My family gathered in Sewickly, PA for Thanksgiving. The hotel was priced right and close to our destination. We stayed for one night. The room was very clean and even smelled good. Food choices for breakfast included waffles, fruit, eggs and more.The hotel staff was wonderful. We would recommend this hotel.

I ended up paying for this night but left & paid for another hotel. The area is a little questionable with no restaurants. It was a little creepy actually ... enough to pay double to get outta there.

New hotel with very soothing and tasteful decor. Front desk staff was excellent--very attentive and accommodating. Room was very clean and neat upon arrival. Breakfast staff was lacking, though. We stayed for three nights and when we arrived for breakfast (between 9:00 and 9:30), there was no waffle batter, plates, milk, etc. Counters were littered […] with food crumbs and trash. This happened two of the three mornings we stayed. Very irritating because it was difficult to find appropriate staff to take care of the problem and we had somewhere to be. Many guests were annoyed with the situation. After arriving back on our second day, we returned to the room to find that housekeeping neglected to take out trash and refresh towels and shampoo. The only thing that appeared to be done was the beds were made. Overall, a nice hotel, close to downtown Pittsburgh, just seems to be a staff problem that, if corrected, would result in an excellent hotel. Mehr

So with my hotels.com reservation i had already been charged for the room before i had even checked in. i guess somewhere along the way staff became confused about this because i was charged TWICE for the room. because i had used a debit card for incidentals, when i checked my online balance the day after my stay i had two "pending" charges, one for […] the usual 30% hold and another for the rate of the room. staff assured me that i would be reimbursed within 3days. 3 days passed, i was reimbursed the 30% and then fully charged for a second time. management was kind when they called me back, refunded the second charge but said it would now be another 3-5 business days before it would reflect in my account. i requested a rush on the return ( at this point the deficit was affecting other transactions in my account ie overdraft eek) management offered to contact my bank in an attempt to waive overdraft fees. i declined, what a hassle. i will most definitely not be staying here again. bummer because the hotel was in very good condition. Nice hotel. Located next to the river but also a bridge with local highway traffic. Only one restaurant within walking distant. They do have a breakfast bar but not enough to fill you up. They had sausage, donuts, waffle maker, and a few other things we ended up eating elsewhere. Housekeeping was fairly descent.. They are really tight with the towels […] or wash rags. States they want you to reuse your towels when possible. Some days we got more and other days we didn't get anything. Lucky for us I do pack extra towels... Overall it is a very nice clean hotel. Clean,bright comfortable hotel at reasonable room rate with river views which includes decent continental breakfast. A good choice if visiting Pittsburgh by car and put off by down town hotel rates. To the right of the hotel, Neville island is very industrial and not picturesque but Pittsburgh centre is only a fifteen minute car ride. The riverfront […] at the old station in Pittsburgh and the Andy Warhol museum are well worth a visit particularly on a Friday night. Mehr

The pictures and reviews don't do this hotel justice! Though it was extremely warm and we couldn't enjoy the firepit outside, we made up for it by being in the indoor jacuzzi/pool all weekend! We would definately stay here again. It was out first time visiting Pitt. and the location of the hotel was extremely convienient. Clean room amazing service […] and a great breakfast bar! Mehr

My family and I had cabin fever, so we decided to get away from home for an evening and enjoy the pool/spa at this hotel. We were very pleased with the curteous staff and everything about this hotel. I absolutely loved the patio with a firepit and veiw of bridge/Ohio River. Also, the color scheme was very cool! Thanks to all who made our stay very enjoyable. […] We definitely plan on returning!! :) Mehr

When my girlfriend and I entered. We were immediately greeted with two very friendly employees. All of the employees were very nice and helpful to us. And they had a lot of choices for the breakfast in the morning. Check in was very easy, our room was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, only the pillows weren't as comfortable as I had hoped […] and the towels in the bathroom were kind of scratchy. But that is no big deal. Over all I would stay again. Mehr

Everything about this hotel was great, except the temperature control. Basically, you can set the temperature or turn off the system, but there's no way to turn off the air-conditioning but not the heater, or vice versa. So the heater is constantly humming somewhat noisily, and if you turn down the temperature, the air conditioning kicks in somewhat […] noisily even if it is 10 degrees outside. We feared that if we turned it off completely, the room would get very cold. Instead, it was too hot and too noisy. We slept terribly despite the very comfortable bed because of this. Mehr

It Sucked, I Got charged 20 dollars for no reason. I wont be going back!

