unbelievable service and comfort. location doesn't fit the location area, but the hotel and staff made up for that. the beds were to die for and the whole suite was beautifully maintained. the breakfast was super and i will definitely be coming back and telling everyone to stay there. thank you staybridge

I travel a lot for work and have stayed at many different hotels. From now on, however, whenever I find myself in Reno I will be staying at the Staybridge. When I walked in, the staff was pleasant and personable. Check-in was quick and easy. I was even offered free hot tee or cold beer to start my evening. I stayed in the one bedroom suite. It had […] everything one would expect a small condo to have except an oven. Over all, I was very impressed. Things were clean and comfortable. The dishes and pots and pans were sufficient to cook a decent meal. The hotel also has a pool, hot tub, laundry facility and workout room. The pool, hot tub and workout room was nothing special. However, being able to do laundry (free of charge) is a major plus for anyone planning an extended stay trip. One thing I always note when staying at a hotel is the bed. Usually, hotels beds feel...well like a hotel bed. This bed, however actually felt like home. This is a major plus for me. I was also impressed with the included hot breakfast. It had just about everything I could want included eggs, waffles, hot and cold cereal and fruit. The biggest downside to this hotel for me was the distance to the downtown area. While 10 miles isn't a long distance, after a long flight and during rush hour it is less than ideal. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. It comes close to feeling like "home" while being on the road. If you have a few days in Reno for work, stay here, you will be thankful. Mehr

Great place to stay if your planning a ski trip or just a nice weekend away. Close enough to Reno for those who want to play and close to Mt. Rose Ski resort for those who want to ski. The breakfast was lovely and the sitting area over looks the beautiful mountains. The kids loved the indoor pool, being able to swim in a warm pool and watching it snow […] was pretty cool. If you are the type that needs someone to haul your luggage to your room for you, this may be a problem. No bell hop or housekeeping on weekends, but the front dest was always willing to help if needed. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Mehr

Stayed here on New Years Eve. Enjoyable stay very clean and quiet. The staff was very courteous and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay up until our check out. We stay in hotels regularly, so we have made it a habbit to strip the linens from our bed to ensure we haven't misplaced anything and leave it behind. Upon doing so we discovered a dirty black ankle sock between the sheets at the bottom of the bed that did not belong to neither of us. You can only imagine […] our surprise and pure disgust when we learned that we had just spent the past two nights in another guests soiled sheets. When we arrived in our room the bed was made pillows arranged and card on the bed that would make one think that the bed was freshly changed... Pure disgust! Contacted hotel management and reported what had happened but three days later, not so much as a phone call. We will never stay here again. Mehr

I stayed here during a business trip. The hotel is very nice, and the rooms are wonderful (I was in a King suite that had a small kitchenette/living room area separate from the bedroom/bathroom). The staff was wonderful and breakfast is good too. They have a lot of amenities on site including a small convenience store type area with lots of options, […] and a business center with printer, which is great for getting your boarding pass. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Reno - it's also only about 10 or 15 minutes max from the airport, which was very convenient. Mehr

This is a very nice hotel, very clean and still has that "new" feel to it. The employees are friendly and helpful when approached with questions. Parking is no problem, and the hotel is located within a few miles of some good restaurants, many of which are located on Virginia Street. I have been able to get a good night's sleep every time I have stayed […] there (10 total nights) -- the walls between rooms seem to be solid enough to cut down on neighbor noise. The only real noise issue that I have noticed is hallway noise, mostly people slamming their doors (not sure if this is just how these doors typically sound when they shut or if no one knows how to shut a door gently). The workout room is good-sized and has 2 treadmills, 2 bikes, and various strength-training equipment. Next to this room is a pool and hot tub/spa. Again, both areas are very clean and well maintained. The laundry area is a small off-shoot of the workout room and has multiple washers/dryers to use. Kitchen area includes: fridge/freezer with ice maker, microwave, stovetop, silverware, plates, glasses/cups, all the basic kitchen utensils. Basically, you can prepare any meal in your room except for things you have to bake because there is no oven (but it seems like most pre-made store-bought baked meals nowadays can be microwaved). However, even with the nice in-room kitchen feature, everyday (at least Mon-Sat) there is free hot breakfast! The hot food will vary from eggs, bacon, omelettes, to biscuits and gravy, depending on which day of the week. There are waffles every day, as well as typical things like cereal, fruit, cottage cheese, oatmeal, peeled hardboiled eggs, juice, coffee, tea, toast, muffins, etc. Now, I am not sure if this is provided on Sundays, but Mon-Fri breakfast is from 6:30-9:30 and starts an hour later on Saturday. And, regardless of which kind of room you book, free breakfast is included (I noticed on hotels.com that some of the cheaper rooms say "free breakfast not included Mehr

