Hotel Benefis - Krakau

Das Hotel ist konfortabel und sauber, das Frühstück reichhaltig und gut, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Auto steht sicher und preiswert auf dem Hof und der Wawel (die Burg im Stadtzentrum von Krakow) ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir waren nicht zum letzten mal dort !

Gerade wer kurzfristig eine Reise nach Krakau plant und auch preislich ein Schnäppchen schlagen will, ist bei diesem Hotel richtig. Nettes Personal und Zimmer, die im Preis/Leistungsverhältnis völlig in Ordnung sind. Unser Fazit: Wir würden es wieder Buchen. Das Hotel liegt in Krakau in der Nähe einer Weichsel- brücke und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sehr gut zu erreichen.Das Personal am Empfang war sehr höflich und sehr hilfsbereit,uns bei der Organisation eines Besuches in Auschwitz über die Bus-und Bahn- verbindungen (Zeiten und Preise) per Internet zu infor- mieren.

Hotel staff were helpful/ informative regarding advice on sites to visit. City centre was within easy walking distance. No language problems as majority of people we met spoke english.

Good breakfast, modern, clean room, but a little far away from the centre, although was quite a nice walk if you dont mind that

Rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good, the location is only a nice 10 minutes walk to the centre. The only gripe I had is that the bed was not made on the second day!

Very nice hotel it is across the river from Wawel. It is maybe a 10-15 min walk to Market Square, but it was well worth the price. Room and bathroom were huge in European standards, it was very quiet, and the breakfast has something for everyone. The front desk was very helpful when asked questions. Had a great stay!

Very pleased with this hotel, which I would consider 4* standard. Large room and bathroom, helpful staff, nice breakfast, in a quiet location. Excellent value for money.

brilliant hotel the only downside is that it's about 15mins walk to the market square.Fantastic staff and breakfast at the hotel, Krakow is a wonderful city I will be back!

This is a really good, modern hotel. Staff are helpfull and always give you a nice smile. Large rooms with seating area. No tea / coffee or hair dryer in the room. The only problem is the location. It is only about 20 minuets walk to the main square, but thats a long way when it's raining and there's not much at all near the hotel.

we stayed in room 35, think this is quite a big suite for eastern europe. Staff great, very helpful, great english (great as we had no polish!) 15 min walk to old town square. Easy to book trips from. Felt very safe there. Bathroom beautiful quite newly done up, bedroom could maybe have a lick of paint on the wall but as we only booked to stay 2 nights […] that's not a problem for us. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this hotel. I was here between 24th July and 1st August 2011. The girls in receptionist were so helpfull at all times and any problems that I had regarding tours or cabs were quickly dealt with.The rooms were huge and great value.The hotel is sligthly away from the Old town but 15 minutes walk will take you in. There […] is a shop next door which was great.I took a number of excursionss and while Hotel Benefis is not on the pick up list,you can easily get picked up at Hotel across the bridge.There was tour of Auschwitz,Salt mine tour,Oscar Schlinder tour, Black Madonna tour, follow in footsteps of John Paul II and Krakow old town is remarkable. The Hotel Benefis is a small excellent hotel with high standard rooms and friendly personal service, which made my visit to Krakow even more enjoyable. The hotel offers an outstanding buffet breakfast included in price and can arrange day trips to varrious near by attractions ( Salt Mines and Auschwitz ) The hotel is located just a short 15 minute walk […] to the city square with it's many historical buildings, parks, resturants, cafes and bars and it comes highly recommend . This hotel was immaculately clean and quiet, and in a pretty reasonable location. All in all a great place to stay.

very nice hotel. room nice and big and wifi. The staff were so helpful with everything. All in its definately worth staying. You do have to be prepared for a 10/15 min walk into the centre of town though.

The Hotel was Very clean and comfortable. We had a superior room which was very large, with a seperate sitting room. The bathroom/shower room was of very high standard and immaculately clean. The power shower always had hot water. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Nice breakfast, with spotlessly clean dining room. Friendly reception staff who were always […] willing to help us with our enquiries. We really couldn't fault the hotel in any way. The hotel is a little bit out of town, across the river. We knew this when we booked and it was not a problem for us being fit and over 50! It was approximately a 20 minute walk to the Old Town. There are buses and trams to the station, the hotel can advise you. However, if you are elderly or infirm then a hotel nearer the centre would be a better choice. very friendly personal, 15 minutes walk to the city center, 10 minutes to Wawel. Good breakfast buffet. Next to the bus station. Good quality / price. Just negativ is that the rooms are in two parts and you cannot watch the TV from the bed but only from the sofa...

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the rooms were like mini suites with three distinct areas, bedroom, bathroom and living room. The hotel was across the river from the old town which meant either crossing a very busy road or following the path under the road bridge, which at night didn't feel very safe. One thing that resulted in my negative recommendation was the fact that a bottle of whisky I left on the table in the room had had a fair amount taken from it while I was out. Not acceptable! Mehr

This hotel had large clean and comfortable quiet rooms staff very friendly, Breakfast excellent hot and cold food, It was a great place to stay, just over bridge from old city/ castle. No coffee tea making in room but hotel Recption was happy to give us hot water on more than one occation.

