Im NH Giustinano stimmte alles: Zum Mittelklassepreis gab es ein sehr modern und stilvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer (hatten allerdings das Angebot zum Upgrade wahrgenommen). Das Zimmer war groß, das Bett sehr bequem. Das Bad war klein, aber mit allem ausgestattet, was erforderlich ist. Das Zimmer war nach erstem Anschein sauber. Der Service war in Ordnung, insbesondere beim Frühstückspersonal hätten wir uns mehr Freundlichkeit gewünscht. Aber das ist nach unserer Erfahrung Rom-typisch. Das Frühstück selbst war vielseitig und schmackhaft (mit Ausnahme des Automaten-Kaffees).

Das Hotel liegt ausserhalb von Rom und ist wirklich sehr günstig über die Bahnstation Pantanella zu erreichen. Es ist in einem sehr guten Zustand mit Marmorböden und vielen Details, die es schön verzieren. Ein typisches italienisches Früstück ist zu erwarten, das sich in Umfang vom deutschen unterscheidet. Leider haben wir gefühlt das mit Abstand schlechteste Zimmer bekommen, da es im Gegensatz zum gesamten Hotel wirklich sehr einfach eingerichtet war. Aber es war sauber und wir hatten vier schöne Tage in Rom. Empfehlenswert vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Wir verbrachten insgesamt 4 Tage mit unseren Kindern in Rom. Das Familienappartement des B&B war Ideal für uns. Die Lage In unmittelbarer Nähe zum Kolosseum und zur Metro war hervorragend. Der Vermieter ist unheimlich freundlich und hat sich bestens um uns gekümmert. Die Zimmer waren sauber und ruhig gelegen, die Betten waren sehr gut.
Lage
Via Veneto House - Guest House liegt in Rom (Via Veneto). In der Nähe befinden sich: Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Antica, Villa Borghese und Spanische Treppe. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Forum Romanum und Kolloseum.
Ausstattung
Es wird täglich ein kostenloses Frühstück angeboten. Via Veneto House - Guest House bietet Folgendes: mehrsprachiges Personal, Unterstützung bei der Tourenplanung/beim Ticketerwerb und Lebensmittelgeschäft/kleiner Laden. Ein kostenloser Highspeed-Internetzugang per Kabel steht in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Außerdem steht Folgendes zur Verfügung: Parken ohne Service, Fahrstuhl und Express Check-in. Die Via Veneto wurde 1960 durch den Film "La Dolce Vita" berühmt und erlebt gerade eine glanzvolle Renaissance. Die Bars, Restaurants, schicken Hotels und Boutiquen wetteifern miteinander um die Aufmerksamkeit der Passanten. Dieser Straße ist auch der Begriff Paparazzo zu verdanken - so hieß der Fotojournalist im Film. Nicht weit davon entfernt ist die Spanische Treppe. Dort finden sich oft Liebespärchen ein, es gibt Geschäfte und viele Menschen frönen mit Müßiggang und dem Beobachten von Menschen der italienischen Kunst des "dolce far niente".

If you don't have the biggest budget, but want to live mid-town (in a quiet area) - this is perfect! A more friendly and keen to help staff is hard to find. They don't have a front desk, so you'll have to tell them when you arrive so they can meet you and give you keys and some practical info. The hotel (a flat, really) has only 4 rooms, so we felt […] really safe, and well cared for. Breakfast consist of a coffee and a croissant served in a local bakery (where the italians come in for their morning coffee - standing, in their fab.suits). If you prefer some more substantial food, you can either go to a restaurant - or make it in the little kitchenette in your room. The area is very quiet, not much traffic and you can't hear any screaming drunks in the night. Not even on New Years Eve.. (We were even got a Happy New Year-present from the owners.) Thank You!!! "The Hotel Via Veneto in Rome, Italy - conveniently"
close to many of the must-see places in Rome, many within walking distance, but also close to the metro and busses. For the breakfast you arae given a voucher for a cappucino and a crossant at a cafe on Via Veneto (around the corner from the B&B). We would consider it again.

"Strange room"
This room was perfectly located right near Via Veneto. But iot was strange. The manager was only there from abaout 8 - 2. They had great air conditioners but no shampoo. Great TV but no soap. If you lost your key I'm not sure what you would do at night. The price was good and the elevator worked fine. Just be aware t hat the savings comes with a little […] inconvenience. "Via Veneto Guest House"
The Guest home is located in an upscale area of Rome. Very safe and very residential. The restaurants and services nearby were good. Maximilliano(?) was very informative and answered any questions we had. The room was a bit small and there was very little room to sit but the convenience and neighborhood outweighed the negative.

