Hotel Lage sehr gut, direkt am Flughafen trotzdem leise, Zimmer szandart, für GB eher schlicht, Sauberkeit des Zimmers liess zu wünschen übrig, Wasserdruck im 8. Stock war sehr bescheiden, Internet und TV funktionierten erst nach diversen Versuchen, Restaurant nichts für Gourmeets. Hotel überzeugt nur durch die Excelente lage.

Good parking and really handy for the airport,Would reccomend to anyone.

Ideal for early morning flight from Birmingham airport. Restaurant reasonably priced and good vegetarian option. Room ideal for one person overnight.

For a budget hotel I was expecting the worst but actually found the hotel clean with relatively modern fixtures and finishes. The room was a little like a caravan with everything built in but it was all in a good state. Toilet/shower was an odd sort of plastic all in one pod, however everything was clean and worked fine. Service was the biggest surprise, […] nothing was too much bother and all the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. For those travelling to attend NEC, this is the best located hotel for you. With a good restaurant, bar in hotel and 24 hrs restaurant in the Airport, nothing like Ibis. Good luck..

There is really no reason why not to stay at this hotel if you have to stay overnight at Birmingham Airport ( approx. 250 meters from check-in at terminal ). Good basic hotel.

Great location, friendly staff, clean room, fairly comfortable beds. Food poor. We choose to eat in the Italian restaurant in the airport instead.

Brilliant design, comfortable beds ( very), lovely shower room. Breakfast was a bit pricey, but as it is self servive we got our moneys worth. Lovely croissants.

We stayed here 1 night, before an early flight from Birmingham. Had a lovely evening and sleep. Everybody was very friendly and helpful.

I had a 6 am flight so stayed at BHX Ibis, 100 yards from Terminal. Very good stay and price except chef did not show so limited food until new chef could arrive. Front desk did not respond to phone call so I had to go down to find someone. Other wise a good stay.

Great little hotel. Very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Easy to get to from Birmingham International Railway Station. Walking distance to the departures area makes getting your flight a doddle! Fantastic buffet breakfast featuring everything that is good about a "traditional English" - bacon, sausage, toast, eggs etc, or continental options […] to set you up for your travels. If you need to spend like more than 6 hours at the Birmingham airport that's the place. Clean,great location .. They need better food deal was a bit pricy..,!

The Ibis is 5 minutes walk from the terminal building at Birmingham Airport. We were visiting Top Gear Live at the NEC so arrived the night before - very easy to walk to hotel at night and therefore very easy to get to NEC next morning. Very quiet surroundings, no outside noise. Hotel was clean and tidy with good staff levels. Very good value for money […] and although only 2 star, better than a lot of far more expensive hotels I have stayed in. Room was warm, clean and had everything you need. No complaints and we will definitely stay here again on our future visits to NEC. Mehr

As with our previous booking at this excellently run Hotel our stay there was first class and great value.

Staff very slow and a bed that was little more than a piece of wood with an inch of hard foam on it. Would have got a far better night's sleep in the car. Also and extra £14 to park the car for 1 night.

Stayed here for two nights whilst attending exhibition at the nearby NEC - very good location for the venue, and well priced. Downside would be the car parking which is the airport short- to mid-term stay - Hotel guests get a reduction in the rate - but probably worth checking out airport parking discount sites for prebooking. Also don't get caught […] out as we did by taking the wrong turn into the 'Drop-Off' Car park - realising our mistake we drove straight out - but still had o pay £1 for all of 10 seconds in that car park! A LOT of people were making that mistake so keep a close eye out for signs to follow to Car Park 3! Reception was pleasant, and we were seen to efficiently. The receptionist was international so we had slight difficulty with her strong accent, but hardly anything to complain about. Our room was on second floor facing the front of the hotel. Being in the middle of the airport we knew there would be a lack of scenery to view - in fact this level is the same as the Airport-NEC/Rail station shuttle tram so if you were plannign to walk round naked in front of the window then this may be a level to avoid. However, if like us you intend to leave the room during daytime then this is not really an issue. The Room was a comfortable size - and they provided us with a travel cot for our little one - still leaving enough room to swing a feline if needed. Nice basic teamaking amenities, but no minibar. The shower was lovely, and spacious. The Bed was fairly firm - ok for me but certainly harder than a full thickness mattress - basically the bed is a flat platform on stilits - great for storing our large case and the pram. The matress was kind of like a futon thickness, but very comfy for our stay. Hairdryer in room was good - there was an ironing room on the 3rd floor. Flatscreen TV with a range of services - we didn't use any, or use the internet connection. The hotel is in excellent position for the NEC. Within an easy reach by rail or plane. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet despite the vicinity of the airport. Breakfast was definitely worth the additional pay. The restaurant menu was good too. Just a couple of minor points - cleaners forgot to leave the milk for a morning coffee - so please […] ask at the reception. Also - parking at the airport is quite expensive, despite the disount from the hotel - so bear that in mind. Otherwise, am happy to recommend it! Mehr

