The Four Seasons does an excellent job overall. Although is I were to get picky I would say the restaurant (Art) needs work. We ate there three times, but each time we were slightly underwhelmed. The service staff is quirky, and the food just lacks a bit. It really just seems a bit uninspired, as if a good chef has been cooking the same things for too […] long. It just lacks little things a little seasoning here, a little overdone there etc. Its fine in a pinch but for the price there are far better options in Seattle. The FS Seattle is located next door to the Pike Place Market. It has easy access to the freeways and most rooms have great views of Puget Sound. The service is top notch and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Great choice for business travelers.

The room was suppose to be a city view and we got view to the pool/shrubs around the pool. So not really a view. The toilet in our room would not flush the next morning without sticking your hand in the tank to pull on the chain.

From check-in to check-out, the service at the Four Seasons was superb. Any hotel that will hand me a bottle of water as I walk in the front door from a run is "A OK" to me. The room was a real treat. Beautifully appointed, spacious — we loved every minute being there.

We visit Seattle for both pleasure and business four to six times annually but this is the first time we have stayed at the Four Seasons. The lobby and public spaces are pleasantly modern and inviting. Our room was very nicely set out with a top-notch bathroom with a spacious separate shower and a bathtub of massive proportions (I had to vault in and […] out!). It was good in terms of sound-proofing both from outside and other rooms (mind you, we were not facing out onto the city but rather oriented towards the lovely pool/jacuzzi/fire cauldron area and the water views. Excellent work desk set up and lots of storage too. Having said that, some things could stand improvement. 1) No excuse for not having some kind of coffee pod system in the room. 2) Our AC controls were disabled and the heat range was preset (too high). In fairness, this was rectified and set to a lower and more comfortable temp. as soon as I complained but when you have all fixed windows (none opening) it should be contrary to a Geneva convention not to have working temp. controls in individual rooms. 3) ART restaurant needs to take their food up several notches. We had lunch there one day and, quite frankly, in a "foodie" city like Seattle there is no excuse for the very sub-par meal we were served. But this is easily solved by simply walking out the door which most of the guests - not surprisingly - seemed to do and choosing from the plethora of very good restaurants nearby. Mehr

Expected a high quality of service and got it. Concierge was prompt and helpful to secure a dinner reservation on a busy Saturday night. Expected a more comfortable bed: ours was soft resulting in rolling towards the center. Upon check-in the receptionist said it would be 2 queen beds, but they were double and too small for 2 people to share. Also called […] ahead to request synthetic pillows, but they were forgotten... Disappointing. It was also unclear if coffee would be available in rooms, and I was surprised to find there was no coffee maker... this is Seattle, after all!! And the cost of parking wasn't available on the hotel website, which was unusual. It was a very nice hotel. Loved the location, but it also felt a "off the beaten path" and not too busy. Both my wife and I were extremely pleased to find the accomodations and the friendly staff at their very best. I had a scheduled business meeting so my wife and I decided to visit Seattle early and enjoy the sights and sounds to the city. The staff of the Four Seasons were friendly, respectful and not over bearing. Steps away from Pike Place Market, awesome shopping in downtown Seattle, outdoor saltwater pool overlooking the Puget Sound with a firepit, super comfy bed.....BUT....our room faced 1st Ave and the sound of the traffic was horrible!!! Be sure to spend the extra money and stay facing the water.

We were really spoiled here! It was our 20th anniversary and the staff somehow knew our names and greeted us when we were in the lobby or entering the hotel after going to the fabulous Pike's Market which was very close by. Our room was elegant and we felt very pampered. Also, the Museum is across the street and has a wonderful exhibit of Aborigine […] art. What's not to like???? Mehr

I've spend many time in 4season hotels all over. This one wasn't as luxurious as the other(in Denver, Boston and DC) The bed was comfortable. The staff was very helpful and nice. however it looked very simple and the corridor had a strange smell. The resturant was the biggest disappointment . Quality of food and drinks wasn't even close th the standard […] we are familiar . The vegetables were cold and in the martini you could smell the egg. One positive thing i should mention is that the head of the resturant did listen to us and treat us with seariously. I'm sure they will do all they can to correct the mistakes. Only negative was that we purchased a corner with a harbor view but on the 6th floor the view was blocked by smokestacks and chimneys in front of the hotel. In my opinion they should discount that room because of this.