You need to make sure that you call them prior to arrival to arrange someone to meet you(this wonderful lady waited for us for over 2 hours due to flight delay). "Great rates for a decent room near Via Veneto"
This is a good choice if all you need is a clean, conveniently located room to sleep in in Rome. It's a block away from the extravagant Via Veneto, where the hotels are astronomically priced. Our friends who stayed nearby paid more for one night than we paid for all three! I would not suggest this hotel if you want a room to hang around in because the […] rooms are small and quite basic. Note that we are somewhat middle-aged travelers, a bit past our youth-hosteling days. We find that we now need a hotel with a few more "creature comforts" than we did in the past -in that regard, we were a bit disappointed, but given the price and that we only slept in the room, it was a great choice for us. The Via Veneto House was very afordable, the staff was fraiendly and helpful. We were able to walk to many of the attractions and there were good resturants in a wide range of prices near by. "Via Veneto B&B in Rome"
We stayed two nights here while in Rome, and were happy with our stay. The pluses were many (cleanliness, location, friendliness of staff) and the negatives were few. Since I always read reviews to find out if I can live with the negatives, I will list them to help others: the room was rather small (but since in Rome there is so much to see, we were […] barely there so it wasn't a big deal) and the breakfast was not so great. It was in a small Cafe in the street next to ours (nice street with lots of shops and stuff going on) but the staff there seemed to treat us badly as soon as he saw our "certificate" for a breakfast from the hotel. He even just threw whatever on our plates without even asking us, and seemed inconvenienced when I said that I wanted to choose something else. It is a bit disappointing because this cafe is a normal bakery with lots of nice things to choose from, but what you get with your certificate from the B&B is quite límited (to a sweet croissant and hot drink) so it is a bit disappointing. But we got a great price for this hotel, so all in all, we were happy with the choice. Also worth mentioning is the young lady working there, she was so friendly and helpful during our stay, even giving us lots of tips on where to go, and helping us with our luggage when we arrived. Overall, Via Veneto House - Guest House was a comfortable hotel in a very nice neighborhood. The amenities were great - a tea/coffee maker in the room, a public computer, and nice complimentary breakfast. However, the staff would not hold our bags for us after check out, meaning that we had to leave Rome much earlier than we had hoped. "great location for a reasonable price"
This is not a Hotel in the traditional sense it is a nice apartment in a big Roman Town House, which I feel gives a more real experience. The breakfast is great, on the Saturday morning we were given a voucher for coffee and a pastry in a little bakery on the Via Venetto which was full of locals. On the Sunday morning we were brought a lovely continental […] breakfast to the room. The location is great in my favourite part of Rome and this is a great budget option in a high end area. My only fault on the stay is we were checking out early on Sunday but our flight was late that night and we could not leave our bags, however the lady did say there was an area in Termini Station to store them for the day and this is what we did which worked out fine. We lived in Rome for five years so we are very familiar with how the hotels are down in the center. Most hotels for tourist are way overpriced, no air-conditioning and sometimes you share a bathroom. This hotel has air-conditioning, it was a fantastic location, and the rooms are very clean and practically new. There are no shared bathrooms either. A […] lot of Americans will not like the smallness of the room, but our room, which was one of the smallest of the four that the hotel has, was superb. It is small but there is plenty of room for what we used it for, sleeping. There was a flat screen tv also. It had hard wood floors and beautiful light fixtures and mirrors in the hall. The people running it were very friendly, but you are left on your own during the day since they leave. It was fine for us because we needed no help, but someone who does not know about Rome might feel intimidated by that. There is a shared computer and free internet access in the hall. Adresse pour jeunes pas trop regardant sur le confort. Le lit était confortable et la chambre propre. Les portes sont minces donc attendez-vous à être réveillé à 8h lorsque les proprios arrivent (mais bon, si vous êtes là pour visiter, pas de prob!). SdB petite et douche manquant de pression mais propre. L'accueil est par contre super chaleureux et […] on vous donne de bon tuyaux pour découvrir la ville. L'emplacement est à mon avis très bon avec bus à 4min et métro à 7-8. La Via Veneto est en plus très belle pour flâner ou prendre l'apero (quoique chère). Gros point noir par contre: ils notent "petit déjeuner continental" alors qu'en fait c'est un bon pour un café et un croissant dans la boulangerie du coin. "Très bon hôtel accueil charmant"
Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans cet hôtel. C'est idéalement situé, proche du métro Barberini et Piazza Spagna avec de très bon restaurants dans un rayon assez proche. Les responsables de l'hôtel sont là pour vous donner tous les renseignements et conseils. Les chambres sont petites mais d'une propreté irréprochable. Very friendly staff at the hotel. They don't serve breakfast, but you get voucher to a bar close to it. They speak very good english, and are very helpful if you need anything. The rooms are not big, but you don't want to spend much time in a hotelroom when you are in Rome. The hotel is safe and secure. Prices are good. Je m'attendais à un hotel standard mais le style était plutot celui d'une maison d'hote! J'ai séjourné avec ma mère et ce fut un véritable plaisir. La chambre était propre. Aucune nuisance sonore. De plus, un pc est à disposition pour surfer sur internet. Nous avons été accueilli par une charmante jeune fille qui nous a donné de nombreux conseils pour […] les restaurants et les visites. Cependant, nous avons rencontré des difficultés à trouver l'hotel parce que le plan fourni n'est pas clair. Il ne faut pas descendre à la station "piazza di spagna" mais à "barberrini" et ensuite il faut marcher (eh oui il n'y a que deux lignes de métro). Glimrende hotel til prisen lige ved siden af den store lækre park Villa Borghese og ligger i det hele taget centralt (5 min gang til den spanske trappe, Piazza Popolo, Del Corso mv.). "Mye for pengene"
Via Veneto House er et billig boalternativ i et eksklusivt strøk. Man skal ikke forventet luksus, men alt er velfungerende. Bl.a var senga overaskende god. Hvis jeg skal foreslå noen forbedringer, så må det være å skaffe minst en engelskspråklig nyhetskanal til den ellers gode TVn. Tilgang til trådløst internett hadde også vært praktisk, selvom vi hadde […] gratis tilgang til PCn på gangen. Froksten i bakeriet ca. 3 min gange var heller ikke noe for en morgensulten nordmann. En crossiant og en kopp kaffe/te var i minste laget, men for en Euro ekstra blir du sikkert mett. Vi trivdes veldig godt. Mehr
