Gutes Hotel, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wallstreet , am südlichsten Ende des Broadway. Sehr nette Bedienung. Enges aber sauberes Zimmer mit zwei Kingsize-Betten.

Großes Zimmer, gute Betten. Bei Zimmern nach hinten raus kann man bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Internet fürs Zimmer zu teuer. Im Bad leichter Renovierungsstau. Frühstück im Hotelrestaurant empfehlenswert, sehr nette Bedienung. Infostand für Sightseeing im Hotel sehr gut. Karten tlw. kostenfrei. Mexik. Pub +Chinarestaurant ca. 200 m entfernt. U-Bahn ca. 400m weg.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber, zweckmäßig und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. In direkter Nähe befinden sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Stock Exchange, 9/11 Memorial, Trinity Church) und man erreicht 3 verschiedene Subway-Stationen innerhalb weniger Gehminuten. Außerdem die Fähre nach LongIsland bzw. den Anleger für die Boote zur Freiheitsstatue und Elis Island. Da an der Wallstreet Abends/ Nachts nicht ganz so viel los ist, kann man - für NYC-Verhältnisse - relativ ruhig schlafen, v.a. im Vergleich mit der Gegend rund um den TimesSquare usw. Ein kleines, aber feines, familiengeführtes (so schien es) Hotel, dass wir auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen würden!

"Sehr günstige und zentrale Lage"
Im großen und ganzen kann man das Hotel weiterempfehlen. Das Zimmer war allerdings nicht sehr sauber, besonders der dunkle Teppich. Außerdem funktionierte die Heizung nicht, was aber am nächsten Tag behoben wurde. Die Größe des Zimmers war für New Yorker Verhältnisse gut. Das Frühstück kann man sich getrost sparen, trockenes Brot von Papptellern ist […] nicht wirklich ein guter Start in den Tag. Die Betten und das Bad waren in Ordnung und sauber. Sehr sauberes Hotel, Zimmer etwas klein aber ausreichend mit bequemes Bett. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbüffet, freundlicher Service. U-Bahneingang fast direkt vor dem Hotel, Empire State Building und Macy`s gleich um die Ecke.

"Uns hat es gefallen"
Familie (2 Kinder) hat die Nähe zum Times Square und Marcy's gefallen, der Weg zum Hop ON Hop OFF Bus von Greys war etwas weit ansonsten hatten wir sehr schöne Tage im Hotel (mit Blick aufs ESB)
"Perfektes Hotel!!!"
Das Hotel hat ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Ich bin selbst sehr pingelig was Sauberkeit angeht und in diesem Hotel war alles super sauber, das Zimmer war schön gross (wir hatten ein KingSize Bett und waren zu 2.), der Service war super, das kostenlose Frühstück haben wir leider verpasst, da wir noch etwas länger als 10 Uhr schlafen wollten, aber […] dafür gab es an der Rezeption einen Frühstücks-Bag mit einem Apfel, nem Müsliriegel, einer kleinen Flasche Wasser und einem Muffin! Sowas ist wirklich selten und die Angestellten waren auch alle super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Lage ist natürlich unübertroffen!!! Gleich um die Ecke ist die U-Bahn Station, das Empire State Building und der Times Square! Wir fandes es dort perfekt! Kann man nur weiterempfehlen!!!!! Top! Mehr

Das Hotel liegt in jeder Hinsicht für Manhatten phantastisch. Subway vor dem Hotel, alle Theater zu Fuß erreichbar, Presi-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Frühstück ist nur, um das Hotel nicht mit leerem Magen verlassen zu müsen...