Clean and comfortable accommodation. Stayed four nighs. Reception very helpful and obliging, helped us track down places we wanted to see and were pleasant and polite at all times. Room was spacious, clean and tidy, did get a bit warm a couple of nights with no air-conditioning though. No tea & coffee which would have been good. Bathroom was modern […] and spacious, with good shower, and nicely tiled. Breakfast was very good, with fruit juice, choice of 2 cereals, tea & coffee, breads, toaster, cold meats, cheese, fruit. Also had pancakes every other day and hot dogs and boiled eggs every day. All in all a good place to stay and only a short 15 minute walk into the main square. Mehr

we really enjoyed our short stay in this hotel in krakow,we were travelling with 2 small kids and the room was a great size for us all,the travel cot provided was of excellent quality with a cot top changer also provided.it was in short walk to the old town. the breakfast was also excellent with a wide choice.

Our room was very large and spacious, as was the bathroom. The shower was gorgeous! Everything was clean and fresh and the room was perfect. Much better than how it appears in the pictures on the website. All staff we dealt with were friendly and helpfull. The had no issues with tending to our requests... booking day trips for us. Arranging hot water […] and tea for our room (kettle's are not supplied in the room).. not was too much trouble. As it is a small hotel the breakfast buffet was not huge. But size did not matter as it catered for all needs. The breakest area itself, in theme with the rest of the hotel was spotless and well lit. Hotel Benefis deserves to be a four star accomadation and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The one negative we had during our stay was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms (Although it is provided in reception and in the eating area)... a fan was provided in each room. Which was a great help, but considering temperatures didnt drop below 30 untill after 9pm and reached 43!! during the day air conditioning was sadly missed. Saying that though... myself, my brother and my mother would return to Hotel Benefis in a heartbeat. Its a beautiful hotel with fantastic, enthusiastic staff. Mehr

We have just returned from staying 3 nights at Hotel Benefis. We used the secure parking which was very good (charged). We had a suite which had bedroom, bathroom with shower only and a lounge with a sofa bed in it. It was spacious but would have benefited from having some comfortable chairs in the lounge room as it was quite sparse. Tea and coffee […] making facilities would have been good also. It was very hot and there is no air conditioning. Breakfast selection is good apple fritters were delicious. Location is about 15 minute walk from main square. Would recommend a stay at this hotel. Me and my partner had a lovely stay at this modern, but comfortable hotel, just over the river from the Wawel and the old town. The room we had was really nice,a great size, with a modern and attractive ensuite bathroom, and lovely balcony looking over towards the Wawel. The room would be big enough to accommodate a family with 1-2 children- it had […] a sofa bed as well as a very comfortable double bed. Hotel Benefis is right across the river from the Wawel Castle, and an easy 10-minute (at most) walk to the town square. The rooms are big, spotless, comfortable. When I walked in the first time, I told the receptionist my last name. Without even looking, she smiled and said "Ah, yes, we have a reservation for you!" That made me feel welcome. The only […] reason I don't give it all highest ratings is that I suppose there are hotels that are closer to the town square, but I doubt you can get them for this price. The hotel is just as it is shown on the website. The room was very spacious even though we had our 16yr old son sleeping on the sofa bed in the room.The bathroom was spacious, clean with a very powerful shower. We also had a little balcony. The only thing missing was tea making facilities. There was quite a choice from the breakfast buffet which included […] a selection of hot food, cereals, fruit, rolls, meats, cheese & even salad! Welcoming, friendly, helpful, efficient and charming - all these superlatives apply to the staff of the Benefis. The hotel is situated very close to the city centre - just a short walk across a bridge on the Wistula, and you're in the 'old town', at the foot of Wawel Castle and Cathedral - watch out for the fire-breathing dragon! Studio room was excellant - free water on table - broadband internet connected - fantastic breakfast - great location - recommended.

super bright and big rooms, very clean, well made, its a new building (1year old) so everything is fresh ! Breakfast is EPIC and stuff wonderfull... 10 min walk to the Wawel castle by the Wisla river, very romantic. Well done Benefis. Dejligt hotel med megen fin service og glimrende morgenmad.

Et rigtig hyggeligt hotel , og et meget hjælpsom og venlig personale. Værelserne er meget store, og rigtig stort badeværelse. Helt bestemt et hotel man ville vælge igen.

Veldig alright hotell med god service og en god frokost. Ca 10 minutter å gå inn til gamlebyen. Kan absolutt anbefales :)

Vi hadde suprior-rom.Romslig,comfortabelt,rolig,gode senger,rent og pent overalt.Nydelig frokost,rikelig med god mat.Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening.Grei gangavstand til city.Det eneste vi savnet var en vannkoker.

Vi har haft et fantastisk dejligt ophold her på Benefis. Det ligger i udkanten af centrum, men alt er i gå afstand. Super service, søde og hjælpsomme, og et fint morgenmadsbuffet. Syner ikke af så meget udefra. Hotel Benefis kan virkelig anbefales.

Överraskande stort rum. Fräscht och välstädat. Bra frukost. Bra läge. Som helhet mycket bra i relation till priset.

Trevlig personal väldigt hjälpsamma med allt tex kolla busstider etc. Rent och snyggt bra skick det jag såg. Ska jag klaga på frukosten så saknade jag bacon och äggröra men nej helt okey frukost.

Vi fikk alle store, fine hotellrom med bra standard. Hotellet er rent og ordentlig, betjeningen er hyggelig og snakker bra engelsk. Området rundt hotellet er ikke det mest interessante, men det er kort vei å gå både til gamlebyen, Wawel og den jødiske bydelen.
