Could not ask for more

Found it to be cozy and clean and located within 4 minutes walk of the river walk. The room we stayed in, the davy crockett, was a tight fit, but did the job. Nice balcony, only suggestion, and I wouldn't mind a little cash appreciation for the idea...but retractable awning, sun was a burden in am

The staff were very friendly and open. Its been my first real Bed and Breakfast but I was still quite impressed having stayed at more well known locations such as the Hotel Indigo on the Riverwalk. Not only was the room spacious but the location was great for a quick walk onto the Riverwalk itself. Arbor House Inn and Suites in San Antonio, Texas was a very pleasant experience. Home-like atmosphere and convenient to everything downtown. Able to walk to river in a couple of minutes. Overall, would highly recommend.

It was very nice having breakfast dropped off to my room in a basket. The breakfast items were from Costco, a muffin and bagel. There was fruit in a dish and some other items also. The coffee in the room was Folgers and I am not a fan so did not drink it. I only had bkfst one morning due to early meetings and the food offered. Opening the drawer to […] get an extra pillow I found hair in the drawer, and the lights switches in the bathroom were dirty but otherwise loved the bed and room. I also would check since they made a copy of my license and credit card and did not shred it when I left which made me very uncomfortable since I don't know who could access my information. Mehr

No kidding - in 28 years of business travel, this is my FAVORITE stay, with NO CLOSE SECOND. I just wanted a place to stay near the convention center, I found a piece of history. Like being at grandma's house, you are not in a hotel, you are in a wonderful house, breakfast arrives at your door in a personalized basket at 8:30, coffee maker, ironing […] board, porch with sofa and chairs, and just CHARMING accomodations. Huge comfortable bed, separate front room, and wireless internet....STAY HERE even if you don't want to visit San Antonio...hahahaha....two blocks from the convention center, Riverwall, King James district...there is no reason to stay anywhere else, no they are not paying me to say this. If I come back to San Antone I will NEVER stay anywhere else. Mehr

This was one of the nicest experiences we have had. The room was very nice and although the manager said it was small, I personally thought the room was HUGE. I loved the clawfoot tub! They brought us a breakfast basket out side our door around 8:15 am and it was stuffed! Muffins, fruit cups (fresh), juice, and bagels. If you have a chance to stay here […] do it! For a weekend getaway, this was just what my wife and I wanted: close enough to the downtown attractions to allow walking everywhere, but far enough away to be quiet. Everything was just right, though I prefer a firmer mattress. Within walking distance to the Riverwalk- litterally 3-4 blocks. Parking for the Hotel is tight, but tolerable. The people that manage/own the hotel are very nice and very helpful. The Arbor House Suites Bed and Breakfast ended up being a delightful stay. We had small children with us and we thought that they were going to be upset without a pool, but […] they did not miss a pool at all and absolutely loved the hotel as well. If I could make a change for the Arbor House Suites Bed and Breakfast, I would upgrade the strength of the wireless internet and add eating areas to each room. The rooms have a microwave, refrigerator, access to ice, washer and dryer and they bring you a basket of muffins, bagels, fruit and cheese every morning. They have added a beautiful fountain outside with sitting areas and even a pit to barbeque on. I recommend the Arbor House Suites Bed and Breakfast for a great San Antonio stay for anyone. That is, if you can get in at all, because I think the word is already out about this place. Being affiliated with Hotels.com to me is a plus because I can book online and feel good/safe about my purchase and choice. Mehr

We really enjoyed our stay at the Arbor House in San Antonio. We had a very nice 2 room suite which included a coffeemaker, microwave and mini-fridge. It was very conveniently located to many of the major attractions, including The Alamo and the Riverwalk. Because of it's location, we were able to do without the expense of a rental car and walk everywhere. […] The owner, Ron, was very nice, friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved staying here! Ron, the owner, and Adolph, the manager, are gracious, friendly and helpful hosts. The facility is picturesque and immaculately maintained. There is a wonderful central courtyard that is perfect for a late night glass of wine, or just relaxing. Our suite consisted of a very large and tastefully furnished sitting room, […] bedroom and bath. We opted for a room with a deep clawfoot bath tub which conveyed a feeling of nostalgic opulence. Every morning Adolph would leave a Picnic basket containing our breakfast outside our door. The food was just right, consisting of a fruit cup, bagels, muffins and juice, along with butter and jam. More than enough for us. Even the coffee for the automatic coffee maker was perfect for us. Nice and strong, just the way we like it. Arbor House is within walking distance of everything you need to see in San Antonio. River Walk, the Alamo, Alamodome, downtown and the historic district are all easily accessible. Don't miss the historic district. So, a perfect B&B, gracious hosts, great location- what more could you ask for. Hotellet består egentligen av ett antal intilliggande villor, så varje hus och rum är unikt. Vi bodde i James Bowie sviten som består av ett vardagsrum led ett fönster som utgång till en stor balkong, och ett sovrum med en gigantisk säng.
