Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Komfortable großzügige Zimmer, unseres mit komplett eingerichteter Küche. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit Obst, Joghurt, Müsli etc. Minishop und ebenfalls ein kleiner Starbucks sind auch im Hotel vorhanden. Die Lage ist der einzige Minuspunkt für uns gewesen, da sehr weit vom Innenstadtbereich entfernt (zu Fuß ca. 25 Minuten). Ebenfalls direkt an der Interstate gelegen, somit 24 Stunden die Autos zu hören.

Die Vorzüge des Hotels sind eindeutig: 1.) Die ausgezeichnete Lage für Reisende die möglichst schnell (ca. 200 m zu Fuß) vom Hotel bis zu Check-In Schalter kommen möchten. Wegen der Kürze des Weges geht das sogar zu Fuß bei Regen ohne Schirm! 2.) Die unmittelbare Nähe (ca. 250 m) zum LightRail Link zwischen Flughafen und Seattle Downtown, wobei die Tageskarte ca. 5$ kostet. Fahrtzeit ca. 35 Minuten. Ansonsten war das Hotel älter in der Ausstattung (ungefähr 70er Jahre Bauzeit) mit einigen Upgrades (z.B. zwei neue Flachbildschirme). Das Standard-Zimmer (Bad, Schlafzimmer, Auftenhaltsraum) war sauber. Die Lounch und der Frühstücksbereich des Hotels gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hingegen nur Durchschnitt, so daß man eher in Seattle Downtown frühstücken möchte. Der sehr Nahe gelegene Flughafen bietet diesbezüglich auch nur wenig an. Einzige Kritikpunkte meines Zimmers auf der Seite zum Flughafen war der laute Straßenverkehr des 'Internationl Boulevard' for dem Hotel (der Fluglärm hingegen war gut erträglich). Und die Klimaanlage, welche in Seattle aber selten nötig wäre, wenn man das Fenster öffenen könnte. Das ging zwar mechanisch problemlos, aber bei dem Straßenverkehr-Krach ... Ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen. In der Summe war es rund.

Dieses Hotel ist auf Familien mit Kindern bestens eingestellt. Four Seasons Hotel Seattle liegt mitten in Seattle. Nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt befinden sich: Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Aquarium und Pike Place Market. Westlake Center und Pacific Place befinden sich ebenfalls in der Nähe.

Die Innenstadt von Seattle erstreckt sich entlang des Puget Sound vom historischen Pioneer Square im Süden bis zum schicken Belltown im Norden. Dazwischen reihen sich Bürogebäude, Einkaufsgalerien und Apartments in Backsteinhäusern an den grünen Boulevards aneinander. Hier befinden sich das Kongresszentrum und Pike Place Market, wo Lachse fliegen können. Gäste sollten auch unbedingt die futuristische öffentliche Hauptbibliothek besuchen. Die Zwillingsstadien Seattles und der International District liegen südlich von der Innenstadt.

This brand-new hotel had the impeccable service I expect from the Four Seasons. The food at the ART cafe was gorgeously presented and beautifully prepared. The staff was exceptional and the location could not be better.

We enjoyed the usual "Four Seasons" level of service from friendly, attentive employees. The decor of the hotel is very contemporary, with little use of color. The hallway on our floor gave us the feeling we were in a hospital. If you like contemporary, this is for you. If not, I'd look around a bit for something with a warmer feeling.

Fabulous hotel, with amazing views! The only problem we had was noise from the street at night. I think "cruising" starts around midnight.... I would stay at this hotel again, but on the side with the water view.

Great location, literally across the street from the famous Pike Place Market including Pike Brewery and stair steps away from the waterfront district in the center of all the most desirable public pier activities. Main issue was that on check-in, my reservation through Hotels.com didn't show up on the FS reservation system. It took 15 minutes to relove this, which on a tight schedule was unsatisfactory.

