Crowne Plaza Festival City - Dubai

I refused to stay there for a while since the lobby represents a 2-3 ° Hotel but then I was forced to bc the ic was overbooked. I was pleasantly surprised what I found: Airy, clean rooms with wall to wall windows and a great view, quiet nights in comfortable beds, kind service and a cool pool with a great choice of lounge music. I suggest to take a […] room with Laguna view, in the winter you see a glowing burj Khalifa when sun rises and the most beautiful sunset behind it in the evening. My compliment to the chef, his meals are delicious and I like to sit outside on the terrace for breakfast. It takes only 5 min. to and from the airport. If the lobby just weren't so ugly.... Mehr

When there isn't a Exhibition in Dubai this is on of the cheapest and best 5* hotels in Dubai. But when there is an Exhibition the price is always much too high.

Das Hotel befindet sich in guter Lage, direkt in Festival City. In der nahen Mall ( 5 min Fussweg) kann man auch sehr gut essen. Möglichst ein Zimmer zum Creek nehmen, evtl. Upgrade lohnt sich!

Service in all departments was excellent, and the hotel maintained to a very high standard. We stayed over the weekend the hotel is within walking distance for the Mall, Hard Rock Cafe, Belgian Bar, Canal walk and helecopter and Dow trips. So something for everyone. I spent a week in this hotel and it was a great time. It is absolutely recommendable. Just a little far from the main attractions and from the tube station but the cost of the taxi is absolutely affordable. The view is excellent, the breakfast absolutely delicious, the gym and the swimming pools very very pleasant.

Had an excellent stay with crown plaza. Very conveniently attached to festival city mall. Was a given a room with an amazing view of the creek and the city. Wish I reserved the room with breakfast but didn't easily see this when booking with Expedia. It would been good to try out the breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel and location. The service was outstanding and the staff were more than willing to provide top service to all guests. The hotel is on the creek and less than 15 minutes from the airport. The Festival City Centre is right next door, so shopping, restaurants and the Hard Rock cafe is at a short walking distance. Taxis are easily accessible […] and relatively inexpensive. The Emirates metro station is a mere 5 minute taxi ride from the hotel, so jump in a cab, then onto the metro and ride towards downtown the beach. I arrived in Dubia at 01:30 and got to the Hotel around 02:30 and I was told I was early for check in time. The hotel told me check in time was not till 14:00 and was treated like a bum. I was not treated like a guest and welcomed and then over charged. The staff was verry disrespectful and not nice.

The rooms, staff and service are always fantastic. This is the first time that my bathroom wasn't as spotless as usual. Nothing I couldn't tidy up myself but was still a little disappointed. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel and I love to stay there. Its very comforting when months are between stays and they always remember you.

We (Monique and Julius) had the best experience of our life at the Crown Plaza, and we felt like celebrities the entire time. The hotel staff and restaurant wokers (Mike) and the host (with dreads) were the best ever, and they provided us with comfort and enjoyment during all of our meals. The room was elegant, and fit for a King and Queen, and we couldn't […] have ask for a better time. The Desert Safari tour was magnificient, we recommend everyone go on it. Our first night was the greatest, thanks to the guy that check us into the hotel, and the gym was awesome. Very nice hotel. From check in to check out the staff was friendly and helpful. Being attached to the Festival City Mall was a bonus. We really appreciated the fact that this was a completely smoke free hotel! Too bad we were only there for 1 night!

We loved the hotel; great facilities, lovely room and choice of bars/restaurants in the Crowne Plaza as well as next door to watch the sunset before deciding where to eat. Staff were very friendly and accommodating without being over the top. We were happy to stay in this part of Dubai as we were only there for a few days and were not intending to go […] to the beach. Excellent 5 star hotel with resonable sized rooms all with great views of Dubai cityscape. Hotel service was good and staff very helpful. Very near to the airport and central Dubai is only a short taxi ride away. You also have the shops and restaurants at Festival City on your doorstep.

A very nice stay. I liked the whole experience including the location that was very prime and close to the Dubai festival city shopping mall. Service was nothing less than excellent. I will sure go back again.

It's a very nice place to stay in with your family. The view is pleasant, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The room is very clean. It's close to the airport. Its only a five minute walk from the CP to Dubai Festival Mall. However, its far away from the other main Malls in Dubai, like The Emirates Mall, Dubai Mall (you will pay alot via Taxi) […] but overall a very nice place to stay in and relax if your biggest concern wasn't going around shopping in Dubai :) Mehr

I enjoyed my stay at Crown Plaza. The staff was the best!!! Always wearing a smile and willing to help. Welllllllll there was the one incident when the waitress took my plate up before I was finish eating and placed it under other dirty dishes. When I told her I was not finish, she attempted to put my plate back down on the table. I had to speak to […] her about that. Very unsanitary. She didn't make me happy and she wasn't wearing a smile after that. I didn't make much of it after I left breakfast. I made sure I didn't get her to wait on me after that incident. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are special in ways you wont experience at other hotels. Try it for yourself and see. I like the hotel being in the mall. However I do have a favorite mall in Dubai, so I had to catch a taxi to get to it. The distance was short and the taxi fare was inexpensive. I was referred by a friend. I recommend it to others and I will stay there again. Mehr
