Admiral Hotel - Arlington

It was okay. Not worth the price at al!! And they don't serve breakfast. Very dissapointed. I do not recommend.

Our stay was comfortable, but not blown away. The restraunt downstairs is NOT very good though. Clean, nice staff, but the pool wasnt very clean. Overall, good value for what we paid and very close to our activities.

Nice indoor pool, heated, great getaway when its cold outside, entry door didn't work, they fixed right away. Smoking rooms and hall a little musty,but they are smoking rooms. We enjoyed it.

Second time staying here. I like the location. Close to attractions. We stayed here for the Cotton Bowl.

Super close to stadium and other attractions. Overall hotel is a lil dated but well maintainedand the staff was very helpful and nice. The indoor pool is the main reason we chose this place and it was great for our 3 year old girl. Will stay here again

Our family was very pleased with our stay. We thought that quality of the hotel compared to the price was excellent. The hotel was very close to Cowboy Stadium and Six Flags. The staff was very helpful and allowed us to check in about 4 hours early which was very nice.

We went down to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl, we were looking for a hotel close to the stadium. The hotel could use some updates but overall the hotel was confortable and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel offered shuttle service to the game and even though we were just a few minutes from Cowboy Stadium, the shuttel fee was […] worth the money, as parking around the stadium is ridculously priced. The hotel is conveniently located so we could have easily toured sites in the downtown Dallas area if we would have had more time. I recommend this hotel especially if you are going to Six Flags, a Rangers game, or a Cowboys game...you are less than 2 miles away from all of these. This hotel was one of the worst that I stayed in. They did not pick us up from the airport because they said they were not available. When we arrived via cab, the hiotel van was sitting in front of the hotel. The hotel also offered Christmas pictures with Santa at $5 a picture. We asked for 3 pics wth cards and were quoted at $15. They were paid for […] in advance because we were leaving the hotel to take my grandchildren to lunch. I only see them twice a year and the pictures were of them. We paid in advance and were told that we could pick them up when we got back. When we got back and went to pick up the pictures we were told that we could not because the incorrect price was quoted to us earlier. I could not speak to the older woman at the desk because she was rude and would not listen to me. I got my money back minus the pictures of my grandchildren. Also, they offered a heated pool but it was not heated due to the runoff from the pool outside. I will never stay in this hotel again. Maureen Mehr

beautiful hotel, was surprised by the indoor swimming pool, though we did not see a hot tub which would have been great since it was cold. The desk clerk was friendly and personable, the room comfortable and spacious. We thought the $10 cover charged for the "club" part of the restaurant was ridiculous, but there were a lot of people in there (you can […] hear/see the room from across the bar). we enjoyed our stay and the staff was very professional and helpful and extended our stay by a couple of hours, loved the hotel and will definetly stay their again!!

Chose hotel due to convenient location to Cowboy Stadium and low rates. Room on 1st floor was not very clean & outdated; bed also uncomfortable. Would ask for 2nd or 3rd floor - did not feel safe on 1st floor with children.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Admiral. The hotel itself is pretty good. Kind of like most. However, the indoor/outdoor pool is awesome. The Beef-O-Bradys in the lobby is a cool place to hang out with pretty good food. The best though is going to Cowboy & Ranger games. A free shuttle to and from the games is available for Ranger games and […] a $25 per person shuttle is available for Cowboy games, which is much less than having to park anywhere close and you don't have to deal with the traffic on your own and you have a DD ; ) It is also very convenient to Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor. The only problem was that we had dinner one night and did not notice that my wife left her coat in the restaurant and on the following day when we check out we were informed that no one in the hotel could open the door for my wife to get her coat. They indicated that they were no afilliated with the restaurant. I feel this is a very bad situation if […] should happen to others. Mehr

stay at hotel for 4 nights room had urine smell had to be move to another room because of a leak in the plumbing on 1st floor move to 2nd floor only to take a shower enter the room into the bathroom lying on the floor very much alive a big cockroach now i'm very displeased tried not to complain about the urine smell in the room had traveled over 1300 […] miles all i wanted was a good night sleep reported it to the desk don't know if she reported it or not. would not stay at this hotel nor recommend it to anyone. had to stay away most of the day because we could'nt use the bathroom came back to hotel around 8:30 at night pack our luggage made it through the next morning out of their @ 6 am Mehr

We booked this hotel off of hotels.com and got a fantastic rate. The hotel was close to the airport and they had a courtesy shuttle which was nice. The room we were in originally was directly above the laundry room but they moved us right away. The hotel is close to everything especially if you want to see a football game. We will be back!

