Bewleys Hotel Dublin Airport - Dublin

Would recommend and stay in this Hotel again, it was perfect for our needs we were catching an early morning flight the next day and stayed the night before, bar area/lounge nice and had tea there and few drinks bar staff very pleasant there was a restaurant if you wanted something more.

The hotel meets all needs that a comuter may expect. Right on the M1/M50 roundabout. Close to the Airport and only a 15-20min drive to the city centre off peak. The only problem is the parking charges for guests of the hotel. I don't agree that guest should have to pay for parking. And the hotel is not served by any form of public transport.

This is a great hotel to stay at before taking a flight to or from Dublin Airport. Very comfortable and convenient and the shuttle is great and runs often.

It was a miserable evening when we arrived, and I was surprised to see how large the reception and adjoining area was. My first impression was that it wasn't very warm there, and this was confirmed for me when we came down to eat later. Our room towards the end of a long corridor was so cold. We switched on the radiator in the bedroom, but it took ages […] to reach an acceptable temperature. The room was basic, but very clean, which was ok considering the reasonable room rate. Breakfast was fine, and the porridge was very good. Staff at check-in were business-like but not very friendly. There was a pleasant young man at reception in the morning when we were checking out, who apologised for the lack of heat in the room and stated we should have drawn it to their attention (which of course we should have) as they had centrally a faster method of putting the heat on. everything perfect in that hotel,high standing. only problem is a surcharge of 8e a day to park a car ,not included & detailled much in the description.still a perfect spot for an overnight stay at dublin airport

Located in the middle of nowhere, I would never contemplate going to this hotel, were it not for the need to be close to Dublin Airport the night before to catch one of those Aer Lingus awfully early red eye special flights. The room price is very good value. The airport transfer busses are very regular however one that I took had a very old and stale smell. One annoyance I had was when I asked reception for a tooth brush and toothpaste: I was invited to use their vending machine that sold such emergency kits. However at 2 EUR for such a kit with a tooth brush and a miniscule tube that barely had enough paste for one application, let alone enough to share with the rest of the family, I was rather shocked. Penny pinching like that always leaves a bad taste of an otherwise pleasant hotel stay. Mehr

We stayed in Bewleys dublin airport for one night due to our early flight next morning, check in & out was quick and room was quiet. The only complaine we have is we waited for the shuttle bus to come and depart from the hotel for more than half an hour which leaded our depature time was very tight. Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable. They provide an excellent shuttle bus service to the airport as well as secure parking. I´ll definitely stay here again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. We came back to the hoel at 3.00am and the Duty Manager arranged sandwiches for us, which we were very impressed with.

bewleys hotel Airport /failed to give wake up call for flight i morning / 2 people staying / only 1 big towel & one small towel / airport shuttle good / would stay again if these problems did not happen again C .C.

Bewley's is an excellent choice for an overnight airport stay. Its free shuttle bus is reliable and fairly easy to find. The rooms are spacious and clean and the food offered is very good and of a wide selection. The large lounge area is comfortable and informal; no loud sports TVs. The breakfast, while not included, is a good value and there are several […] price options. Best of all is the always friendly and helpful staff. A good hotel for the price near the Dublin Airport if you need to leave early in the morning. I wouldn't stay there if I was trying to see the city of Dublin -- it's too far away. We were staying at this hotel with my parents because we had an early flight the next day and it was within close proximity to the airport. We were placed in adjoining rooms apparently directly above the function room - which we did not know until late at night we heard very loud music. We called reception at 11:30pm and were told that a wedding was […] taking place until 1:00am and we were directly above the function room. Furthermore we were told we should never have been placed in the room. They offered to move us but as we were not sure if my parents were awake and it was so late at night, we were unable to say yes. Then, at 1:45am we had a wake-up call for no reason at all - I assume staff who were angered by our complaint chose to do this as a prank. In the morning my parents never received their scheduled wake-up call and luckily as they were with us we could wake them. The hotel has also made the complaint process impossible. Both that night and in the morning they have insisted there is nobody there to handle our complaint. We have sent an email and left a message for them to call us and heard nothing. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anybody. Mehr

I always stay at Bewelys, for its cleanleness, and exelent food..and very financeially doable!