Great hotel...very comfortable...not too much around the area but that wasn't a problem for us because the city is so close by. Staff was very friendly. Loved the fire pit out back!

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and informative. The time we stayed the entrance ramp was closed for construction and we had to detour around this was somewhat inconvient but the staff gave us good directions. The pool and hot tub were nice along with the fire pit (they could trim a few trees so you see the lights of the city more but it was […] very nice. The breakfast area was ample and inviting along with a well maintaned buffet. Once again very friendly staff. They made the stay very nice. It was close enough to everything with out being in the city. Mehr

The staff was very pleasant. The hotel was very clean. The pool & outside picnic area is extremely well laid out with a beautiful view of river.

We came back to this hotel, so it says something of what we think. It's convenient, it's relatively inexpensive, and it's clean. Staff has been generally good, and helpful. Pool is nice. Breakfast is good. Decor is nice.

We stayed here while going to a concert at Star Lake near Pittsburgh. Location is extremely convenient and lobby is well done. Rooms are fine. Our only real complaints were both bathrooms (Same expereience for our friends) were not very clean (so either poorly cleaned or not cleaned). Towels were extremely thing (one step above paper towels). Great […] location and nice breakfast set up but cleaning was sub-par. Mehr

Staff at the Fairfield Inn - Neville Island is extremely friendly, attentive, and very helpful. I would stay at this hotel again just because of the friendliness of the employees. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our 3 nights. The staff was all very friendly. The breakfast was typical as was the gym and pool. Nice place- I'd stay there again.

The Fairfield Inn-Neville Island was a wonderful location close to our family and an easy ride into the city of Pittsburgh. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is very accomadating, and the breakfast is AWESOME! We will be staying here again in the future, for sure!

The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and very nicely decorated. i would absolutely stay there again!

Loved this hotel! Its brand new so the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Some of the rooms have fridges and microwaves as well. Like other Fairfield Inns, there is free wireless internet and breakfast. In the business library, printing is free too! There was a wide variety of breakfast options: waffles, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, cereal, […] etc. Because this hotel is about 15 minutes away from downtown Pittsburgh, the price was cheaper than other hotels, but if I came back to Pittsburgh, I would stay here again and again! The hotel was great clean, friendly, and comfortable. The price was a little high for the neighborhood it was in. There is not too much on the island.

Beautifully decorated, great staff, nice water view, neighborhood is not great, but starting to rebound. Great value!

Roomy room with very comfortable bed and crisp, sparkling linens.

Not only was my room really reasonable, but that includes breakfast and internet. Free parking. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Patio overlooking the river with a big fire pit, hammock, outdoor heaters. The only thing this place is lacking is a bar.

very nice and exceeded expectation. neighborhood is not a garden spot (i also think not dangerous) but i knew that. hotel grounds are very nice, including a nice spot to see the river, and there's a family restaurant right next to it. it's just off the interstate and very convenient to downtown. decor is good, pool small but very nice, breakfast is […] good, staff was good. no complaints. didn't want to spend downtown prices (and didn't,) but still could get into the city in about 15 minutes. The hotel is new and clean. The staff is very helpful and if they don't know the answer to your question they will find out for you. The pool and hot tub is clean.

Since Sewickly Motor Inn tanked this will be my place to stay.

One of the best Fairfield Inn's we have stayed at. The color scheme was made it seem like a hotel twice as expensive. The fire pit on the back patio was awesome!

The Fairfield is beautiful and has many relaxing areas. They had a computer area with a printer, general sitting/library with a large screen tv, pool, jacuzzi, workout room and best of all: a gas fire pit outside with benches and tables. It was wonderful!! The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

It hasn't failed me staying at a Marriott property. Customer Service was excellent. They greeted me by name when I arrived at 3:30 in the morning. It was very comforting after a long road trip. Extremely clean and comfortable. Very close to downtown if you dare try to find your way around down there.
