Downtown Residence Apartments - Prag

Very nice indeed, the only down side is the washing machine is not working.

Since the check-in location is away from the apartment and we didn't notice it until we arrived. Therefore, we got some trouble on the day. Also, the other residents are very noise at night, however, since the office of the hotel is not in the same building, we couldn't able to make a complain. Apartment: A very spacious and clean apartment. But there was a constant cigarette smell that lingered in the air, but this was not too annoying. It was good to have the space we did, rather than couped up in a hotel room (personal choice). We had the apartment on the top floor - fantastic views of the city from the roof windows. The apartment room […] number was 41. Location was central to all major attractions - we walked everywhere and did not use public transport at all. Pretty much round the corner from Wencelas Square, which then is not that far from the Old Town Square. The River is also within 10 mins walk. Prague is a very beautiful place and you'll not be stuck for anything to do or see. We were there for 3 nights. Food & Drink: Plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes to choose from. Not as cheap as I'd thought it would be, but didn't stop me from enjoying the local cuisine and Pilsner Urquell. Beer/Vodka generally cost around 95 koruna. There is a Tesco nearby should you want to cook in the apartment (which we did - breakfast every morning before we ventured out for the day). Airport Transfers: We arranged this with the apartment owners prior to travelling and were met at the airport by their driver who led out as to a clean modern minibus (just for us). I paid the driver 39 euros in total for the transfer to the apartment and return. Would not hesitate staying here again. Mehr

This apartment is old but ok condition. It was clean when we arrived. The kitchen had all necessary plus with washer. It can fit 6 persons. The location is walking distance to downtown. Be sure before you head to the apartments to ask where is headquarter to pick your keys otherwise they will charge 20 Euros for delivery. If you stay longer and need […] fresh towels they will charge 15 Euros for delivery. I was with my family and we had a good time. Mehr

We stayed in an apartment in Prague with a river view. It was a wonderful, large place with a kitchen, foyer, 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We were automatically upgraded to this apt. as our smaller apt. had water heater issues so the hotel didn't even bother checking us into that one. I stayed hear with 4 girlfriends while on a 4 city mini-tour of Europe. This was by far the largest apartment that we stayed in with plenty of bathrooms and showers. The beds were comfortable and the location was great. The pictures, however, are quite deceiving. While I loved the apartment, some of my friends were disappointed by the fact that it was […] a bit old and dingy. I thought it had character. A few issues that may cause concern for some: one of the bedrooms and bathrooms reaked of cigarette smoke. The smoke came in through a vent, so if this is going to cause issues, this may not be the apartment for you. Also, there is a great kitchen provided with a huge dining room table. When we first came in, we envisioned saving a bit of money and cooking at home. However, the refrigerators do not work and in fact when the larger one is opened, you may find yourself running to the bathroom as it smells as if something died in there. Other than that, though, the apartment is great for large groups. There were only five of us total, but there were 9 beds and two couches. Great deal!! Mehr

it was a great experience to stay in this hotel, everything is just nearby and within walking distance...just beware that the check in office is located in another place, u have to go there to collect your keys before u go to the apartment directly.

Huoneiston sijainti oli loistava, kivenheiton päässä esim Vaclavin aukiolta. Ei kuitenkaan ihan siellä ytimessä, eli ympäristöstä löytyy aitoa prahalaista elämänmenoa ja kohtuuhintaisia mukavia kuppiloita. Huoneiston varustelu oli hyvä, luvattua hiustenkuivaajaa siellä ei tosin ollut, mutta sekin tuotiin saman päivän aikana kun sitä pyydettiin. Huoneiston […] kunto oli heikompi kuin kuvista saattoi päätellä, mutta sitä olisi pitänyt osata odottaa edullisen hinnan perusteella. Tilaa oli kyllä todella runsaasti, kahden makuuhuoneen huoneistossa ehkä liikaakiin kahdelle : ) Siivooja kävi kerran yhdeksän päivän aikana, mutta me emme päivättäistä siivousta kaivanneetkaan. Vi havde en lejlighed med 2 soveværelser, stue, køkken, bad og separat toilet. Højloftet ældre lejlighed med en vis charme. Masser af plads til 5 personer, der kunne sagtens have været flere. Ret centralt beliggende, ikke langt fra den gamle bydel, men så tilpas langt væk at der ikke var mange turister i området, men mest tjekker, samt ikke mindst "tjekkiske" […] priser. Eneste negative punkt er at nøglen skal hentes flere kilometer væk, på den anden side af floden. Mehr

At first sight it was a nice room with some nice people. But soon after everything turned wrong and they were angry if you asked them about something and was angry if you told them that something was not okay. We will never come back to this place. We have been in Prague many times before, but this was the worst experience ever. The driver that needed […] to pick us up the last day forgot everything about it and was more than 30minuttes late and ... I could go on but i will only say one more thing. Besides that the accused us of missing a key and said that we should pay for it. It took us 30 minutes to tell them that we only got 3 sets before they let us go. Mehr
