Meteor Val de Loire Resort - Amboise

We got a special rate for this hotel because the work on the grounds is not yet finished. But the rooms were tasteful and immaculately clean. The service was too good (too many towel changes) and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The best value hotel stay I have ever had !

Für einen Zwischenhalt gut geeignet. Die Zimmer sind schön aber die Böden und Tische waren nicht sauber gereinigt. Die Betten hingegen tadellos. Wir haben nicht dort gegessen, sondern im nahegelegenen Städchen, da es im Hotel zu teuer ist. Die Parkanlage sieht ungepflegt aus und das Schwimmbad ist sehr klein. Das Personal am Empfang war freundlich.

Our GPS had us up the road a bit but the hotel and staff were great once we got to it.

Good value especially for family with some facilities to heat up food. Near to Amboise town only about 10 mins drive with supermarket nearby. The only drawback is the car park which is about 100 meters from the apartment and during Winter it could be quite inconvenient. Overall good and we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed that hotel to visit the Loire Valley castles. Chenonceau and Amboise are only minutes away. The hotel exceeded our expectations with good amenities, a lot of space and a friendly service.

It is very comfort stay at Meteor Val De Loire. We have been upgraded our service apartment to 2 storey bldg., 2 bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. It felt like home there. Only the car park was not convenient because all cars had to be parked at the car park which quite far away from the apartment. This seems to be an unfinished time-share that has taken to renting rooms for the night to caover the bills. Each room (actually half a duplex) is very modern and comfortable. And you can't beat the peace and quiet. The only downside is the location. It is the middle of nowhere. No problem if you are cooking yourself in the kitchen (however there are […] no pots, pans cutlery or dishes in the place for you to use). Otherwise it is a fifteen minute drive into Amboise. On the whole, it offers excellent value for money, especially if travelling as a family and need multiple rooms. The kids enjoyed the pool. I would definitely stay here again. It just takes a bit of getting used to being in an unfinished time-share that seems devoid of human life. When we first arrived, it reminded us of those fake towns built to test atom bombs . Mehr

This hotel was perfect for a quick overnight stop - we were flying out of Tours airport (about 30 mins away). It has a small outdoor pool - perfect for kids who have been sitting in a car for a long journey. The complex was quiet at night time and our room was comfortable. We had thought we booked a 'self catering' appartment for the end of our road trip and on arrival were given an appartment with kitchen but no utensils, pans, cups, plates, nothing the cupboards were bare. We assumed when we booked 'Self Catering' and was shown the room with the kitchen' we would get a kitchen where we could 'cater' for 'ourselves'. […] After being told we should of asked for the Self Catering room with 'Fully Equipped Kitchen' and it was our error - which was heavily debated - tired and hungry we stumped up the extra Euros to be moved to a room where we could cook the food just purchased. Apart from this rooms were comfortable, clean, workable (in fully equiped kitchen) and looked like new. Location excellent for a short drive to main town. A good base for trips and days out. Kids loved the use of the pool, although fairly small and stark it was clean, well kept and served its purpose. There was also a pleasant bar and restaurant on site for meals which is why we believe they keep the 'small print' small. Mehr

Everything about the hotel was great, except that the location was somewhat remote. Without a car, we had to rely on taxis, but we found a reliable driver and were very satisfied with those arrangements. We could have seen more of the area, however, if we had had a car. Ate two meals there. Dinner was great, as was the breakfast buffet.

We checked into our apartment a few days ago for a one night stop over on the way to Charente. Address we had for Meteor was not recognised by our SAT NAV and took us about an hour of driving around the local area to find it. On arrival we were a little early and ended up waiting over and hour to get into apartments. Apartment we had which was a Luxe […] was great. Only downside was that there was no cutlery, kettle or cups or plates etc ...we had cooking facilities but no means of using them...even a dish washer but no plates to put in there. My husband went to reception to be told if you want plates, cutlery, cooking utensils etc we had to pay 30 euros. In the end we went to local supermarket and bought some plates, forks, cups and a frying pan which cost us 8 euros. Receptionists said that there restaurant is there so you can eat in but we like to cater for ourselves...(not helpful) Mehr

We cannot wait to return to this place. The townhome layout gave everyone plenty of outdoor space AND indoor living. The beds were very comfortable, the living room/dining room/kitchenette very spacious, and the bathroom met all our needs. The countryside is beautiful, and we intend on dedicating more time to visiting the castles and local towns on […] our next visit. This hotel is in a great location for visiting the chateaux of the Loire Valley. It is just outside a small town with a good variety of restaurants as well. We stayed in a Junior Suite which is perfect for a longer stay since it had a mini kitchen and dining area. There was no air-conditioning so don't go in the heat of summer.

