We give this a top rating because everything we encountered was top drawer. Two minor observations that could use improvement aren't really worth noting, because everything else was so superb. One is that mattresses could be updated - these were a bit uncomfortable after several nights, and the other was that the tortilla soup was not like soup at all, […] but a thick purée. However, having said that, it was ordered at 9:30 pm after a long journey, and the restaurant closes at 11:00, and the flavor was still wonderful. The staff was cordial and very helpful, when we return to Austin, we will be staying there. Mehr

Great hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. It was so nice to be right at the UT campus but a nice walk or short cab ride to so many fabulous places to visit in Austin!

Booked a room during freshman orientation. The location was very convenient, and was able to walk to most destinations.

Very comfortable , and great for meetings on campus. Food quality excellent. Big problems with television reception and with AT&T on the name of the hotel it was rather ironic.

The AT&T Hotel is a great place to stay if you don't require darkness in your room to sleep. The blinking lights of the Uverse, Modem and the smoke detector provided constant distracting activity. The hotel should especially look at how the smoke detector keeps flashing green repeatedly right over the bed.

Staff were great - particularly Brooke at front desk. Hotel very clean / fresh. Only issue- leftovers from room service ( dirty plate and glasses) from room across the hall stayed outside the room for almost 3 days before being removed, despite the rooms being cleaned...

The hotel is very clean, neat, tidy and attractive.. The one and only complaint is that there is very little in the way of sound insulation between rooms, and to the street. It was surprising given the ambiance of the hotel. If you have business at or anywhere near UT, this is the place to stay. Still a nice place to stay, but expensive. Our TV remote did not work properly, and the On Demand feature had been discontinued. The parking garage is an accident waiting to happen. In spite of all this, we still stay here on occasion because of the location.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness and size of the room. the beds were comfortable and the staff was wonderful. Last year we booked at Driskell Hotel, but enjoyed the stay at AT&T this year much more! Thanks again!!

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was a little on the small size. The bed was comfortbale, however, the pillows were rather hard and uncomfortable. Hotel location is great for staying on campus and visiting son - who is a UT student.

When in Austin on business, I often stay at the AT&T Conference Center. It is a very well managed facility and the accommodations are very pleasant and very quiet, which is important to me after a long day of work away from home. The hotel is also reasonably priced for Austin and I enjoy visiting with the university students that often staff the hospitality […] positions! My only problem with this stay was that I was in an interior courtyard room and the thermostat for the heating appeared to be not working correctly. The room was exceedingly warm and stuffy. I set the thermostat in the low 60's but it was still quite warm. This is the first problem I have had with this hotel and I will return for another visit. Mehr

The stay was comfortable, but it was a little difficult to navigate from parking to room and vice versa.

We had a room with a murphy queen bed. The bed pulled out of the wall . The adjoining room that shared the same wall was extremely loud. My wife and I could hear clearly conversations going on in the adjoining room. I would not choose that type of room again based on our experience

This hotel was great. The staff was friendly, the room was simply beautiful, and the location was so convenient. The only potential complaint is that the bath towels were a little rough.

I visited at the time when it was slow, so we got a lot of attention and service. Only complaint was the wait at the valet area, otherwise, I would stay for future visits to Austin.

I have stayed in this hotel several times and each time the service, room and comfort have been wonderful. Spacious room with very comfortable beds and pillows, nice views..some with a perfect view of the UT tower. The bathrooms, while very nice, are a little small. But, they are nicely appointed. One of my personal favorite things is the lighted, magnifying […] makeup mirror and hair dryer that is not adhered to the wall. You can take these extra conveniences and use them where you choose in the room. Very nice! The only drawback is the valet parking - at $22 per day I would expect better service. Often they are no where to be found. I have had to wait very long for my car - whether they are busy or not. I don't know if they need more staff here or what, but it is the one frustrating part of our stay every time. Mehr