Stayed at Ibis at Birmingham airport because of its close proximity to NEC. Generally satisfied with stay but very expensive parking in nearby airport terminal - even with hotel discount. Module-style rooms but comfortable, clean and well sound-proofed. Good value all-you-can-eat breakfast but cooked food was only average. Ate dinner once in hotel but […] this was very good and decent price. Free monorail to NEC from airport terminal and plenty of food options also in airport. Overall, would use Ibis again. Mehr

Good Location if flying in or out of Birmingham International airport. Literally and five minute walk from arrivals. Reception helpful and friendly. Bar and eating facilities clean. Food average. Stayed here twice. The first room very basic. Second stay room very comfortable and quite.

Excellent for proximity to airport and rail station; just right for an overnight stopover; efficient & helpful reception; well-organised restaurant and bar; good food. Room had all mod-cons and necessary business facilities. The hotel was fine in all respect, clean, tidy, staff were polite and helpful. We were a party of 4 in Birmingham for the Quilting show at the NEC, unfortunately 3 of us were partially disabled so getting to and from the exhibition centre was not very good although there is a shuttle service it was not suitable for us. For able bodied people it was […] perfectly adequate for both the airport and the National Exhibition Centre. The hotel itself did not provide parking but there is a car park opposite which as disabled people was welcome..The food in the restaurant was ok for a one night stay. Mehr

This hotel is a super location for anyone wanting to be near both the airport and the NEC centre,,2 mins walk from arrivals to htl and 5 min walk to NEC but if your lazy £6 in a taxi

Everything was most satisfactory and would have no hesitation in staying there again.

This was a great place to stay. Perfect location for both flying and riding the train. Even though I didn't have a car, I was easily able to get to York, Bristol, Bath and London whenever I wanted. The bathroom was coolm clean and modern--a friend of mine called it "beam me up, Potty"

Very nice hotel, just outside of the Airport, good value for money, perfect service, my room (505) been clean and tidy, very convenient way to stay over night when traveling. I've been already in Ibis hotel in London Gatwick- with same standard, would stay again.

A few yards from the terminal. Clean and shiney with helpful staff. Unable to open door of first room. Had another allocated promptly. This had a broken blind that had to be propped up to keep the light from the carpark opposite out. Hot breakfast sounded a bargain. Well you get's what you pay for - just. Only hot items were bacon, dry sausuage, dried […] up beans and polystyrene scrambled egg. In spite of this would stay again as so cheap and convenient. Mehr

Only stayed overnight but ideal for what we needed. Did not hear any aircraft noise considering on airport! Only 2 minor points no hairdryer and no showergel/shampoo in dispenser in shower.

Perfect for INEC

grat value for money, in an ideal location for stopover or early morning flight, however bathroom partition of a very flimsy nature and not very private.

Hotel is ideally placed for the airport and the NEC. Little monorail to the exhibition centre is fantastic. even though the hotel is right next to the airport and the rail link, the room was double glazing was excellent and the room was quiet. didn't eat in the restaurant or bar so I can't comment on the food.

Basic hotel for business traveller in close proximity to Airport. Its located in hotel car park with no local amenities but most guests stay here for NEC or airport access. One suggestion is that they put soap at bathroom sink. I only stayed one night en-route to other destination. Not sure I would stay here if attending the NEC for a number of days […] as it is very basic. Mehr

Very convenient for the airport, nice clean room and friendly staff. For the price, everything you could want.

This hotel is clean, modern and close to the airport unlike some others I have stayed at that were advertised as airport hotels but were really quite a hike from the airport. Biggest problem though is that the internet was supposed to be included in the price and was not. Then to add insult to this after I paid about $20 for internet for one night the […] connection was terrible. It was slow and inconsistent and I could not get much work done because I kept getting kicked offline. If they improve their internet and quit charging for it this would be a decent little hotel. The location does the trick. Rooms are comfortable (as long as you like a firm bed) and clean.

2 minutes walking to terminal building. Surprisingly large, clean rooms. Food and drinks served till late. Early breakfast (4am start). Extremely friendly, hard working staff. Would def. use again when taking an early flight from BHX.

Dirty, Dreary and Expensive Avoid at all costs!

Stayed at the Ibis Birmingham Airport on a visit to a Show at the NEC. I found this to be an excellent choice for the purpose as it is so close to the venue and also the airport. This is an excellent value hotel, although the rooms are small and basic they are very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are a one peice unit which are functional and clean […] (great idea for hotels) also the shower units have good water pressure. I also dined in the hotel. It has a combined dining/bar area which can be busy at times but I found the food to be very good and reasonably priced. Top this with friendly staff and great room rate and you can't go too far wrong. I would not hesitate in recommending the Ibis Birmingham Airport to any of my friends or family and hope to return on my next visit to NEC. Mehr