Rooms are very nice but the grounds upkeep is moderate. Weeds grow around the buildings, the lawns look bad (lots of weeds and bald spots) and the grounds look empty (almost no trees and shrubs). Sort of the "Eastern European look". Cars can not enter the grounds and parking is on a dusty unpaved lot. so you have to schlep your stuff to your room and […] your shoes and car get a nice grey cover. Mehr

Très agréablement surpris!! franchement très facile d'accès, environnement calme, déco moderne. Le rapport qualité/prix est largement intéressant. Pour couple ou bande de copains c'est très intéressant! (et pourquoi pas avec des enfants, je n'ai pas vu toutes les prestations). Proche de plusieurs chateaux à visiter, possibilités de prendre et stocker […] vélos. Je l'ai recommandé à mes parents pour cet été! Mehr

La suite de luxe est très spacieuse, une véritable petite maison, déco agréable, excellente impression. Dommage que les véhicule ne soient pas aurorisés à se garer à proximité des chambre, le site est vaste (il faut dire qu'il pleuvait).

Les chambres correspondent à des petits appartements. Déconseillé pour séjours romantiques mais recommandé pour séjours en famille. Alentours relativement peu accueillants (surtout la nuit). Un peu excentré d'amboise.

grand complexe touristique ouvert en 2008, prévu pour des séjours ou séminaires, quelques studios sont loués comme chambres hors saison. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Está muy bien, sobre todo para ir con niños. Limpian las habitaciones cada día. Lo único, que la entrada al apartamento no la limpian y está siempre llena de arena. La situación es buena, pero tienes que cojer el coche para todo, ya que está a las afueras del pueblo. Yo repetiría y lo recomendaría.

네비게이션이 정확히 리조트 위치를 찾아주지 못했지만 가격 대비 최상이었음. 2층으로 이루어진 독채를 사용했는데 1층은 거실과 주방 화장실로 이루어져 있고 2층은 부부침실, 자녀 침실, 샤워부스, 화장실, 자그마한 거실로 이루어져 있어서 가족이 지내기 그만이었음. 주방용품도 비치되어 있어서 따로 준비해 간 취사도구를 사용할 필요가 없었음. 굿~

Super rapport qualité-prix. Chambres vraiment spacieuses et calmes. Petit déjeuner trés correct. Nous recommendons vivement !

Appartement hotel sans aucun équipement (aucune vaisselle, micro-onde en panne...) Les codes communiqués pour accès internet ne fonctionnent pas ... Abords non éclairés de nuit, boueux.... En revanche, chambre très agréable, bien meublée, confortable, propre et spacieuse.

ロワール城巡りの拠点として１泊しました。アンボワーズ城から５kmほどの距離で，自動車であればすぐに行ける場所にありました。家族６人で宿泊したのですが，部屋は２階建ての２ベッドルーム＋ソファーベッドで，滞在するのに十分なスペースがありました。家具も充実しており，長期滞在するにもとてもよい施設であると思います。

Accueil très satisfaisant et prise en compte de nos réclamations OK. Nous avons eu un 1er appart pas très propre et avec un voisinnage très bruyant (chien aboyant pendant des heures dans l'appart à côté), plus tapis non propre et odeur de chien dans l'appartement. On nous a changé rapidement d'appartement. Il y a une impression de non fini pour les […] abords de l'hôtel et pas bien éclairé la nuit. Toutefois, c'est un bon rapport qualité prix pour visiter les châteaux aux alentours. Mehr

mieux qu un hotel car se sont des appartements avec cuisine, tres spacieux et tout neufs.Et les petits dej sont gratuits pour les enfants.Cela revient a 24euros a quatre soit 6 euos qui est un prix tres competif et il est tres copieux .Si vous faites les chateaux de la loire en famille je vous recommande cet hotel .