"Im Zentrum Manattans"
Das Hotel liegt im Herzen NYCs: Zwischen Empire State Building und Broadway. Der Service ist sehr gut, die Angestellten freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut ausgestattet, die Zimmer (z.T. mit Blick auf das Empire State Building) sind sauber und bequem. Jederzeit wieder!
"Super Lage"
Das Hotel Hampton Inn liegt direkt am Herald Square gegenüber vom Kaufhaus Macy's. Die zentrale Lage war uns am meisten wert, man konnte von den ganzen Sehenswürdigkeiten immer schnell wieder ins Hotel, ein wenig die Füße hochlegen, oder mal Einkaufstüten wegbringen :-). Die U-Bahn-Station ist gleich um die Ecke. Da wir im Dezember 2010 gereist sind, […] war die Lage wichtig für uns, der Blizzard und das anschließende Tauwetter machten alles etwas beschwerlich. Die Hotelmitarbeiter waren jederzeit auf Zack und haben sich sofort um Kleinigkeiten gekümmert, einmal ging unser Fernseher nicht, da kam sofort jemand, noch bevor ich mit dem Fahrstuhl oben war. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 20. Stock mit Blick auf das Empire State Building. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich es nochmal buchen würde mit 4 Personen in einem Zimmer, die Betten waren zu klein und das Zimmer zu eng, wir wussen nicht, wohin mit den Koffern. Auch störte uns die Heizung, die nicht permanent warm war, sondern in Abständen mit Getöse warme Luft ins Zimmer bließ, das war in der Nacht zu laut. Im Frühstückssaal gab es nur wenige Plätze im Warmen, in dem Hauptraum (schlecht isolierter Pavillonanbau) war es eisekalt morgens. Das Frühstück fanden wir alle 4 nicht so toll, krümeliges Rührei (wahrscheinlich mit Pulver angemixt) aus dem Backofen, Speck dazu nur 1-mal in der Woche, ein paar Bagels, Toast, Waffeln zum Selberbacken, Konfitüre, Sirup, Cerealien, Plastikgeschirr, trotzdem war es gut, schon ab 06.00 h einen Kaffee und frischen Obstsalat zu bekommen, da Starbucks etc. häufig erst ab 10.00 h aufmachten und wir immer viel zu früh wach waren. Für den Aufenthalt empfehlen wir, einen New York Pass zu kaufen, der hat sich für uns echt gelohnt - wir mussten bis auf Empire nirgendwo am Ticketschalter anstehen - und die Schlangen waren lang. "Immer wieder gerne"
Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend. Eine Metrostation ist fast vor der Tür. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr groß, aber völlig ausreichend für Städtereisende (man ist ja sowieso den ganzen Tag unterwegs). Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist gut, das Bad für New Yorker Verhältnisse schon komfortabel. Die Betten waren super bequem. Sehr angenehm war, […] daß es im Hotel Frühstück gibt ( und das war lecker). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ( Danke an Marialeza und ihre Kollegen).Wir haben schon zwei andere Hotels in New York in den Jahren zuvor erlebt, aber das Hampton Inn war mit großem Abstand das Beste. Jederzeit wieder gerne.Wem es hier nicht paßt, der muß wahrscheinlich ins Waldorf-Astoria. Wir waren jedenfalls sehr zufrieden und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war hervorragend. Mehr

"Gerne Wieder!"
Hotel liegt zentral in New York City, die Umgebung ist auch sehr schön, Subway station direkt vor dem Hotel, sowie Supermarkt und Geschäfte. Sehr nah an Penn Station und Empire State Building. Falls man fragen zur Stadt hatte oder Wegbeschreibungen brauchte, wurde gerne Auskunft gegeben. Frühstück war auch in Ordnung und man konnte sich den ganzen Tag […] Getränke (wasser und Saft) holen, soviel wie man wollte. Wir haben schon lange nicht mehr so ein sauberes Hotel gesehn. great location. Rooms were very clean though typically "city small". Every staff person I encountered was polite and engaging. Very noticeable and made a difference. Breakfast was included and was the usual Hampton Inn fare of hot and cold options. We'd stay there again.
One of the cleanest bathrooms for a NY hotel. Means alot to me as I like to take baths.

Clean and convenient to Port Authority , MSG , walk to St.Pats . restaurants, Herald Square. Great view of Empire State Building. Will stay there again soon. Staff was very pleasant and professional. Immediate assistance. very satisfied.

The hotel was nice, however the elevator situation was horrendous. We were on the 14th floor and had to wait, often times, to take the elevator down. The hotel has two elevators but they were so crowded you had to wait for a less crowded one.

Even though the hotel was doing remodeling, the staff did their best to make our stay pleasant. The breakfast room had lots of room and a good variety of food. The room was a bit small but comfortable. The only problem was that the wi-fi wasn't working well, but that probably related to the renovations that were taking place in the reception area. "Hampton Inn New York--35th street"
This hotel is centrally located and near subway lines to get anywhere in Manhattan easily. The Inn was under construction in the lobby when we were there, but otherwise the experience was nothing but good. The personnel was excellent.
This hotel is very close to the customer we want to visit in the New York City, abd it is really very convenient.