I opened the lobby doors myself only once! The staff was always present, friendly and helpful, the room was beautifully decorated in a sleek, contemporary style, very comfortable beds, the pool was a little small but gorgeous. My seven year old was thrilled when there were a couple special surprises welcoming him into the room. We only had one meal […] in the hotel, a very nice dinner. Close to lots of things to do and see. I would have liked a little extra room in the mini-bar but that's a small complaint. Deserves to be a 10 star hotel. Great service, location, room. The concierge was so helpful. Even when we called a week before we got there, they helped us plan our trip to the Seattle area. The location couldn't be better -- minutes walk to Pikes Market & the Waterfront. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I am one who is very sensitive to odors and from the moment I walked into the hotel room, I was very pleased at the design, beds, bathrooms and smell! Everything was fantastic!!! We told the receptionist we were there for our anniversary and they surprised us with complimentary champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries!!! The fitness center overlooks […] the bay and has an amazing view. Everyone at the hotel was so polite and friendly! Customer service was superb!! Our in-room dining service also exceeded my expectations...they delivered right on time when they said they would, the meal from ART restaurant at the hotel was amazing and I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed it! I found a better deal at another nice hotel in Seattle and thought I would give it a shot, what a mistake. All I could think about was why didn't I just book the Four Seasons. Anyway, the next day we left the other hotel and went to the Four Seasons. My Wife was sooo happy, and it changed our whole trip for the better. We were very pleased by essentially every aspect of the hotel and its staff. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and relaxing. The gym was very nice although it was on a smaller side. It's unfortunate that we were there during the winter so we couldn't make use of the outdoor pool and jacuzzi area.

When the spa made a mistake and scheduled my pedicure on the wrong day, the manager insisted on treating us to lunch in the hotel restaurant. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. "Four Seasons in Seattle - AMAZING"
This hotel was by far the best hotel in Seattle we could have possibly stayed at. Not only were they extremely kind and accommodating, but the location was PERFECT. Close to the waterfront a just blocks away from Harbor Steps, a block away from Pike's Place, 2 blocks away from the light rail, and walking distance to Pioneer Square. The bed was one of […] the most comfortable, if not the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. The TV was large, and I loved the bathroom TV embedded in the mirror. Dennis, the assistant manager sent a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely stay at again if we're in the area! Mehr

From the minute we arrived, we were treated like royalty at the Four Seasons in Seattle. They were able to get us in our room 6 hours earlier than check-in time, which was extremely helpful since we had just completed a week-long Alaskan cruise. You can't beat the location, just blocks from Pike's Market and the Aquarium area, and a stone's throw from […] most everything else in the downtown area. "Hard to beat the quality of a Four Seasons hotel"
Great location, staff and amenities. While possessing a small pool it was a great relief during a hot spell in Seattle. Attentive staff and the usual Four Season touches made for 2 lovely afternoons pool side. Close the the Pike Place Market , the Seattle Art museum and waterfront the location can't be beat.

I've visited plenty of hotels/resorts but the Four Seasons has raised the bar. Hotels always try and provide amenities, discounts and even comfy beds but rarely do you find a hotel that makes you feel welcomed. The Four Seasons made me feel like I was at home, they provided me with comfort in all possible ways. Don't get me wrong, they provided the […] ooohs and ahhhs but feeling 100% comfort is the most important thing. I look forward to my next visit to Seattle and my next visit to the Four Seasons Hotel. Upon entering the Hotel, my first thought was "ugh, ultra modern" but after 4 days of sheer bliss, I cannot say enough goods things about this hotel. The staff went out of their way to make sure every request was met. The small pool area was crowded, but then again, it was 90 degrees outside, a rarity in Seattle. The location was next to Pikes Market […] and within walking distance to all the major stores. Great dinning nearby and light rail to airport 2 blocks away. Also Ferry's were close by. The hotel pool is awesome. It makes you feel like you are sitting on the edge of Puget Sound! Everyone was extra friendly, and the room was comfy and quiet. Excellent hotel!

Although I stayed here on a special reward, I loved the hotel in every way. I would welcome the opportunity to stay there again. No complaints at all except that the room was not ready when we arrived at about 2:00 p.m. and we had to wait until about 3:15. Outstanding view from the room with the most magnificent sunset imaginable.

Room was no plush like I expected. All electronics, bathroom faucets and shower were not people friendly. Even the hotel electronics expert had a hard time getting the CD player to work. It was a very stiff room. The worker bee people didn't know how to answer to you needs. No instructional materials about the hotel were made available in room. I had […] to go to front desk to ask for wine list and room service instruction. I wanted to use the pool one morning at 8am the front desk said it was open and it was not. This was the nicest hotel experience of my life. I was only there one night but everything was absolutely perfect. Staff, room, location, everything. I would recommend this hotel above any other.