Great place to stay felt there was good value-- plus a great free breakfast.

While it was not in the middle of the action for Street Vibrations, it was between Reno and Virginia City. There were restaurants and grocery stores nearby, and with the kitchen in the room it was perfect! They have a nice (but small) indoor pool and hot tub. And a patio in case you want to BBQ. When we got there I thought "this is miles from anywhere ". Then we hired a car and was glad after visiting downtown Reno that we had chosen staybridge. Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Breakfast was a nice start to the day

The hotel is new and in very nice condition. We stayed there for three nights in a king suite. The room was very spacious with a mid-sized refrigerator, two burner cook top stove, sing, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen was fully stocked with salt, pepper, dishes, pots / pans and utensils. The bed was pleasant with plenty of pillows. There were […] two flat screen tv’s in the room with DVD players. There was a laundry facility on the premises and free breakfast each morning. If I was going to stay a week in Reno for business or with a family, I would stay here. It is very user friendly. I stayed in Reno two years ago for a conference. I stayed in one of the casino hotels and it was very smoky. I do not smoke and the smell really messed up my sinuses. This property is smoke free. I enjoyed this property and would recommend it. Rooms feel miniature and overall have a very cheap feel. Comfortable beds though.

The hotel staff was excellent, the amenities were good for a longer stay and the buffet breakfast was a good way to start the day.

Friendly, helpful staff; "happy hour" with complimentary beer, wine, and munchies; wonderful pool, hot tub, and work-out facility; complimentary laundry facility; great selection at the included breakfast! Comfortable lobby/lounge area, as well as guest rooms. Highly recommend!

Really clean and modern hotel. in great location, close to restaurants, high way... two complaints: 1. can't control the temperature of the room. typically too hot... 2. No room service during weekends except you request by Friday 5pm. but people typically arrive after 5pm for a weekend stay :(

This hotel was ideal for our trip. It was my grown son and 6 year old grandson with me, and i chose it because I felt we would be comfortable there. The pool was wonderful and clean. The full breakfast got us off to a good start each day. Free parking and internet were a real plus. And there was a free washer and dryer available. Detergent was available […] for a price, so consider packing your own, but that was minor. No slots and non smoking made me happy. A great choice for Tahoe, Reno trip. Mehr

The staff was welcoming, the room was prestene and our stay with staybridge was wonderful! I only had the breakfast in the morning, and it was hot, fresh and delious. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The service from check in to check out was awesome. The best part was the friendly staff. Very rare in this modern, busy urban lifestyle. Very nice touches, like hot dogs and snacks at night with free beer. All the guests were hanging out in the lobby and talking. it was like a party. And it was all complimentary.

This property was better than we expected - The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent, and more than we expected. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Very happy with our overall stay. The staff was extremely accomodating and for a Reno destination, if you want a not smoking quiet atmosphere, this is the place!

My room was not cleaned over the weekend. There were dogs in the motel. Food was fine. Over all service was fine.

The host was very friendly and happy to help us with all our needs. The room was very nice. We loved the pool area and were pleased to have the large common outdoor patio. The beds were very comfortable. It was a wonderful stay.

