Das Frühstück ist mit US$ 12 meines erachtens zu teuer !!! Hooters Restaurant direkt am Hotel ...... gut um am Abend noch ein "Absacker" zu nehmen !!! Schöne Aussicht auf Louisville bei Nacht vom Bristol Restaurant.

Sehr große Zimmer mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Preis Leistung haben sehr gut gepasst. Auch der Flughafentransfer des Hotels hat gut funktioniert.

War für 5 Nächte in diesem schönen, im viktorianischen Stil erbauten Hotel. Das Zimmer war groß, gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Lobby ist eine Augenweide. Restaurant ("The English Grill") ist zwar teuer aber sehr gut. Die Bar ist recht klein, man fühlt sich aber trotzdem wohl, auch wegen der überaus freundlichen Mitarbeiter. Die Lage ist insbesondere für Geschäftsreisende, welche in Downtown bleiben wollen, hervorragend. Wenn ich wieder in Louisville bin, werde ich mit SIcherheit auch wieder dieses Hotel wählen.

Amerikanisch und nett, sehr sauber. Die Zimmerausstattung war modern, wenn auch nicht völlig mein Geschmack, die Bilder haben jedoch nicht gelogen. 100% zufrieden.

"Clean and Friendly"
The room was very clean, the staff was nice. Only a few miles from many attractions. The only problems we had were the room was cold and I could not get the temperature regulated and there was a lot of noise from neighboring rooms. We would definately stay here again.
"Wouold stay again"
We stayed 2 nights with a 2 week old and 2 year old and felt safe. Pool was nice....it was heavily chlorinated but clean. Breakfast was good and well stocked. Do it yourself waffels are always the best! We needed milk for a bottle at 9:30 one night and the clerk filled it right up for us from the Kitchen. That was really nice of him. "Great place to stay"
We stayed over night when visiting with our daughter & grandsons. The check- in was great, quickest I've ever checked in before. Staff was all very courteous. The fitness room was nice, a few minutes on the treadmill, and swimming in the indoor pool with the boys was nice. It was fairly quiet, even though it is close in proximity to I65, you could not […] hear the highway noise. The king bed was comfortable, the pillows were awesome (I have neck pain, so usually take my own). We will definitely stay again when visiting. It's also pet friendly! Mehr

two queen room--nice big shower/tub and nice shower head to wash that road grime off. Close to many fast food places and a Kroger. Google map directions for address don't work--just turn left by Fazoli's at the light and it is tucked in with the Country Inn. "Sleep Inn at Shepherdsville"
Do not smoke, but took a smoking room because all others were full. However, I have never smelled a room that smelled so strong like an ashtray. The entire 4th floor smelled as soon as you got off the elevator. Luckily the weather was warm and we left the window open all night long as well as the bathroom vent running. "Sleep Inn & Suites Shepherdsville, KY - nice stay"
Overall nice place to stay. Short drive from Louisville, KY and very convenient for Churchill Downs racing. Room was spacious and clean, and included a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee pot. Complimentary continental breakfast included pastries, cold cereals, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and waffles, with coffee and juice options. […] Indoor pool and exercise room were small but appeared adequate and clean (we did not actually use either). Staff was friendly. The only problem we encountered was that our late arrival - despite having already paid for our stay, and a courtesy call from us giving fair warning of our arrival time - was initially recorded as a no-show by the night auditor. This problem was rectified by the day staff and we were not charged the extra fee. The area surrounding the hotel is a bit lacking in recognizable restaurant options. However, the steakhouse next door was surprisingly good, and we would certainly eat there again. We would stay at this hotel again and would recommend this hotel to friends. Mehr