We reserved a room at the Dublin Airport Bewleys to be close to the airport and to have access to a free airport shuttle. The hotel is about 10 minutes away, and rather hard to find. It is bare bones. We had to request a 2nd set of towels (for 2 people) and the only cosmetic amenities were 2 soap dispensers. The restaurant felt like a cafeteria. This hotel is used mainly as a stopover for Dublin airport departures and arrivals. To that end it succeeds very well. Large rooms. Good restaurant and bar. stayed here two separate nights with my family; the first the day before flying to pisa and lastly the night of our return, We checked in fast and took advantage of the 12,95 meal special with meal plus beer. Only suggestion I would make is they add a glass of wine to this offer in future. Took the impressive glass lift to room found along spacious […] corridors to our room which included a cot; only small criticism the second night of stay was the lady who brought the cot did not set it up though it didn't take long to sort. Room was comfortable with good bath& shower& TV had plenty of channel options a bonus after time in Italy. Breakfast we chose an express one for 7.50 first night, and this severely limits options as all items individually priced, but last morning chose the 12.95 option as you can have everything; only thing not good was fresh orange which tasted diluted and awful. Excellent 24 hr shuttle bus there from coach/shuttle park at zone 14 which when traffic quiet only takes 10 mins and driver was helpful with cases. Mehr

Loved the huge hotel bar and lounge area. Great place to relax, have a drink or a snack before going to bed. Easy free shuttle service to the airport. Only stay there for early morning flights however, not close to much in Dublin.

Perfect hotel for overnight before early flight from Dublin airport. Staff friendly and helpful. Food in bar was tasty and reasonably priced. Free shuttle bus from Coach parking area (14) in airport and back to hotel in morning.

hotel easily reached when travelling from north. Staff helpful and the open lounge always busy.Lots of people about. Cooked breakfast good but by the time you collect cups, find out where coffee, cutlery, queue at till oops food,s cold. recommend a change of out lay there. Will be back.

I chose this for his vicinity to the airport as I was flying out early in the morning. Didn't have time to do anything else but the hotel is ideal for travellers. Tea/coffe facilities in the room would be appreciated especially since it's not possible to get any if you are checking out very early in the morning.

To get to hotel front door you had to get parking ticket at gate, you have to pay to get back out; Had double room, 1 towel, no toiletries in bath; bottom sheet on bed but no top sheet, had to use heavy quilt, very hot and uncomfortable, no amenities in room; no AC in room; maid did not speak English; had parking ticket validated at desk but gate would […] not open, had to go back to desk, stayed 4 nights and this happened several times, others had same problem; last moring there had breakfast but paid cash, did not want last minute item on bill before check out but at check out there were 2 full Irish breakfasts. WILL NOT GO BACK!!! Mehr

If you're staying here it's likely for it's proximity to the airport, but there are other airport hotel on major bus routes if you would like to go into the city. This Bewleys is nothing special but the excellent price combined with spacious room, comfortable bed and quick transfer from airport makes it probably the best choice if staying overnight at Dublin airport. The driver on the transfer bus was extremely helpful with our heavy luggage. The hotel also provides parking which is much better value than the […] official \irport parking. This is our third year staying at this hotel. Everyone were very nice and the great thing we like is the bus to the Airport. The service in the lounge was one of the best.

This was a fairly nice place, especially for the price. It is close to nothing, but you can take the free airport shuttle back to the airport and catch a bus in to citycenter. The food and drinks seemed a little bit pricey, but all in all in wasn't bad for an airport hotel. The hall smelled funky, but the room was ok though we had to keep opening the […] window for fresh air. After 3 hotels in Ireland, we found that there are no mattress covers, it's just a flat sheet over the mattress, so excpect to only be using an almost too short comforter. It was comfortable, though. And there are no washcloths either. You are given only a towel and a hand towel. I use a wash cloth regularly and never use hand towels, so it wasn't fun washing my face with a large hand towel in the shower. I asked for one but maid service never seems to have one handy. We found that when you ask for things that are typical items, but that the hotel doesn't provide, the people who work there act like they don't understand and or are out of it. Basically, they play dumb. When they could just say: we don't provide wash cloths or what it is you are asking for. This was also the first hotel we stayed in where the people who work there were actually Irish! Mehr

Perfect! Close to airport with 24 hr shuttle. Very quiet room. Very good food in the restaurant. And the bar/lounge was huge with highbacked livingroom leather chairs. Highly recommend for starting or finishing an Ireland vacation!

Enjoyed stay at Bewleys Hotel last week, staff were very friendly and helpfull, and the closeness of the hotel to the airport was a bonus, very good value for room and car parking rates.

Our stay at Bewley's hotel in Dublin was wonderful. We were able to pick up the airport shuttle with minimal confusion, get checked in quickly and or room was quiet, very clean and more than comfortable. We did run into 1 snag... after checking in the hotel gave another couple the key to our room! We had to go down to the desk and correct this.... other […] than that, we would gladly stay there again and recommend Bewley's to anyone traveling in Dublin. *also a note about Bewley's breakfast, be careful about the "breakfast deals" they are not very thurough about explaining the details of what comes in the breakfast special... we spent twice as much as we thought we would!!!