Tres bon accueil, Appartements spacieux

Ce sont des apparts ( type studio, F1...) Très propre et tout neuf. Nous étions surclassés et avions un magnifique studio. Service à l'accueil impeccable. L'environ est moyen ( c'est un champs tout autour ). Ceci dit, le centre ville d'Amboise est à peine 10mn en voiture. Nous y retournerons volontier. Krys

Au lieu de louer deux chambres dans un hotel classique, quand on a une famille à trois enfant, la suite de meteor val de loire resort est une excellente alternative. En effet, il s'agit d'une maison avec étage, d'une superficie de 100 m² au moins. Comparable aux locations de vacances, mais avec le plus d'un vrai hotel : le ménage est fait quotidiennement […] sans frais supplémentaire. Il s'agit de construction neuve. RdC équipe de salle à manger, de salon, cuisine américaine (micro-onde, plaques électriques, refirgerateur, lave-vaisselle), WC, TV. 1è étage avec deux chambres (1 grand lit, 2 petits lits), une salle de bain, TV, WC, balcon. Excellent sous tous les rapports. Séjour un peu triste car loin de la ville (Auto indispensable), mais parfait pour rayonner dans toute la région.

Chambre très calme, pas de bruit environnant = parfait.

Notre séjour à l'hôtel s'est très bien passé, on a été surpris par le design des chambres, le confort, c'était très agréable! Petits moins : la télé ne fonctionnait pas, et c'est dommage qu"on puisse pas accéder à la maison par la voiture, car on était quand même assez loin de la réception.. En tout cas on y retournera à l'occasion!

Es un hotel con buena ubicación para visitar el valle del Loira, perfecto para familias. Se debe llevar el menaje si se pretende realizar alguna comida en el apartamento por nuestra cuenta. Muy recomendable.

Au retour de 15 jours dans les Landes, nous avons grandement apprécié notre étape de 5 jours dans cet hotel très bien situé près d'Amboise; le rayonnement sur les châteaux alentours fut idéal! La suite réservée sur Hotel.com était effectivement "de luxe", car très spacieuse, très bien équipée ( 2 télés, 2 salons, 2 wc, mobiliers et déco design...) et […] l'accueil et la restauration tout à fait à la hauteur. Un petit bémol, car cette résidence hotelière est encore en devenir et les extérieurs immenses sont assez désertiques et manquent un peu de glamour... Petit manque d'entretien technique aussi ( robinet flottant, pomme de douche mal fiée...) ceci probablement du aussi à la grande taille de l'établissement. Mehr

CHAMBRE PAS TRES PROPORE AU NIVEAU DU SOL, PLUS AUCUN LUSTRE OU APPLIQUE MURALS DANS AUCUNE PIECES!!! Troisieme fois que nous allons dans cette hotel que nous apprecions mais la franchement deçue! DOMMAGE ne vaut plus un trois etoile

Las junior suite son fantasticas, amplias, con una cama comoda y cocina. La pega es que no disponen de accesorios para cocinar por lo tanto... los tienes que traer tu! (platos, vasos, SARTENES!) es una pena para tan buen hotel.

Questo recente resort e' situato appena fuori da Amboise, per cui e' indispensabile un mezzo per gli spostamenti. Molto spazioso sia negli ambienti comuni che nel giardino (e' dotato anche di piscina) ma proprio per questo, puo' risultare scomodo per il trasporto bagagli all'appartamento. Anche la formula hotel prevede il soggiorno in appartamento, […] ma viene svuotato di tutti gli accessori della cucina e la pulizia della camera consiste solo nel cambio asciugamani quotidiano, se si desidera. Ha pero' il vantaggio di essere un alloggio spazioso e molto grazioso. Mehr

Hôtel tous neuf, propre et service impeccable, seul bémol le parking un peu éloigné des chambres si on a beaucoup de bagages ou si on du mal à marcher.

c'est un peu sportif d'atteindre la chambre il faisait très beau ce jour là mais en cas de pluie et de tempête!!!!..... les souhaits: des chemins mieux stabilises pour les valises et les talons hauts des parkings dans chaque coin du parc ne nuiraient pas au cadre reposant de l'établissement je plaints les famille avec bébé et poussette Pour nous, c'est […] à recommander, et le petit déjeûner était parfait : produits de qualité Mehr

el complejo meteor estan muy bien equipadas las habitaciones, pero creo que se han quedado a medias en las instalaciones del recinto, muy sencillo nada de sombra hace mucho calor y las habitaciones no tienen aire acondicionado solo radiadores de calor.