Took three grandkids to Hot August Nights,did not get room I requested.The facility was A-1,breakfast was very good,a little remote,resaonably priced.

The inside of the hotel is beautiful. The room was great. It was nice having a living room for the kids to hang out at and the bedroom for us parents to relax in without disturbing each other. The deskclerk called the room shortly after we checked in to make sure that everything was fine. This was a wonderful place for our stay. We were on a budget and the rate was extremely affordable. The full kitchen in our double queen room suite helped us save money especially for some of our pickiest eaters. The kids loved the pool and we were glad there were not any distracting 'casino' like noises or games as well. The hotel was very clean-however-we reserved a room with 2 queen beds and ended up getting a room with a king bed and a hide-away bed. They do not serve breakfast until 7:30-which is to late for most business travel. The room came equiped with a coffee maker-but was only stocked with decaff coffee-they were going to charge me for regular coffee.

Great hotel for family. Nice location (away from casinos and downtown). Would definitely stay there again when in Reno. My children really liked it as well, and that says alot.

This hotel was better than expected. There was a manager's reception the night we stayed with snacks and hot dogs with beer and wine. It was a great meal without going out and all for free. The room was excellent. The pool was very nice. We would definitely stay again.

Loved it here, very comfortable for our family of 5. Awesome room with kitchenette, great bathroom, modern room and lobby. Complimentary breakfast with d-i-y waffles was a hit! Other food items were fresh, hot, tasty. Staff very friendly from the front desk to room attendants to food attendant. Loved the complimentary laundry, put clothes in to wash […] & dry while we took advantage of the pool and gym next door. Area is pretty, great amenities within walking distance, we strolled down the street for dinner and dessert with the kids. Also walked around the building in the day for exercise. This is an awesome hotel all the way around. It is located in a business park about 12 miles form the Reno strip. The staff was extremely accomodating! They were able to meet all of our needs. Internet is free and they have a nice outside barbeque area with nice lounges and tables that are great for sitting out with your laptop. We were in Reno for Street Vibrations. We arrived on Thursday. The man at the desk was very polite and helpful. He invited us back down to the lobby where they were serving complimentary chili, beer, and wine at 5:30. (nice) We used the indoor pool and spa, and the washer & dryer. We also BBQd some steaks out on the patio. It was really nice. The room […] was comfortable, although the kitchen area is VERY small. There was no housekeeping service on the weekends, but they told us this ahead of time so we made sure we had plenty of towels I will definiely stay here again next year. Mehr

This location was beatiful and a pleasant surprise! The room was exceptionally clean and had more amenities than listed. The staff was friendly, helpful and locals...which means they actually knew what they were talking about! They headed us to some nice and funfilled venues that we never would have found otherwise.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Staybridge. The staff was well informed and happy to assist us with all our needs. The city we live in has large Hotels and Motels, we could compare our stay to any 4 star hotel in our city. Well Done Staybridge!!!!

Staybridge Suites met our need for a place to stay as we passed through Reno. It was convenient to the interstate and not too far from restaurants. The room was nicely appointed and comfortable and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was good, and there were complementary tacos at the time we arrived.

It took about 3 minutes to check-in, and that was only because there was someone in front of us. Our actual check-in took about 30 seconds! Breakfast was great - REAL eggs and bacon. Hot waffle machine (you have to wait 3.5 minutes for each one though), fruit, bagels, etc. Indoor pool/spa was small, but nice. Decent fitness room. Hotel appeared brand-new. […] Room was wonderful, especially the stove, fridge, and convenience of having pans/plates/utencils/salt/pepper. TV's and granite were very nice touch. Definitely would stay at another StayBridge. Location is a bit out-of-the-way, but worth it. Mehr

Hotel was wonderful. Clean, fresh and had all the needs we wanted. We automatically rec'd a call from the lobby upon entering our room to ask if everything is okay and if the room is clean. Breakfast was great and they also offered tea/coffee in the lobby. From the hotels in downtown Reno that smell like smoke..this is worth the extra 10 minute or so […] drive! Mehr