I only stayed for the weekend. The stay was comfortable. But the hotel felt old and cheap. It is in definite need of an upgrade. The linens were clean, but felt old and looked dingy. Fixtures and surroundings were definitely outdated and some in need of repair. The people were very nice and the service was great - although I did not ask for much. Stayed here for a cowboys football game. The hotel staff was friendly. They provided transportation to and from the stadium and the bar/lounge downstairs very convienent. Great place to stay for the amount I paid. I would stay there again

My stay at the Admiral was actually a last minute change, because my original hotel was farther than I'd planned from our main event. Our first day of travel included, missing original flight by 30 seconds, cc strip not working @ ANY of the rental car companies, paying a gazillion $'s in taxi fees, realizing our hotel was way too far from our main attraction, […] and all the headaches and frustration that come with things not going as planned. I decided to book a hotel closer to our venue and the live operator was quick in finding a closer hotel that met my criteria. So, the next morning with a fresh and hopeful outlook for the day we checked out and headed to the Admiral Hotel in Arlington, TX. It was a blessing in disguise. I am so glad we went through that original doozie and were able to experience the comfort and awesome care that the Admiral had in store for us! The best service and the most friendly, helpful staff. We didnt have to worry about a thing. Shuttled to and from our events, even took us to a restaurant later that evening, and picked us back up when we were ready! I will stay here every year that we go to DFW area. Want to save time, hassle, and cab (car rental) fare, book this hotel now! Not just for the savings, but for the excellent service they offer. It was a great place to staty. It is an older hotel that has been renovated. The staff was very friendly and helpful and there is a nice restaurant on the premises with good prices. It is very convienent if you are going to Six Flags, Ranger games, or Cowboy games.

Room was satisfactory and clean. Hotel was quiet even during world series weekend except for a few tailgaters in the parking lot hollering at us as we entered the hotel. Staff was very friendly.

We had a very nice stay, the rooms were nice, the water was hot, which is always a plus. The restaraunt was celebrating Texas style for The Rangers and The Cowboys, which is great to see. We had a good check in and check out!!! Only problem is i called up for towels and after 15minutes finally had to go get them myself but other than that I would stay […] again!! Mehr

We stayed at the Admiral for 3 nights and enjoyed a comfortable room with handy microwave and refrig. Except for a few lumpy pillows the bed was comfortable. The amenities were the main reason why we were attracted to this hotel to begin with. A beautiful indoor and outdoor pool and weight room are conveniently located on the first floor. Free internet […] access in the lobby was a plus. The Beef O' Brady's restaurant/bar also conveniently located on the first floor was open late, served up some tasty food, although the club connected to it was somewhat loud and unrulely. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at the admiral and would love to come back again. Mehr

The staff was friendly but did not provide sufficient directions to nearest restaurants. Also, in our bathroom was a half eaten piece of a Pop Tart underneath the bathroom sink. The pub that was attached to it was fair. But I found it strange that per the wait staff the menu had been changed and the hadn't been advised.

The room was filthy. Pee under the toilet seat, used bars of soap in the shower and hair, etc. on the floor. Refrigerator was not on and smelled mildewy. When maid came up to rectify the problem, she pretended to spray the seat (sprayer broken) and then wiped it with a dry cloth, and she was prodded to spray for real, sweep, etc. When maid called up […] a second time to clean the filthy/smudged light switch plate, she used a bar of soap, saying they weren't allowed to use disinfectant. In addition to the filth, I found little knat-like bugs in the bathroom and on a garment in my own clothes bag! The front desk attendants were apathetic, although they did call the maid(s) up, and you could tell they'd been through this drill before. Since leaving, the front desk attendants will not reveal the owner's name. We consider ourselves very fair-minded peope, but this hotel was the limit! You will regret staying here, unless you don't mind the above. Mehr

The hotel was great! Very clean and comfortable. The only problem and the reason I didn't give it a 5 was because of their transportation. On their website it says that transportation anywhere up to 5 mile radius from the hotel is free, yet when we arrived and inquired they wanted to charge us $24.00 per person to take us to the cowboys staudium! The hotel admiral in Arlington was clean,and comfortable but the staff in the bar was rude and very unfriendly Which made us never want to stay there again.

For the price you couldn't beat it. Staff was friendly, the room was cleaned everyday.The inside of the building did need some maint. updates but overall clean and well kept.Only 25 min from Dallas or Fort worth, and only 3 miles from cowboys stadium.Will definitely stay again.

The hotel was a little messy like beer cans in the hall. But the majority of people stayed there for the games. They do advertise a shuttle which is not offered to the staduims)-=: but other than that the pool is beautiful and the food is priced very well.
