hotel to beer drinkers, as in order to pee at night, you have to dress in the middle of the night and walk to the end of the hallway, where the bathroom is. You get what you pay for basically. Its not terrible, just don't expect comfortable

This was just OK. The location in the West End is convenient but very noisy at all hours of the day/night. The room was clean as was the shared bath. The staff was a little surly but not too bad.

Generally good,but our towels were not regularly changed, some time our beds haven't been made, and on one occasion when I was in a shower it was suddenly no hot water coming. So it was not very pleasant experiance for this money what we had paid! But location was good.And room was a good size and quiet.

Very central location, excellent for going on tours etc. A bit disappointed as we had booked a double room and it ended up being a twin (well two singles pushed together). :(

Went for a 5-night stay in over New Year. Found the place pretty easy coming off the airport express train at the Zoo U-Bahn. A bit weird that the reception is on the third floor but you get used to it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room is fine and serviced daily. The one thing that annoyed me was that it says they have wi-fi in the rooms […] but I couldn't get online anywhere in the hotel, so my laptop was rendered useless for the stay. Other than that I have no complaints, the location is perfect, right next to the the U1 and U2 lines and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Mehr

For context, we are an American family of three (13 year-old daughter). This is a fine "hostel-style" hotel. If you need a good bed, free internet, a nice shared living room area, with an excellent breakfast (extra fee), and don't mind shared bathrooms, this is an pefect choice. The location is nice and right off Ku'Damm, but not too noisy. They also […] have a 4-bed family room, which is spacious. If you want air conditioning and a business hotel experience, try a different spot. The staff also held our bags before check-in and after check-out without any complaint. Good location when not staying in East Berlin. It's super close to the Zoo and the U-bahn is right across the street and you can take it anywhere in the city. Shops and resturants are everyone surrounding the hotel. The main downside was that there was no AC. It's not normally a big deal, but we happened to be there during a huge heat wave so being […] inside was miserable. Also, they have complimentary internet, but it didn't reach our hotel room. It was a nice hotel. the location was the best feeature. Near a lot of shops and public transport . frriendly receptionist. The layout of the hotel was weird though , the reception was one the 3rd floor. But it was fine otherwise, And they gave us a multi-plug, our measure of good service,

I received room 501, which has 4 beds and a separate desk area. Toilet/sink and shower/sink are separate, perfect for multiple persons, although it was just me and dad. You get a perfect view of the Kaiser-Wilhelm Church and the Zoo train station. The only issue is that the front desk closes before midnight. The location was great for public transportation, near many buses and 2 U-Bahn stations. The neighborhood was safe with restaurants and shopping next to the hotel. The hotel itself, however, was pretty old and outdated. The carpet was peeling up and stained. The room had flourescent lighting. This hotel is located near the most famous church in Berlin, quite convenient to go around for sightseeing. The building and room is not new at all, but very clean and charming. I do recommend to stay there in particular for budget travelers but maybe not for business. The surrounding is a bit noisy, but it is acceptable.

Lidt slidt hotel, men rigtig god beliggenhed for udflugter i Berlin, rengøring var lidt ringe, men iøvrigt meget venligt personale. Prisen taget i betragtning egentligt et godt hotel.

O hotel tem uma ótima localização, comércio variado perto e tbm fácil acesso aos principais serviços e pontos turísticos; mas a estrutura é bem antiga, café da manhã não está incluído na dia´ria, e 10 euros é mto caro p/ um café da manhã, além do bvanheiro nao ser no quarto e tem q ser compartilhado.

прекрасное расположение - в двух шагах все самое необходимое: метро, автобусы 100 и 200 до центра, автобусы до аэропорта тегель, огромное количество магазинов на разный вкус и кошелек. сам отель уютный и чистый. конечно тут нет ничего шикарного и некоторые детали требуют косметического ремонта, но это не напрягает, особенно с учетом стоимости. очень […] рекомендую экономным туристам! Hotellet har en fantastisk beliggenhed. Det er gammelt og nedslidt, men vi brugte det kun til at sove i, så det var ok. Vi havde valgt et værelse med eget bad og det var utroligt billigt. Vil man spare yderligere er der også værelser uden bad og toilelt. Morgenmadsbuffet var fin.

Super beliggenhed med dejlig udsigt til kirken. Storeværelser med ok senge. Dog et minus at der er toilet/bad på gangen, men de blev rengjort flere gange dagligt, så det var ok.

This is a very central hotel. Our room had a view over Kaiser Wilhelms Gedächtnichtkirche and that was fanstastic. The rooms are very basic and simple, but very, very clean. The shared bathrooms were also immaculately cleaned. this is a hotel I can recomend, the price was good, the location fantastic and everything in the hotel were spotless.

Helt ok hotell för den prisklassen. Lite vandrarhemskänsla. Det hade varit bra om det fanns en gemensam dusch på varje våning.

Dit is precies wat je wilt: een hotel onmiddellijk bij het station Zoologische Garten, met de Kurfürstendam etc om de hoek, restaurants, winkels, Ierse Pub etc. We hadden het geluk van een grote kamer met zijn tweeën aan het eind van de gang dus rustig. Nette kamer, natte cel wat benepen, maar voldoende warm water en elke dag schone handdoeken etc. […] In de vroege ochtend wat last van levranciers op de binnenplaats, maar als je het raam dicht doet ook geen probleem. Super beliggenhed i centrum og i gå afstand til alt + gode parkerings-muligheder i nærheden

Fantastisk beliggenhed, men hotellet er meget slidt. Prisen er til gengæld meget rimelig og betjeningen er venlig og imødekommende. Vil man have et billigt hotel i centrum og har man ikke for store fordringer, så er hotellet perfekt.