This was a great little hotel in a brilliant location. The rooms were very comfy and surprisingly spacious with an unreal view of the Empire State Building. All the staff were friendly and helpful..we'd defo stay here again

The hotel was under renovation but the staff were very friendly and customer oriented. Room was better than I expected. Hotel was within walking distance to most points of interest. Subway station right outside the door.

Room small, but clean and very conveniently located. My favorite thing about this hotel was the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. I left my prescription eye glasses (expensive) in the room and did not realize it until I arrived at the airport. My stay at this hotel was wonderful. The room was great, location was so very convienant, breakfast was delicious and included, the staff were phenomenal, and the cleanliness was on point. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice when we asked for the complimentary toothpaste,razors, & shaving cream. There was nothing unproffesional […] about this hotel. "It's in a great spot"
This hotel is in an excellent location. Extremely close to all the downtown tourist locations, but off the main drag enough to not be too noisy. My only complaint was their super slow elevators - it took 5-10 minutes to get one on the 12tf floor everytime. But when you're on Vacation you have time to burn! :)

so the hotel over all was great the halls leading to the rooms are small lol but in all. the rooms were nice fun times. I realy recommend this hotel especially since the subway / empire state building / and time square. are close by
"Great for Garden events"
one night stay for a rangers game. 5 min walk to the garden. the staff was great, the room clean and breakfast was fantastic. parking was close (one block away on 36th) and was reasonable. subway locations just outside the front door also. will definately stay there again.

The location is great -2 blocks away from the Empire State Building. But the comforters were lumpy -like when someone washes polyester comforter and ends up with big lumps all over the place. Wonderful hotel in Manhattan within walking distance to major attractions. Room was very clean, breakfast was delicious, front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Parking was around the corner & easy to find. We enjoyed our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great location. Close to Maceys and good walking distance to Broadway and Times Square. Small room but perfectly adequate. Excellent and helpful staff on the front desk. Nothing was too much trouble!

Honestly you can't beat the service this staff gives to its guest. It's like coming home when you arrive. They make sure all your needs are met and you will feel like you're speaking with old friends upon check in. The hotel is in the middle of it all. Location is excellent. It's easy to walk to Times Square Area or Fifth Avenue shopping. I was there while the hotel was under construction and there was a lot of chaos as they continued to operate. It's a very busy hotel and very busy lobby area. The breakfast is good quality with lots of options, but the crowding makes it a challenge. Fitness room […] is very good and not busy. The elevators are the biggest challenge as you seem to have to wait a long time. Mehr

I rented three rooms here for one night. For the money, they weren't bad. They had everything you need and they were clean. My only complaint would be the smell of the room I stayed in on the 11th floor. They were painting the stairwells and the paint fumes pretty much permeated the entire floor. It was pretty strong and not pleasant at all. The smell […] stuck around for out entire stay. If you're a little sensitive to smells, this might keep you awake like it did me. Breakfast was okay, too. They had a pretty good spread of food - eggs, waffles, fruit... The set-up was a disaster, though. It was poorly organized and seating was very limited. I think they were doing some renovations to the dining room, though, so that might have only been a temporary problem. Overall, it wasn't too bad. For what I paid, it was a good deal. Mehr

This is a tired hotel undergoing renovations. The workmen started at 6 am and their pounding woke me up. Coffee was lukewarm, breakfast was very sparse and dining room undergoing renovations. Rom was clean, but there are much better values in the area for same or less.

Good central location. Nice variety of breakfast foods in the AM. WIFI in our corner room on the 12th floor was a bit spotty and weak. Only wished this hotel had laundry facilities available.

The hotel is definitely worth it. It's very reasonably priced. The hotel is rather comfortable with a great view of the empire state building. The hotel offers a complementary breakfast (which I never made it too.) and also they have fresh complementary tea and coffee brewing. The staff is very courteous and kind. The rooms are very well maintained.Overall […] the hotel actually enhanced my trip to NY. It is very convieniently located near the shopping district. Also taxi's are constantly in front of the hotel so its easy to access a cab. The only complaint I have is the elevator. Its a very fast moving elevator with a very abrupt stop going up and down.