Stayed at the Four Seasons Seattle with my eight year old son to visit Seattle for the first time. Everything from the hand-written welcome, incredible concierge services (for everything from tough restaurant reservations, sea plane tour recommendations to sending us complimentary dessert while visiting the Space Needle) -- their attention to detail […] with a smile made for an incredible week in Seattle. They were also very welcoming of kids with a child sized bath robe, stuffed monkey and a welcome treat with a document outlining everything for kids to do in Seattle. I know it is the Four Seasons and some may say, well what were you expecting? However, it was still above and beyond in my book. My son at one point asked me if we could move in (they do have private residences in the hotel)! Thanks for a great week! I look forward to a return trip. Mehr

Everything was top notch. Only two minor issues with the room. The room only had one a/c vent. Not located real well. Sleeping area got too warm while rest of the room was cold. Tv screen would freeze periodically. Definitely would stay again.

We arrived early Saturday morning at the hotel and were warmly greeted. We were fortunate to have early check-in that morning. The staff and accommodations were excellent throughout our stay.

We enjoyed the usual "Four Seasons" level of service from friendly, attentive employees. The decor of the hotel is very contemporary, with little use of color. The hallway on our floor gave us the feeling we were in a hospital. If you like contemporary, this is for you. If not, I'd look around a bit for something with a warmer feeling.

This hotel was everything that the Four Seasons Chain stands for...elegance, comfort and pampering. The only draw back that we found was, in our downtown facing room, sometimes the street noise from trucks in the night, filtered in to our room. My husband and I chose this hotel initially for its proximity to Pike Place Market and we weren't disappointed. The staff were polite, helpful and efficient and although we didn't make use of the hotel crib for our one year old, he did enjoy the snacks and complimentary husky toy we found in our room. Although we didn't use the gym or outdoor rooftop […] pool, they looked great - maybe next time. My only slight reservation was the costly breakfast. i have stayed at the majority of Seattle downtown hotels and, although the Four Seasons is definitely the most expensive, it is definitely worth it. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated with beautiful woodwork, original art, huge flat screen tv, luxurious bed, plenty of closet space and the bathroom is phenomenal with a large soaking tub, separate […] shower with two shower heads, large vanity and in the mirror television set. The bar and restaurant has a view of Elliott bay and the fourth floor outdoor vanishing pool and gym are only topped by the view as well. They have a town car available for guests, and don't miss Fran's Chocoloates off the lobby. We will definitely splurge again. Mehr

Fabulous hotel, with amazing views! The only problem we had was noise from the street at night. I think "cruising" starts around midnight.... I would stay at this hotel again, but on the side with the water view.

Large luxurious room with all of the amenities and accomodating staff you would expect. Great location, literally across the street from the famous Pike Place Market including Pike Brewery and stair steps away from the waterfront district in the center of all the most desirable public pier activities. Main issue was that on check-in, my reservation through Hotels.com didn't show up on the FS reservation system. It took 15 minutes to relove this, which on a tight schedule was unsatisfactory.

I opened the lobby doors myself only once! The staff was always present, friendly and helpful, the room was beautifully decorated in a sleek, contemporary style, very comfortable beds, the pool was a little small but gorgeous. My seven year old was thrilled when there were a couple special surprises welcoming him into the room. We only had one meal […] in the hotel, a very nice dinner. Close to lots of things to do and see. I would have liked a little extra room in the mini-bar but that's a small complaint.
